LOCATION:

Location, location, location! You won’t find better than this!

The apartment is in trendy Fitzrovia, in the heart of the West End, a super central location with a villagey feel and Georgian architecture. The area was once home to such writers as Virginia Woolf, George Bernard Shaw and Arthur Rimbaud. Today it is a popular and lively neighbourhood with a residential and business mix. The numerous media companies based in the area feed into a trendy and vibrant buzz.

You won't get bored in the immediate vicinity. We have heaps of bars, restaurants, supermarkets and great transport links a few minutes away in Tottenham Court Road / Charlotte Street. There's some beautiful Georgian architecture in the area such as Fitzroy Square, a pedestrianised garden square. The gardens are open during the summer. It's a step from the apartment.

There is a good range of shops nearby and a huge choice of delicious restaurants and bars. Tourist London is easily accessible on foot or by tube. Several supermarkets are close by (including a good Sainsburys, Tescos, Marks and Spencers Food Hall and Waitrose).

GETTING AROUND:

Warren Street, Goodge Street and Euston Square tubes stations are within a 5 minute walk. Tottenham Court Road and St Pancras are within 10 minutes.

Being so central though, you can walk to all of tourist London. The British Museum is 10 minutes away. You've got Oxford Street / Soho very close by (a 10 minute walk), Covent Garden will take you about 15 minutes, Regent's Park about 10-15 minutes. Camden is a 5 minute bus ride. You can head in any direction and arrive somewhere interesting.

This property had a great location in central London so a short tube ride to most attractions, was reasonably clean, and the property manager is great. The balcony was a plus. Please note you need to bring your own toilet paper! Liz was very responsive and gave us a Deliveroo credit to buy supplies when we were surprised to not find more than half a roll in the apartment. Great place to stay!

Liz a great host. She described everything very accurately. It was enough space for three of us. The most important that the place close to everything. You can use underground ( it’s 5 minutes walk) or 15 minutes walk to British Museum .

Loved the apartment! Liz was very helpful and easy to reach. The balcony was a great place to hang out after a long day sight-seeing. Lots of fantastic restaurants just down the street on Charlotte Street. Several metro stations near by to catch different lines around London. Highly recommend it!

The location is great: lively but not rowdy, less than a mile to the theatre district, a great park, many supermarkets, the end point for the Eurostar/Chunnel, and much more. We enjoyed sunsets on the terrace and delicious food from the well equipped kitchen. Comfortable bed (double/full in American speak), excellent hot water, plenty of towels--and the heated towel rack meant they were always dry. Well thought out furniture, including nesting tables that we could move to where we wanted. Minor plus: the BT tower made navigating back easy. At the end of the day and tired, well, it's really nice being certain that you're going the right way. Minor drawbacks: it took us some work to figure out the washer/dryer. The paper instructions are in the bottom drawer. The BT tower construction dominated the view and was not as spectacular as around it.

I wish I could give 10 stars for communication as Liz was fantastic responding to our enquires prior to and during our stay. This apartment is superbly located in the Fitzrovia neighborhood, real close to excellent restaurants, to the bus stops and to tube stations. We love taking the bus most of the time when travelling within the west end and the TFL Go app is easy to use. The apartment was as described, with excellent kitchen utensils and easy to use appliances. Having the patio to check out the outdoors in the morning was great and watching folks navigate a nearby intersection without stop signs was entertaining I must say. I will not hesitate to rent from Liz again, she is top class and excellent to communicate with. 5 stars all the way !!!!!
