Fantastic place. Great value for money. So close to the beach.

We had a visiting bobtail that lived in nearby bushes. The beach is so close that you can easily walk from the house to the beach in bare feet. An assortment of board games and DVDs provided.

Single beds needed upgrading. The mattresses were very uncomfortable for us adults. Needed a decent serving spoon included in the kitchen drawer.

apart from the fabulous beach location, I am disappointed in the stay at this property, I expected a little more updated

the location was great and the beach beautiful house was clean although the showers needs some attention

the furniture is a bit dated and the fabric couch needs a thorough clean the 2nd bathroom’s shower isn’t working properly there were no hand towels, only 2 bath towels it would be nice to have the small details like some shampoo and conditioner for the price we paid per night no wifi the very small garage has so much stuff against the walls that it’s hard getting in and out of your parked car. the BBQ is filthy to say the least and not useable expensive for the older facilities

Comfort Style and Location

The beachfront location was wonderful Shop and restaurant walking distance away. House was comfortable, beautifully furnished and very well stocked with the kitchen essentials. Cosy fire , lovely bed linens and plenty of blankets.

A clothes dryer would have been very helpful in the wintery conditions with children

With my adult kids and their partners and our two dogs it was a perfect place for abit of R and R.

The location was fantastic being across the road from the dog beach. The owner was very helpful and understanding when I had to call about a mishap. I liked the fact that the property has two bathrooms, a laundry and lots of beds with linen and bath towels provided. Also having included small but significant consumable items like plastic cling wrap and aluminium foil, soap for washing hands at every basin, pegs for hanging clothes on the line, tea towels, bin liners for the kitchen bin, bath mats (and not just towels) and sufficient toilet paper were all unexpected but pleasant surprises. The beds were also comfy!

It may just make things abit nicer for users if the home is updated with maybe a skylight or two to brighten the place up, as the home is abit dark (with slate floors and exposed dark brick throughout), renovation of the bathrooms and kitchen and newer lounge furniture. All are functional but quite old and abit tired. The hot water in the ensuite shower seemed to ebb and flow between hot and warm even when it wasn't touched. It also seemed to us that that floors were not that clean - as we like to walk around with bare feet inside - but we just ended up wearing thongs inside.
