We thought the location and the building uniqueness was got but bedding was terrible.

The property was unique.

The beds were uncomfortable, the pillows were very smelly and the whole apartment smelt damp. We also could not get heating to work.

Lovely apartment in an impressive old house

Generous sized accommodation in a beautiful old house; the ensuite bathrooms were much appreciated. Convenient location. Very well equipped modern kitchen and very large airy living room. The welcome bottles of Prosecco were a wonderful surprise and we enjoyed playing pool. There was parking for 2 cars, though the space was a little tight.

There was a strange smell lingering. There seemed to be some not so clean bits. The electric radiator/towel rail in one of the shower rooms was not working. The given contact number replied quickly and said they would contact the owner. Nothing more was heard. The (surprising) Security Deposit was not returned within the 5 days as stated in the email and there was no response to our queries. It was returned after a week.

Superb

Very responsive host and good communication, had everything you would need in the apartment. Pool table was a super hit with the kids, well located.

Sofa bed weren't comfortable to sleep on and the heater in the ensuite didn't work.

Location was excellent. 3 good sized bedrooms with onsite showers and a good kitchen

The apartment was not clean. There had been a party there at some point as a lot of glitter and confetti was around. Had to wash the saucepan and cooking trays before we could use them as they had been put away dirty. Chewing gum stuck to a window and unwashed shot glasses on the window chill. Outside area covered in cigarette butts and bbq not usable. Sorry this place could be amazing if it was properly maintained.
