About this house rental
This super cute casita is in one of the loveliest locations in town with clear views of the Caribbean Sea. It’s backing onto the Boca del Rio Park, right on the beach, so you can kick off your shoes and wiggle your toes in the sand from the moment you arrive.
Take a quick stroll to some of the best and most popular restaurants and bars on the island and you’ll soon discover that the locals are welcoming and fun. Don’t be surprised if they invite you to join in their games of basketball or volleyball on the beach. Staying at Casita Playa del Parque, you'll be completely immersed in our local culture.
Just beside the park, is the river that splits the Caye, and the shore is where families gather for picnics, fishing and swimming, especially on weekends. If you’ve brought children, you’ll be delighted to know that there’s a playground within easy sight from your front porch where they can safely have fun and make new friends.
The center of town is a short walk and convenient for shopping.
This stylish and comfortable, newly renovated 2 bed/1 bath beach casita has 30Mb WiFi and split AC units in both bedrooms and the living room. Each bedroom has a king-sized bed and one of the King beds can be converted into twins.
There’s a 60-inch TV in the living room as well as a smaller TV in each bedroom, all connected to cable with over 100 channels. This makes it an ideal little getaway for four adults or a small family, especially as it has a fully equipped kitchen stocked with all the basics and a washing machine and dryer. Because of its community based location, and there is a bar/restaurant next door, this property is best suited for adventurous/active travelers that want to immerse themselves in Belizean culture rather than sitting by the pool sipping Piña Coladas or being in bed early.

We traveled as a family of 4 - two of which are teens. As others have said, this house in right in the thick of it! There is a bar next door that plays music until about 11 pm. Personally, we enjoyed the atmosphere. The location was great with good golf cart parking and easy access to many of the places we wanted to check out - Wayo's, Nauticrab, Palapa's, Truck Stop. We had a couple of issues come up during the stay, but the management company was super responsive and those were very quickly resolved. The home was spacious and clean and offered everything we needed. And the bonus of the bar next door was it was easy to grab a night cap to enjoy with the awesome view from the deck. We had a great time and would stay again!

This was a wonderful vacation rental. The location was great, very central to all San Pedro has to offer. We enjoyed the cleanliness of the house and the ambiance all around us, the park, the beach and the bar. It was very comfortable and felt spacious and very safe. The management was excellent. You could not ask for anything more!

This is great little place central to pretty much everything. We enjoyed our morning coffees on the rear deck every morning while taking in the beautiful ocean view and sunshine. The house has everything you'll need for cooking to relaxing and each bedroom is quite private. Simon and his crew were very quick to answer or deal with any issue or questions we had.We did not rent a golf cart until after day 3, but soon learned why it's a must and enjoyed one for the remaining 10 days. The Casita is located 30ft from a little market store with fresh fruit, vegetables, eggs, etc. There is a fuel station located just over the bridge, about 1 block and numerous little bars, restaurants, beach BQ's all along the beach. We would highly recommend this place.

We had a great week (minus the rain and the noise from the bar next door) at this property. Couldn’t ask for much better views of the reef and sunrise, the proximity to all of Boca Del Rio and the accomadations.

Daniel was amazingly helpful: waited with us for our golf cart rental to show up at the Ferry Terminal and then brought us to the house and showed us around; , brought extra water jugs when we needed it; and met us again to take us back to the airport. In short, customer service was simply the best.
The house itself was beautifully furnished and clean. Plenty of hot water in the shower. However, it does sit right next to an outdoor club/bar so the music was loud on some nights. The benefit is that we didn't have to play our own music as music was always going.
All in all, it was an adventure, a pleasant customer experience and a beautiful place to be.

The property is wonderful, exactly as shown. But there were many things I wish I had known before booking. The info may have been there I just didn't see it. There is a bar right next door and another next to that. Everynight there were people partying next door and some nights were really loud. The owners of the property are aware as there are sound machines in each bedroom. If you are a light sleeper you will need to be prepared. The unit is in a very commercial area. The local traffic is heavy. The bridge less than a few hundred yards away is under construction. One way traffic started every day at 6 am with many horns blaring. The sound machines can't touch this. Nor the dogs barking, A LOT. I believe they are security dogs so whenever anyone walks by they bark. Loudly.The unit was well appointed. We were able to have a couple of dinners and enjoyed the amenities. Could never figure out how to use the TV properly but we aren't big on TV.The cleanliness of the property could use some attention. The floors were terribly dirty, if you walked around without shoes your feet were black in minutes. They just don't change the water enough when washing the floor. The dishes, counter appliances were all clean, well maintained and wonderful. Just the dirty floor. Would I stay here again? No. I'm a light sleeper.Would I recommend the company? Absolutely. They were very communicative and helpful. They responded quickly. Their guide could use a little more detail on what is BZ and USD so it's clear on services. Also better TV instruction would be nice.

