Une adresse d’exception.

Le professionnalisme du personnel et sa gentillesse. Par exemple : Lucas nous a guidées par téléphone et a pris de son temps pour nous envoyer par texto et courriels les informations relatives aux trajets, arrêts de bus. Grâce à cette aide initiale personnalisée, nous avons pu les jours suivants nous rendre aisément aux différentes étapes du colloque. Merci beaucoup !

Chambre spacieuse, moderne, insonorisation parfaite. Belle vue. Magnifique buffet de petit déjeuner. Très bon restaurant avec une belle carte et des activités pour les enfants. Parc avec des animaux dans le domaine.

Tranquil Refuge, in the Footsteps of the Jesuits

The hotel is located on top of a hill on large grounds. It has a modernized interior and is kept spotlessly clean up to its very last corner. One still feels the Jesuit heritage; in fact, the order still owns the premises, but exploitation rights have been transferred to a social enterprise in Fribourg who also uses the place for seminars and to help people in difficulties. This secularization of purpose is also the reason the original "Notre-Dame de la route" was dropped from the name. I very much enjoyed the tranquility and peace that the compound exudes. There are no frills, but everything there is works to perfection. The continental breakfast is excellent, very fresh, on a wonderfully presented buffet. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended; the hotel is within walking distance to the sports center.

The on-premise restaurant is closed during the weekend, and walking to the recommended (very average) restaurant takes about 15 minutes along a busy road. At the time of writing, the place is listed as "Domaine Notre-Dame de la Route Swiss Lodge" on Google maps, and locals still know it as "Notre-Dame de la route," just in case you need to ask for directions.

Sehr ruhige Lage trotz naheliegenden Einkaufszentren

Sehr ruhige Lage, etwas abgelegen, mit Bus gut erreichbar.Sehr effizientes Management. Nur das Nötigste im Zimmer: komfortables Bett, Bad, WC. Sehr sauber. Schöne Aussicht auf Alpen.

Im Schlafzimmer fehlt ein Spiegel. Möglicherweise ist das gewollt. Aber Damen würden das schätzen.

Perfect and relaxing experience

Location: La Domaine is situated in a perfect place, which is an excellent combination of urban living and nature. There are some animals nearby, which makes Swiss Lodge very special. Facilities: The property offers free parking, modern and spotless rooms including comfortable beds and pillows, great view from the rooms and restaurant. Stuff: friendly and smiling

Great accommodation, good value for money

The property has a stunning garden, everything is so green and peaceful. Parking spot available brings a plus.

We did not had air conditioning. The breakfast was good but not many options, absolutely no vegetables, I think the effort to add some is minimal.
