Der Aufenthalt im Black Beach Cottage war insgesamt angenehm, mit einer fantastischen Lage am Strand

Lage: Die Lage des Black Beach Cottage ist einfach super! In nur fünf Minuten zu Fuss erreicht man den wunderschönen Strand. Charme: Das Cottage hat einen verträumten Charme, der zu einer angenehmen Atmosphäre beiträgt. Bequemes Schlafzimmer: Das Bett im Schlafzimmer ist bequem und lädt zum Entspannen ein. Gesamteindruck: Trotz kleiner Mängel haben wir unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

Wasserboiler: Der Wasserboiler könnte grösser sein, da es zu viert manchmal mühsam war, zu duschen, weil das Wasser schnell kalt wurde. Badezimmertür: Die Badezimmertür klemmt und könnte repariert werden. Küchenausstattung: Die Küche ist mit dem Nötigsten ausgestattet, hat aber nur eine Pfanne und eine Bratpfanne. Der Kochherd ist unpraktisch, da er eine Kombination aus Mikrowelle mit Backofen und zwei Kochplatten oben ist. Schlafzimmer: Der Einstieg ins Bett ist nur von einer Seite möglich, und bei jeder Bewegung gab es Geräusche, als würde das Bett auseinanderfallen. WLAN: Das WLAN war nicht immer verfügbar. Aussenbeleuchtung: Das Licht draussen konnte nicht gelöscht werden, was die Möglichkeit, die Nordlichter zu bestaunen, einschränkte. Reinigungsutensilien: Ein Besen wäre sehr hilfreich gewesen, um die Unterkunft sauber zu halten. Stockbetten: sind gross genug für Teenager, aber die Matratze hier war zu weich.

A 70 km de l aeroport vers le sud . Cottage spacieux parfait pour faire ou défaire ses valises. Lits très confortables et belles couettes.

Mysig stuga nära hav

Väldigt mysig stuga i läge med avskildhet. Närheten till den svarta stranden (någon minut med bil).

Dålig Wi-Fi-täckning i ena halvan (!) av stugan.

Gute Unterkunft für eine Nacht

Das Cottage liegt nicht sehr weit vom Strand entfernt, sodass man abends noch einen Spaziergang machen kann. Allerdings muss man dafür einen Umweg machen, da man ansonsten über den Golfplatz läuft. Die Betten waren bequem und es war sauber.

Das Geschirr war etwas knapp. Uns fehlte beispielsweise ein zweiter Topf. Auch der Bezug vom Sofa ist schon etwas mitgenommen und die Eingangstür muss leicht angehoben werden, um hineinzukommen, da sie ansonsten klemmt. Uns hat es nicht so gestört, da wir nur eine Nacht dort waren, aber die Cottages stehen in der Nähe eines Industrieparks, was bei einem längeren Aufenthalt ggf. relevant ist.

Fajny, jako przystanek w podróżowaniu

Domek zlokalizowany na obrzeżach miasteczka, łatwy odbiór kluczy poprzez skrzyneczkę na kod, w środku osobna sypialnia, kuchnia z sypialnią i pokojem dziennym i toaleta. W kuchni chociaż małej było wszystko co potrzebowaliśmy, żeby zrobić sobie jedzenie. Łazienka bardzo podstawowa, ma się wrażenie że się jest w jakimś baraku, ale wszystko działa, woda była ciepła. Udało nam się zobaczyć zorzę obok domku

nie działał nam telewizor, okolica domku jest taka sobie, w tej cenie podczas naszego pobytu byliśmy w lepszych obiektach.

Vivienda muy acogedora y agradable. Pequeña pero bien distribuida. Camas cómodas y con todo lo necesario.

Cocina incómoda pero práctica. Con lo justo para cocinar algo básico. Todo lo demás genial.

Perfect base to explore from B

Great, cozy little cabin. Comfortable beds, quiet location and very clean. If you stay here make sure you walk to the nearby beach, it's beautiful and you'll likely have it entirely for yourself.

Hot water tank is small so don't plan on having everyone shower around same time.

Lovely little cottage and a great location from which to explore the south coast and Golden Circle.

Lovely little cottage, ideal for a family of four and great as a base to explore the south coast area of Iceland. Very quiet at night and suitably far out from the town that I could imagine non-summer dark nights would offer some amazing views of the night skies. Not right on the beach itself but a short walk and there is a lovely and largely empty black beach to enjoy.

Family with 4 members had good stay (one night).

The cottage (number 2) is goid furnished and equipped. Everything we needed was available. The key hand over was super easy via key-box. We received check-in message in advance with code to get key. All was clean and tidy. The place is quiet. We had good stay there. Check out was easy and quick, while putting the key to the key-box. Thank you.

- The light in the bathroom was a bit weak. - The beds were too soft. - We missed few coat hooks.

The cabin was very cosy and everything you needed.

The road was nearby and you could hear the traffic, but it wasn't to intrusive. The cabin is set in a slightly strange place. The golf course is opposite which is fine but to one side it was slightly industrial. It was still lovely though

A place with potential

There is a unique hot plate, toaster over combination that allowed us to cook at the location. There was just enough utensils and cookware to get the job done. The cottage is stand alone so it was good for privacy. It is a decent place for 4 people if two of them are a couple. This place has real potential if they would get a larger hot water heater and adjust the doors. Having a lock box for check-in is nice so we didn't have to worry about check-in times.

It said it was a two-bedroom place but it isn't. The second bedroom is just a bunk bed next to the entrance to the bathroom. This was not ideal. Every door in the place was warped and wouldn't shut right. The bathroom door in particular wouldn't shut and the handle kept falling off. The water pressure was great and the water was hot but it ran out during a normal-length shower. Make sure to take quick showers.

This was our last accomodation in Iceland and we were very disappointed about this location: it was situated at the end of a industry terrain, on a gravel kind of parking area, near a quite busy road with NO working WIFI. Oh yes, and the description said 2 bed rooms, but it was one. The other bed were in the living room, next to the toilet/bathroom. The interior was ok, simple and clean. The small city nearby is: Þorlákshöfn, which has hardly any facilities, but it includes a grocery store. the beach is 400 meters away, but not really inviting and a bit industrial in my opinion.

Bed too small. One of us ended up sleeping on the bunk bed. Not a great use of the space. Felt cramped. To call it a beach cottage is a bit of a stretch as you cant even see rhe sea!

I want to stay there again, for longer next time.

The size of the little cabin, the cleanliness and efficiency of all within, the sound of the waves going to sleep. The deck in sunshine next morning.

Directions - I think maybe you got left mixed up with right? We turned right off main road, then left but property is then on the right. Your road signs are good but the grass has grown to cover much of them at the moment.
