他では出来ない素晴らしい体験が出来る秘境の宿

一泊だけの滞在でしたが、ジャイサルメールの旅の締めくくりに選んで大正解でした。最初の2日間は、フォート内のホテルに滞在して、フォート観光を楽しみ、ここMala Ki Dhaniでは自然を全身で感じられる体験ができました。まるでプラネタリウムにいるような見渡す限りの満点の星空に、山羊たちとの触れ合い、そしてオーナー家族のホスピタリティ、全てが最高でした！

Wonderful unique experience out in nature.

Stayed with a friend of mine for one night whilst in Jaisalmer. So glad we found this place and would highly recommend anyone to visit for a night or two. From the get go Om was super helpful, contacted us to organise getting to the property and answered all questions we had. On arrival to the location we were pleasantly surprised with how peaceful and clean it was. The mud huts were great to sleep in, I felt very connected to nature and we both sleep incredibly well. Basic as expected but with all the necessities and a very unique experience. The food was fantastic. Oms wife cooked fresh vegetables, daal, rice and roti for our evening meal. I was very grateful to eat home cooked tasty food. It was a nice break from all the heavy curries we’d been eating in the run up! Whilst visiting we also received henna tattoos and were taken to the local village where we shared chai with the locals. Om also offered a safari tour which we were not able to do.

Wonderful place

An unusual place on the map of India. You must come there for at least 1 night (and if you have time, longer) if you are looking for peace away from the hustle and bustle of Jaisalmer, a friendly atmosphere created by the hosts, a sky full of stars, delicious and healthy food, MALA KI DHANI is the place for you. Additionally, the host is very willing to talk about life in India. The history of this place is amazing. If we ever come back to Jaisalmer, we will definitely come back to Om and his family.

Om Ji, I loved you and your family. You guys are so kind hearted and very very helpful. You truly reminded me of my child hood days, when I used to stay in my village, that in spite of lagging modern facilities, still it was very very close to my heart and close to nature. I loved this concept of preserving our post independence period memories, when there was no electricity, no modern facilities, and still we used to remain healthy and remain close to family and nature. I would like to mention one thing that may help upcoming guests those are coming with their kids - be careful with your kids during night time, because there is no power grid electricity supply in this area, and kids usually go on playing here and there without thinking of sticks and sharp corners found at certain places, of which usually we are not aware of. Such things may hurt your kids if you will not keep an eye on them during night time. I will highly recommend this place to anyone who would like to experience history of Indian villages, and like to be close to nature. Thank you!!

If you want to see the reality of village life in India then I do not think you will find a better place than here. Om and his family are amazing hosts and really look after you as if you were a member of the family. They really went above and beyond, there are four fantastic children as well as lots of great goats to keep you company. Sleeping under the stars is a fantastic experience. The food cooked is plentiful and delicious. A thoroughly fantastic experience which I 110% recommend to anyone. Embrace and enjoy village life.

Come with an open heart, and leave with it full to the brim with happiness and connection

What a magical place 😍Mala Ki Dhani has been the highlight of our Rajasthan tour. We chose to stay here to experience the desert and village lifestyle, and we found Om Bhati and his family and extended family to be the most happy, friendly and heartwarming hosts. There was fun and laughter everywhere from the children, puppies, and mischievous goats. Harish, Om’s nephew, attended dutifully and with intuitiveness beyond his years to endure our comfort, and did so with good humour and good will. Om went above and beyond that of any other host - collecting us from Jaiselmer, taking us on non-touristic camel rides, and providing us with plenty of water and three meals a day. Papu, his beautiful wife, cooked wonderful simple village fare from in the traditional kitchen, and was very obliging allowing us to sit with her and be part of the experience. We loved our little round hut, but took up the offer of sleeping under the stars for two nights and it was sublime! We were plenty warm enough, under our clean, comfortable, warm quilts and we had no issues with bugs or mosquitoes - although one night the playful puppies wanted to join us on the beds in the early which was delightful and sweet, although we didn’t allow them onto the bedding. Sunsets, stars, moonrise and sunrise viewed from our pillows was an experience we’ll never forget. Most of all, we’ll never forget the feeling of simplicity, warmth and love from this exceptional family. What a magnificent place to stay, may Om and his family have many blessings in return for their kindness 🙏💖

Absolutely wonderful perfect place. There was nothing we didn’t like, some may not like solar power, or bucket showers and toilets, but for us it was part of the authentic experience, and we’re not so arrogant as to make demands for that to change. Rather we’d prefer the investment it would take to install flushing toilets etc, to go toward the good of the village in other areas like the children’s education . A few days of authentic life is good for the soul. And this is a wonderfully authentic place. There’s no wifi either, hooray! And we got our own signal just fine. Best place ever 😍 Like a dream :)

Incredible experience

This was an incredible experience. I did this instead of a camel safari and I thought it was better. You get to stay with a family out in the middle of the desert. You get to witness their everyday life and eat with them in the evening. His wife makes lovely food and you can sleep under the stars. I would highly recommend this if staying in Jaisalmer.

Hidden Gem. Experience Village life.

Mala Ki Dhani is not like typical stay and you can experience rural village life. There is no taped water and electricity ( But the host provided us solar battery) . But, you don't need to worry about toilet and water for our daily needs. The host OM was always helpful at any time and he started to communicate immediately after we booked the room. He arranged tuk-tuk(auto) from Jaisalmer station. His little children gave us a good company to the village and it was a wonderful experience. There were naughty, cute and always cheerful. If you need a break from busy city life, you can book and relax in his place. OM bhai helped us a lot and arranged desert activities at a reasonable price. He was with us a whole day and explained about the culture, history of Jaisalmer during the travel. He became a friend more over than a usual host. I will surely prefer this gem to any other person without any hesitation, if they need to experience Rajasthan village life.

Authentic desert experience!

Mala ki Shani offers a unique and authentic desert experience. Rooms are basic and simple. Om, who runs the place, is a very nice person, always ready to provide what you want and make your stay memorable. Every night we had a campfire and watching the starry night was delightful. There's a beautiful village a kilometer away which is a must visit. Food provided is simple, yet delicious. Will definitely be back soon!

Where do i begin on this, oh boy, this place is stunning, the view, the food or the gracious host Mr Om himself, this place was beyond what one could expect, and this was an absolute delightful experience. What makes this place great is the love and care this family brings to this place. I’m glad to have stumbled up on this place, and i strongly recommend everyone to give this place a try. Its worth every penny.
