Couldn't beat being right on the water. The house was comfortable, clean and quiet.

Pictures are deceiving- needs some TLC, but the location is beyond amazing! The king size bed upstairs needs to be replaced with a GOOD mattress- other 2 beds were fine! Also, screen on slider needs replacing- alot of windows did not have screens- we scrounged around and found some in closets, so we were able to put them in place!
5.0
Good but outside area - deck - table etc needs updating.

Pros:
Excellent location. Lots of room inside. Short walk to 2 public beaches, a cool breakfast place, bars, ice cream shops, etc. Upstairs master bedroom and bathroom are enormous, downstairs bedrooms are small but serviceable. Second floor walkout deck. Plenty of seating inside and out. Amazing view from inside and outside. Direct access to semiprivate beach. Well equipped kitchen. Responsive host.
Cons:
Immediate surrounding area is very crowded, so not very private outside. Limited parking. House needs some work, particularly accessibility and safety. Dennisport beaches like a lot of the Sound beaches tend to be a little seaweedy and rocky.
All in all, definitely worth it and we enjoyed our stay!

Had a wonderful time. Grandson loved the beach area to run and play. He loved chasing the waves. Great access to shopping, restaurants, etc. If you love early morning runs, walks, or biking, it is a great area. The Cape Rail Trail Access is not far from the house. Definitely would return to this beauty.

We enjoyed the location immensely. The interior (furnishings & decor) is dated, but has a kind of funky retro charm. Owner was incredibly responsive when we asked about an umbrella over the outside picnic table; when she confirmed that the old one had somehow vanished, she bought and installed a brand new one right away. Outdoor patio furniture was also clearly new (responding to last year’s critiques probably). Basement washer & dryer work well.

very nice

Property was lovely as advertised. Oceanfront, clean, spacious. Nothing beats hearing the crashing waves at night on the upstairs bedroom patio. Highly recommended!

We just spent four days and had a wonderful time. Pet friendly is the only reason we were able to take this vacation. It was too cold to do more than walk on the beach, but there are new stairs down to the water from the shared boardwalk. It was chilly, so we spent most of our time indoors just loving the view. The balcony off the master bedroom was perfect for relaxing with a book. Will definitely be going back.

The home was more than expected with beautiful views, convenient location, and was well stocked. Would love to return.

The house was perfect for dogs. The beach and new steps to the beach were very nice. Lovely view. The house and property need some TLC. Lawn chairs were rusted and one plastic one was cracked, chipping paint, broken window blinds, toys and debris scattered in yard and caught on bushes. The outdoor torches on ground are all broken and non-working. I know it is early in the season and I picked up as much as I could reach. It was chilly and it took awhile to heat up, as some of the rooms are space heaters. Otherwise, house was comfortable and beach was lovely. loved the dog biscuits!! I do not understand about washing and drying all towels before leaving. I do understand having towels started in washer (that is what we require for our rental unit), but to dry them and put them all away. That is difficult with a 11 am checkout time.

My family and I spent a week in this cottage and we were delighted by the ocean views. The house has so many windows and the sun was shining through all week. We loved our stay. Pet friendly was a plus!

The location and view were fabulous. The house was very comfortable and cozy. The outside property could stand some love. As an aside the description mentions 3 streps to access the house but in reality there are 7 steps total from the parking area.
4.0
The house is comfortable and cozy. It is located close to the highway and local restaurants. The view is phenomenal for sunrise and sunset. The only downfall we noticed was that the screen door should be replaced.
5.0
Comfortable, cozy beach cottage. Well stocked with all the necessary supplies, and absolutely incredible views. Able to see both sunrises and sunsets. Easy access to the restaurants, shops and the rest of the Cape.

What a happy peaceful stay! The place was so cozy and comfy. And the view was just so amazingly beautiful.
We would definitely love to return!

My wife and I really loved viewing the water and recharging. Location was very central to anywhere we wanted to get to on the Cape from P-Town to Falmouth. Highly recommend.

Truly relaxing and great location !

Comfortable, clean, cozy, roomy and the best location! A great place to unwind and relax, right on the beach. Convenient to dining and shopping, yet away from it all. Great spot.

This was just what we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The master bedroom and bathroom are giant. The porch off the second floor allows for beautiful views of the ocean. The front yard access to the beach is the best part of this experience. You can tell that the owner cares a lot about this gorgeous property. We would love to visit again.

