Geweldige accomodatie in Bologna

Een super warme ontvangst; de familie denkt graag mee om de leukste dingen te zien en te eten in Bologna. Het is een rustige plek, net buiten het centrum. Daarnaast heeft het een heerlijk trattoria als buurvrouw. Vanuit de accomodatie kun je prachtig wandelen door de groene heuvels en met de bus ben je zo in de stad. Daarnaast was de kamer ruim met een goede douche. Het ontbijt was heerlijk en met veel liefde gemaakt (inclusief vijgen uit eigen tuin en zelfgemaakte koekjes).

Mi sono piaciuti loro molto gentili e carini

Nn mi è piaciuta la porta che nn si poteva chiudere a chiave, il letto pessimo e che cigolava nn facendoci dormire, la poca privacy, la colazione con pochissime cose.

Disappointing

The owners were very good family.They do their best.

There is Restaurant Trattio Monte Donato. İt is so close, so noisy. The night was terrible. We were not able to sleep. There was no air conditioning.

Feeling right at home in Monte Donato

What a pleasure to share Alice and Gianfranco’s space for a few days! Such a lovely family and a relaxed base for our excursions into Bologna and the surrounding hills, and so nice to have the feeling of being in a home with stories and character and not in a sterile room. Homemade jams and cake to start the days too - just great! We hope to stop by again and share more friendly conversations with this kind family! ** With bicycles you can roll down into Bologna in 5-10 minutes, or catch the hourly bus down the hill from outside the front door. If you don’t mind walking, it’s a relaxed 50 minutes to the centre of the city. Heading back home at the end of the day means going back up the hill, so it’s perhaps better if you have a car or don’t mind walking/cycling a bit. In any case, you will appreciate the quiet on the hillside and the views over the city. And if you don’t feel like heading too far away after a long day on your feet, the Trattoria next door is a reliable stop for dinner! PS, if you like music, ask about Alice Tambourine Lover ;).

The B and B was very convenient for my stay,and the owners always made sure that I felt at home.

There was plenty for breakfast and it was always nicely set out.They had English teabags which is always a good thing! I would have liked juice too but there was always fresh water.

Excellent italian feel :)

Very home feel, and they were super accommodating to our needs.

There was a dog in the property that barked a little bit. Other than that all good.

The owners are very friendly; we have to reach the station and Gianfranco took us with his car.

The connection with the city center is a bus which goes every hour.
