About this house rental

Situated at Kooringal on the quiet Southern end of Moreton Island, this is the perfect place for a beachside getaway for the family. Neat as a pin modern comfortable house with verandahs for cooking and relaxing. This house is a minutes walk to some of Moretons most beautiful and secluded beaches.
The local shop can provide most basics and serves meals on weekends.
Three bedrooms provide accomodation for up to eight people in comfort. The house is fully self contained and has plenty of solar power.

Please note, pillows and doonas are provided. Sheets and towels are NOT provided, please bring your own.

Bedroom 1. Queen bed

Bedroom 2. Two single beds, can be pushed together if required.

Bedroom 3. Two double bunks can sleep four.

As there are no sealed roads you will need a 4WD. A barge runs to the Island from Brisbane to Tangalooma. See the MI Cat website for details.

Excellent accommodation option at Kooringal. Beautiful spot at the quiet end of the island. Easy access to the surf beach with the added bonus of the protected inside beach. First class accommodation.

The perfect spot on moreton to relax and chill out, close to the gutter bar and a few hidden beach spots within an easy 4x4 trip away. Be prepared for the heat and midges in summer though, plenty of bug spray and cold beers are a must! The host was perfect and relaxed with the easiest checkin of any booking on stayz or other sites ever! Gonna miss moreton!!

Excellent location. Nice spacious clean property. John is amazing and prompt with responses to any enquiries. Bit if a cockroach problem could use a spray, however not surprising in hot Qld, and the door didn’t lock which wasn’t much of a concern as the township seemed very safe and friendly. Excellent chill holiday vibe. Loved it.

We loved our stay here - a Christmas to remember! Kooringal is so peaceful. Very clean beach house with lovely deck catching breezes and overlooking beautiful gardens. It had everything we needed. Large fridge, all the items we needed for cooking on the stovetop and bbq. Very short walk to the beach and Gutter Bar. Pedestal fans in the bedrooms were appreciated. We will be back!

Been to Moreton a few times now and like staying down in Koringal it’s a nice quiet spot away from most of the activity on the island but not far to travel up the east or west coast. The house is clean and tidy and easy to keep that way. We will definitely be back there again as soon.

Had a great family holiday. The house is clean, comfortable and had a well equiped kitchen ( although- no oven). It says no linen provided, but there were pillow slips and duvet covers provided. Only need to bring fitted sheets. Cleaning products supplied. Thanks for a great stay.

We have a lovely stay here in Kooringal. The house Is perfect for a small group, all amenities clean and accessible. John our host was easy to communicate with and very responsive. The community has a wonderful feel, house is close to the water and local bar. 😀