We had a wonderful stay at the beach house. The view is magnificent and we had fun watching the harbor seals each morning and afternoon swim by the cottage. Unfortunately my sister in law could not manage the long steep staircase down to the beach but she did enjoy sitting in the small sitting area by the back door. The house was very comfortable for for the four of us and we enjoyed our stay.

Stayed Memorial day weekend. House is in great condition, well appointed with a fabulous view. Watched seals from the deck had a wonderful stay

The view was fabulous from most rooms of the house. There were extras like, tea, sugar, batteries, foil, etc. We were able to walk to several places such as Sundae School. The outside deck wasn’t in good shape with several of the floor boards curled up and loose.

Fabulous veiw, great accommodations. Definitely would book again

Beautiful view from the cottage. We had fun watching harbor seals swim by each morning. The stairs to the beach are long and steep so it did limit my sister in law from going to the beach area but she thoroughly enjoyed the upper sitting area in the back yard. We had a great relaxing time.

We had the most relaxing time. Listening to the waves looking out across the water. Stars at night were amazing. We will be back!

We had a lovely time here. Stress free and relaxing. The upper porch is my happy place. We will be back.

My family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teens) stayed at this property and had an amazing time. The view is spectacular, and we had a nice breeze coming off the ocean. The house is comfortable and had everything we needed. Lots of restaurants nearby and an easy drive to Chatham for shopping and seal-watching. Thanks for a great stay.

The house location is great but …..
The house is run down, broken chairs, old outdoor furniture not thrown away ripped screens etc. it really is sad because we certainly pay enough for 6 days. A few refreshes would go a long way. There are other houses nicer for less. Shows little care for your renters.

Dead ants all over the kitchen
1.0
caveat emptor
caveat emptor
What was once It a charming little house with the most magnificent ocean view is now, sadly, quite rundown and over run.
The kitchen iappliances are rusting & falling apart.
A number of the screens need attention; either broken or missing.
The path to the front of the house was overgrown and it was difficult getting by with our luggage.
The house is infested with ants.
Rust was everywhere.
The refrigeration, the stove; rust. The living room a/c window vent is hanging on by one rusty screw, the outdoor metal framed chairs are all rusted, an old BBQ grill and old broken chairs litter the side of the deck giving it a junkyard look & feel. The four garbage pails are garage themselves with only one lid amongst them. The paths to the house and to the beach have those solar charging lights and not one of them is working. There is no lighting on the side of the house by the garbage pails. The chair in the master bathroom has a broken leg. The small table by the sofa in the dining area looks to be coming apart.
The closets could use dehumidifier bags hung to counter the mustiness. In the Master Bedroom there is one window and the door leading to the porch without blinds or shades letting in the sunlight at dawn. In the master bath the window facing the street has no blind or shade and it looks straight across to the balcony on the second floor. I can see the people sitting on the balcony so they an surely see me.
The sofas upstairs and down need to be cleaned and actually replaced since they are so old & worn that you sink uncomfortably into them. The walls need to be painted.
I do feel we were misled. The house photographs are beautiful; so much so that the disappointment when we arrived to spend two weeks in this ‘run down’ property was overwhelming. If not for Covid I would have left immediately and demanded our money back but our options were not just limited but virtually no existent.
We were misled and our vacation on Cape Cod has been one of battling ants and rust and the smell of must permeating everything.

Great vacation spot, could use some TLC
Our family of 4 had a great time at Sea Watch. Direct access to the beach is wonderful. The property could use some TLC but that didn't take much away from our enjoyment of the vacation.

Weekend Stay at Beach House in Dennis, MA
Property has a beautiful ocean view and access to a small beach. It also worked well with our two little dogs for walks and space to move around.
Unfortunately, the house is out dated, furnishings old and tired , with poor housekeeping. Most disappointing was the bed in the master bedroom which was old, had a yellowed/dirty foam pad on top and was very uncomfortable. The beds in the other two bedrooms were worse.
Two basics for accommodations for travelers are a good bed and up-to-date bathroom/towels. At a premium rate/night in the off season, we expected a very different experience. We would not recommend this property or return in the future.

Comfortable and relaxing
House set up perfectly for comfort couldn't be more accommodating. Only problem is parking can be tricky getting out of driveway but does not take away from property overall
