A nice stopover, a good alternative to a city stay in Chartres.

We had a nice room, there is secure parking at the rear, the restaurant was excellent with friendly attentive service. The location, west of Chartres, is a little off the beaten track but was good for our onward travel to channel ports to next day. The small town has an Intermarche supermarket with self-service petrol station.

Would prefer proper cups in the room. They only provide two small cardboard cups for tea/coffee, which we used for a herbal tea at bedtime. Being English, we take milk and tea bags for a morning drink and China cups could have been reused.

Excellent séjour dans un hôtel de qualité, tout était parfait

Très bel hôtel et excellent restaurant. Décoration sobre et de qualité, tout était parfait. Je souligne la propreté et le confort de la literie. Le personnel était très aimable et à l'écoute de nos besoins. Nous avons aussi apprécié le parking privé à l'arrière de l'hôtel fermé la nuit.

Le fait de devoir attendre jusque 17 h 30 pour avoir quelqu'un à la réception. Nous faisions une étape sur le chemin de retour des vacances , arrivés vers 16 h, l'hôtel était fermé comme indiqué ( j'avais prévenu de notre arrivée, on m'avait indiqué qu'il n'y aurait personne avant 17 h 30 mais quand on est en route, il n'est pas facile de calculer l'heure exacte de notre arrivée) Il ne faisait pas très bon à l'extérieur, (fraîcheur et pluie), et aucun endroit dans les environs pour s'abriter, seul le bar de l'hôtel de ville était ouvert, heureusement, nous avons donc pu prendre un café chaud en attendant. Prévoir quelqu'un à l'accueil entre 15 et 17 h 30 aurait pu éviter ce petit désagrément.

Charming hotel/restaurant where you’ll be fully satisfied and happy of your stay

well located, well decorated and furnished, bright and good size rooms, private parking with door, security feeling (all doors requiring a card/pass). Restaurant is not really cheap but worth it because of the food quality and service. People is there to provide a very good stay wherever in the hotel or restaurant. highly recommend!

Great for a stop over

Nice boutique Hotel in town centre, recently refurbished, safe parking to rear. Nice room and good breakfast. Nice meal in restaurant, lovely food and helpful waiter. Would stay again as easy drive to Calais and beyond.

The check out was a problem as we had paid for the room via booking.com and they charged us again. They had difficulty accessing their account system to check that we had paid as no one knew the password! We thought the breakfast a little overpriced at 13 Euros pp

Exceptional

Super place, we stayed in a self contained apartment with 2 bedrooms. It is located outside of the logis, a short walk away. Warm, clean and perfect for our overnight stop. I would book it again

Very welcoming and comfortable.

Didn't have breakfast as we needed to move onto our next destinatation.

I left my mobile charger and lead there, sent a google translate message in French, on Wednesday am to them but not received a reply to my reques, also sent you the same message hopefully I will get an answer?

we were there on a Sunday evening, nothing open in the village, they offered a meal in our room but we would have had to eat it on our lap when there was a perfectly good dining room downstairs. I think house guests should be offered the dining room to eat, the staff were there to prepare and deliver to room, so why couldn’t we eat at a table

A good overnight stop with an excellent restaurant

We stopped here for the night while travelling to Caen. Hotel situated on high street of a small town, access to parking through lane at rear (you have to ask for directions). Room modern and air-conditioned with electric shutters. Very comfortable bed. Excellent meal in restaurant with some memorable dishes. Breakfast good and glad to see that coffee was freshly prepared and brought to your table, rather than the usual and awful self-service coffee machine. Staff very friendly and helpful. Quiet despite being on the road.

Nothing really - location might not be to everyone's liking.

Buffet breakfast and 3 course set menu dinner. both were good. Room was excellent for a family of 4 with a double bed and 2 singles sectioned off with a sliding door.

Bed was a bit hard.

Disapointing visit but friend staff

The chap who signed us in on receiption was very nice. It was easy to find.

There was no bar area, we reserved a table in the resturant but it was very rushed and the ambience was like a motoway service stataion. It was totally full but i beleive it was the only resurant in the town. The room was extremely hot with no aircon (even in April) the furniture was a mishmass of things. The noise from the street below prevented us from sleeping so we left at 4am to continue wth our journey (4 hours earlier than planned). Leaving the carpark was difficult as the gates had been locked,it took us 20 minutes and a lot of strenght to find a way to open them. There is no-one on reception after the early evening and the phones go to an answer machine which didnt help.

This is more a restaurant with letting bedrooms, meaning that the facilities other than the room and restaurant are limited.

Whilst the staff were as helpful as they could be it felt sloppy and. Slow expectations.

We didn’t have breakfast as it could only start at 8.30 and we needed to leave before then

I paid for a superior room but it was on the top floor and the lift only went to the floor below. My husband has a bad back. The only window was a velux right over the bed which needed to be open as the room was really hot, but equally was close and there was a draught… The room was pretty small not anything like the photo on the website.. We arrived at 9.30pm to a locked door and had to ring to be let in, when we got to the room it was made up for one person only so had to ring again and ask for supplies of pillows towels and even another paper cup…
