About this chalet rental
Boulder Ridge is the perfect mountain retreat nestled in the southern Adirondack mountains surrounded by nature, while being just 5 miles from Lake George Village. This chalet log home offers plenty of rustic charm, privacy, breathtaking views of the Adirondack high peeks, and plenty of space for entertainment and family gatherings. The house accommodates 12 guests, offering 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms with additional sleeping in the loft and the furnished basement. The master bedroom has a private en-suite with a jacuzzi tub and stand up shower. The other 2 bedrooms, offer a full sized bed and a set of bunk beds in one, and a queen sized bed and a full in the other.
The Chalet features a gourmet kitchen, with Viking stainless steel appliances, Corian countertop, hickory cabinets, and imported blue flagstone flooring. The great room boasts a floor to ceiling wood burning river rock fireplace, vaulted ceilings, floor to ceiling windows, and oak flooring throughout.
The finished basement offers a family or recreation area which includes, a slate top pool table, foosball table, large TV for gaming with seating, assorted board games and additional sleeping options, a full length couch and a set of bunkbeds. There is also a new large capacity Samsung washer and dryer set available for guests to use during their stay.
Boulder Ridge is a mountain estate encompassing 61 private acres of mountainous forests full of hiking/ATV trails, wildlife, and spectacular Mountain Views. The house features a large rap-around deck on 3 sides, one of which is a covered porch. On the deck is a BBQ grill, a picnic table and additional seating for outdoor entertainment and dining. In the side yard there is a large fire pit for roasting marshmallows with the kids and evening entertainment for adults.
Guns and hunting are not allowed on the premises without the express written permission of the owner!
We welcome all snowmobile and winter sport enthusiasts. Our property is large enough to accommodate snowmobile trailers of all sizes. The Warren County snowmobile trails are a short ride from the property. You can access Lake George Village from these trails. Trail maps will be provided. [A signed liability waiver is required, and will be provided]. Boulder Ridge is approximately 20 minutes from Gore and West Mountain Ski Centers, and only 10 minutes to Hickory Hill Ski Center. The property is 10 minutes from the Village of Lake George, and approximately 35 minutes to Saratoga Springs Performing Arts Center, the Saratoga casino and race tracks. Great Escape Amusement park and Splash Water Kingdom is a short 15 minute ride.
During the winter months 4x4 or all-wheel drive vehicles are required to access the house, given that the terrain is mountainous.
We offer a 10% discount for booking 7 nights or more.

This is by far one of the best VRBO's we stayed in. Kendall the host is wonderful. She met us at the house at check in and briefed us on the amenities and off she went. Kendall is a gem! The house deep in the middle of the woods is so clean... immaculate!! Very spacious, comfortable beds and living area. Equipped with everything you need (except food of course). The game room was a bonus and was a hit for the whole family. The Village of Lake George is a very short driving distance with great places to eat, shop, rent boats, power sail and site see. If you want R&R this is the place to go to.

House is lovely, very comfortable and really suited to a large group. Lots of room, spacious cooking area. 3 full bathrooms. It’s set deep into woods, so there really isn’t a path for walking/hiking. Great sunsets. The owner came to the house when I saw a smoke detector had been tampered with, and she came and installed a new one right away. Close to everything!

Spent 4 nights at Kendall’s property with my wife and daughter along with my brother and his wife and children. This place is a great place to unwind with a sizable group! Very secluded log cabin home, but still just minutes off of I-87 and 10 minutes from Lake George Village.
Wonderful views and sunsets over the Adirondacks. Fire pit to the side of the house got good usage. Very comfortable beds. Open kitchen/dining room/living room area.
Kendall was a very responsive host that responded to my couple of questions during our stay within minutes. Highly recommend!

Stayed the weekend in early June for a rafting trip with some buddies. This house is an absolute gem.
Rustic vibes, secluded property, killer views, fire pit... it really captures all the authentic mountain lodge feels. The first level is great for gathering and we really got a kick out of the strategically arranged decor.
After returning from the river, we dried off proper by the fire pit. Just make sure to bring some spare wood! Our time was unforgettable - we might have to make this rafting trip an annual retreat!

What a great weekend we had with family and some of my sons friends! The house was amazing with the best views EVER! There was plenty of room for everyone, the kitchen was well stocked and the basement had lots of games to entertain the kids! And Kendall was definitely a Super Host! She answered all of my questions prior to and during our stay very promptly and even brought us extra wood and a lighter for the fireplace! If we ever come back to Lake George, we will definitely be staying here again!

The place was gorgeous and very welcoming. We will definitely return/recommend this place to family and friends. The only thing was the road to access the property, it was really dark. Other than that we had a great time. Thanks so much.

This property was excellent and exactly as described! Convenient to Lake George and about 30 minutes from Saratoga, made for a great weekend of fun golfing, at the track, or enjoying all the area has to offer. The view from the deck was spectacular each morning. Great place for a family or group of friends to enjoy!

The house was exactly as pictured. There are plenty of beds in the house and the basement was perfect for hanging out and playing games. Kendall was easy to get in contact with and answered any questions we had. The only draw-back is that the house is located about a half mile up a steep dirt road so some in my group that were driving older sedans were a bit worried getting in and out, especially after it rained. Other than that, the house was perfect!

We truly loved everything about this house. We really enjoyed our stay. It fully equipped with anything you need. We loved the game room all the rooms. So clean….we loved the authentic feeling about this house. We loved the wrap around deck. It rain on our stay but we love that their a deck that we enjoyed using to cook out without getting rain on. We will come back again.

Beautiful property in LakeGeorge with gorgeous views. Property was great for spending time with extended family. The sleeping accommodations and spacious areas like the loft and game room offered a perfect mix for guests of all ages. Kendall and her family were extremely accommodating. :)

House and location were amazing. Views were breathtaking. Convenient to lake george village and surrounding areas as well as ski resorts. This house is a real gem for anyone looking to stay in the Adirondacks and have that ADK cabin feel.

My friends and I could not have picked a better place for our weekend/boys/golf trip. This house was better than the pictures indicated. The open concept kitchen/living room was bigger than we thought it would be, which was perfect since there were eight of us. And the view off of the wraparound deck was better than expected. If we were coming back here for a trip again next summer, we would absolutely book this place again. Five stars!

Nice Big clean house. Beautiful view of the mountains off the front porch. The driveway is a huge long dirt road so you will be able to get a taxi or uber. We managed an had a great time.

Amazing property and host
The house really showcases itself. It's so magnificent, especially seeing it for the first time coming up the driveway. The initial impression of the inside is equally stunning. The knotty pine and decor embodies the Adirondack spirit. Nine of us had lots of elbow room (with small exception of upstairs shower...lol). Sitting on the deck is so peaceful, and the view is wonderful.
Our host Kendall is wonderful as well. She was available and responsive to even the smallest matters. She gave us a sense that we were in good hands, making our stay that much more relaxing.
We're already kooking forward to our next stay here.

Perfect view
We loved the location and views this property offered. Quiet and secluded but very close to town and any necessities, as well as the lake and attractions. Property owner was prompt with communication and great to work with. Everything was as advertised and had more than enough of everything we could have wanted. Was a perfect vacation spot.
