Great house, perfect for a family break.

Lovely, modern, clean, spacious perfect for our family. Lots of space for the little one to crawl & play. Great location close to beautiful Newbourgh beach.

Peaceful stay

Loved the house, it was very organised and contained everything you would need for a stay. The owner was very accommodating and allowed us to stay longer than the check out time due to our emergency.

Fantastic

The property was exceptionally comfortable and well maintained with lots of extras to make the stay comfortable - endless towels, toilet rolls, cleaning products etc. The beds were so comfy, the garden is safe for children and gets lots of sun. The location is excellent for Newborough beach. We had a fabulous time. Thank you.

Lovely house

The house is so cosy and comfortable with plenty of space for everyone. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed and the enclosed garden was wonderful for the kids to play in. There is a handy guide with lots of suggestions for days out and places to eat. We will be back!

Lovely cottage with wonderful host.

Lovely cottage, with great facilities. It was very clean, and Hilary, the host, was accessible and very responsive to any questions. This was our second stay at the cottage, which speaks for itself.

Nothing at all. Our expectations were met or exceeded, so we're very happy 😊

Really excellent.

Everything was better than expected & lovely to be in a warm house when gales were raging outside.

My request for no room fresheners & fragrance sticks was forgotten - cause swollen eyes, sneezing etc. (Moved & covered them OK.)

Lovely house for a family holiday with excellent facilities.

great facilities for our family of 5 the children loved it comfy beds and excellent kitchen lovely big garden very near Newborough and other family attractions

Fantastic house, great base.

Terrific house, brilliantly appointed and lacking nothing. Lots to do within a short drive and a lovely garden to chill out and stare at the stars.

The only hitch is that the village of Gwenalt doesn't have a shop, but if you're prepared and not worried about having to drive to get provisions then it's not a problem.

Great house, host and facilities - we will definitely be staying again!!

Absolutely lovely house with great facilities. Cleanliness to a very high standard, the parking is great, the garden has everything you need and is wonderfully quiet. Proximity to Newborough is great and other areas such as Menai.

We had a lovely time. Hilary, our host, was prompt in replying to any queries. we would definitely recommend this house.

Excellent facilities. Clean and comfortable accommodation. Beautiful garden. Ideal location for us. Helpful host.

Great Holiday Cottage

The house was warm and comfortable. The perfect place to come back to after a busy day out and about. Would definitely recommend.

The only small issue was the stairs as I found them quite steep for me as I have painful knees. Having said that there was a downstairs loo so didn't have to go up and down too often.

A brilliant break away with friends with small children

I loved the space and how there was loads of extra equipment items to use plus much much more. The house is amazing for catching up with family and friends and will be back asap

We had a great week and the sun shone so it was perfect.

General layout of the house and the space it offers. Lovely garden and garden furniture. Private driveway for easy parking. Location makes driving to the east of the island very accessible. House always cleans and meets our expectations. Great not to worry about running out of toilet roll or dishwasher tablets as there are always plenty available!

Neighbour was rather nosy this time, but obviously beyond Hilary's control. The bathroom could do with a bit of modernising but I think that is scheduled to happen soon.

Great pet friendly self=catering accommodation

Garden was fenced and safe to let our 7month old puppy out to play. Plenty of room in the house and all facilities that we needed

Beautiful cottage

We have just spent 3 nights at gwenallt and it is perfect, so much thst we have already booked a return visit. The house is beautiful and spotlessly clean, very well equipped and in a great location for exploring Anglesey and North Wales. Hillary was so helpful from the initial booking, we would have no hesitation in recommending Gwenallt. We can't wait to come back!

Excellent quality and comfortable accommodation.

Excellent accommodation. The newly installed downstairs cloakroom was a major bonus and included the washing machine. Very spacious with very large and well equipped kitchen and most comfortable lounge. The wi-fi service was a good quality speed and two of us were using it. The beds were very comfortable and spacious rooms. Good size parking area adjacent to door. Spacious garden and useful facilities. We found the accommodation location to be both quiet but accessible and providing easy access to the coasts etc. Highly recommended.
