About this apartment rental

Air conditioning (mini split) was just installed that will cool the living room and loft!! This 3 bedroom (2 full bedrooms plus a loft bedroom) Ptarmigan condo is the perfect four season Whitefish Retreat. The condo is part of Ptarmigan Village and is located perfectly between downtown Whitefish and the ski/bike/hike trails at Whitefish Mountain resort. Ptarmigan Village has access to a indoor pool and summer outdoor pool. There is an shared outdoor hot tub, sauna, fishing pond, tennis courts, playground, hiking trails and access to Whitefish lake (5 miles away) as part of Ptarmigan resort's guest amenities. The condo itself sleeps 8 comfortably and is perfect for your Whitefish vacation. The main level is the living room with flatscreen TV , wood burning fireplace, dining table, kitchen and a large private deck. One king bedroom and two queen bedrooms plus the living room has a brand new Queen sleeper sofa. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you will need to cook while here including a new refrigerator with ice and water dispenser, a ground coffee maker, crockpot, waffle maker and more. For those traveling with children, the condo has a pack and play, high chair and stair gates for safety. Lots of board games too!!

Ptarmigan Village is only 30 minutes from Glacier International Airport, 10 minutes from the Amtrak Station and downtown Whitefish, 10 minutes from Whitefish Ski and Summer Resort and less than an hour from the west entrance to Glacier National Park.

Whitefish, Montana is the perfect place for a vacation in WINTER or SUMMER! Walk out the front door and you are just minutes from enjoying the best Montana recreational activities: alpine skiing, cross country treks, fishing, hiking, rafting, golfing, art galleries, gourmet dining, & live theater …the activities are endless. Downtown Whitefish is a quaint town with great restaurants, boutique shops, spas, nightlife, and farmer's market (food, arts & crafts, and music) in summertime.

Location was amazing in relation to the ski resort and downtown whitefish! The place was really clean and had all the amenities we required! The Checkin process was seamless and Stumptown rentals communicated frequently via email. The outdoor hot tub was close which was nice to walk to. We explored a little path through the woods to find Elmer’s pond. Would definitely stay here again!

The longer the week went on the more we enjoyed our time at the condo. The bathrooms and kitchen is a bit outdated but the beds were amazing and space for 4 of us was perfect, could have easily accommodated 6. The only disappointment was we saw a keurig in the picture and there wasn’t one. But on the plus side the had several trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper and dishwasher soap so no need to buy extra. The property management did a great job of being responsive and sent several emails and texts to let us know all the info. We would love to stay here again. We came to go skiing so for us to be 15 min from downtown and 10 min from the mountain was perfect. The community also has a heated indoor pool and large outdoor hot tub. It was very clean and only took a 2 min drive to get to the building. When we come back we would love to stay in the same community. Best bang for your buck!!

The place was very clean and stocked with what we needed. I felt like the description of the place was exactly what we got. The pool and hot tub area were clean. Also the whole place felt low key and quite. The town is only a few minutes away. The owners were quick to respond with any questions we had. I would definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay. Location is awesome 30 mins from airport, 5-10 mins from base lodge, and 10-15 from downtown Whitefish. Pool on grounds is great for kids and families. Very clean and had all things that you may need. The customer service is great as well. We will be looking to come back.

It is a 3 story townhouse connected to 2 other townhouses. Quiet neighborhood about 10 min from town. Nice amenities and well stocked. Little smaller than it looks but very cute. Upper bedroom is in a loft so not very private. More for older kids.

We loved the cabin! All ameneties were great. Outdoor and indoor pools were fun and outdoor hot tub was big. Beautiful atmosphere just outside the city. Loved every bit of it. Pickleball lines on the tennis courts too. Private beach access was great. Pictures I felt were a good representation of the actual place.

I was a little surprised about the size, given the photo's that we looked at before booking. The inside could use some updating and a set of new pots and pans. We had to go purchase some pans in order for us to feel comfortable in preparing our meals.

We visited for a spring break ski vacation and debated whether we should stay in a condo near the ski lifts or further down the mountain. We are really happy we chose the second, access to a great pool and wonderful hot tub we almost had to ourselves was a great perk. The village where the property is located is beautiful and the property itself is as advertised, well equipped and clean. Very cozy. The only point of criticism is the grill, which is electric instead of gas and was not all that clean.

The property we rented was perfect for our family trip to WhiteFish. The condo is very well appointed with all the needed kitchen essentials. The pool and hot tub were an added bonus. The fireplace and onsite wood was wonderful.

The property was gorgeous and fully family friendly. Especially loved the outdoor dining area for games and eating under the blue sky. The condo fit our crew of five teenage boys well and the kitchen made it affordable to feed that army. Jacuzzi at the end of a day of hiking was like frosting on the cake.

The overall townhouse was nice. She goes was left in the parking lot and my daughter cut her foot. Cleaning was 85%. Lots of amenities. Very nice area. The owner stayed in touch with any questions or issues. She was very polite. I would visit again. Minor issues but overall with all the economic issues I enjoyed my stay. I would book with tbis owner again.