The property is nicely appointed and large but the location is disappointing. The location was great in that it is accessible to most sites, restaurants, and bard, but not in the heart of downtown San Pedro. But, the noise from the hotel open-air bar (the tall blue building in the photo), which is also only several feet away from the bedroom window is LOUD. After a day out on the waters or exploring, it is frustrating to listen to loud music and bad karaoke until 11:30 pm when you're just trying to relax or get some zzzzs. The property may be better suited for a group of friends or night owls. The noise machine that was provided cannot compete with the loud music and noise. We also stopped sitting out on the deck because people kept coming up to ask for $ and/or food. However, the property management was excellent-very responsive and communicative.

One thing to note, although the house is on the water, the water was not at all swimmable because of a huge amount of algue in the water (the whole beach on that side of the island is filled with them). We adapted and went to Secret beach on most days because of this, but thought it could be useful for others to know.
Also, you definitely need earplugs for sleep as the bar next door has very loud music until 11-12 pm.

Great Property, Great Service
The property is everything the pictures represent them to be - a clean, comfortable home next to the public park with an easy walk or golf cart ride to bakeries and bars/restaurants. The park fills up with local kids playing soccer and basketball. My son enjoyed jumping in to a few pick up games. The beach made for a nice view and we got in the water some, but you'll want to make the drive to Secret Beach if you want the pristine beach experience.
The customer service and information made available through the property managements app/website was of great value. We were kept up to date with the ever changing COVID related entry requirements, was able to research and book activities, and coordinate transportation. We received a level of service I would have expected of a resort rather than a VRBO.

The back of the house faces the sea with a park and playground equipment between the house and the sea. The front Of the house was extremely close to a bridge that is sometimes one way and sometimes two-way. It can be a bit noisy in the morning when the trucks are hitting their horn to let the bridge people know that they need to turn it into a one-way until the trucks were passed over.The location of the house was convenient to everywhere and within a few feet of everything we needed. When we left the house and walked down the beach road we have multiple choices of bars and restaurants out on peers into the sea. The house was well-equipped and reasonably quiet. However, there is a caveat, a bar was being rehabilitated next-door to the house. When it opens It could very well be very noisy at times since the bar is just about 3 feet away from the bedroom part of the house. The property management company was the best we have ever had And responded very quickly to any minor problem that we had. I owe the property manager SIMON and his crew the highest of compliments.

Beautiful property near all the action
We enjoyed out stay here very much. The house sits right behind a waterfront park that is always full of locals hanging out. You're a short ride to everything you'd ever need with a grocery right across the street. If you like a quiet spot this isn't isn't place for you. There is music playing next door and the road right in front of the house and bridge has pretty constant vehicle traffic. But if that doesn't bother you, this place is a winner. The manager was great and helped with everything we needed. Would recommend.

The home is the perfect location for an authentic San Pedro experience. There are great tacos and beach bars right next door, and the home had everything we needed for an amazing stay. The property managers were great - met us at the airport, arranged our golf cart!

Perfect first trip to San Pedro
We had a wonderful experience. House was clean, beds comfortable, listing was just as advertised. Location for us was wonderful. We had some travel changes and actually arrived on an earliest ferry and Simon had someone come meet us and help us to the house. There is a restaurant next door and they were very friendly. It did get loud with karaoke one night but the house has ear plugs and white noise machines to help with that. The public park is out front. Great for basketball for the kids. Remember your water shoes for the beach. Papis Pizza and fruit/veggie stand are right across the street and grocery just a block or so down.

A beautiful property
The property is a nice spacious place to vacation. The home has two bedrooms and one bath so might be best for a family or two couples who don’t mind sharing. I was concerned about traveling to a remote place and relying on an unknown property manager to have everything organized but there was no need to worry. Simon and his staff were on top of everything , kept us updated and performed on time. I own rental properties and I would love to have someone like Simon manage my properties. The home is very clean, spacious and well maintained with good amenities, air conditioning, fast wifi and a smart TV. Simon and Danny were extremely attentive, kind and helpful throughout our 11 day stay. The home is conveniently located near bars, restaurants, dive shops and the beach. We very much enjoyed our stay, the only downside would be that the mornings can be a little bit noisy due to the central location and proximity to the bridge. Aside from that, everything was excellent.
