The property was close to Sponge Docks and downtown Tarpon Springs. Easy access to shops and dining.

Perfect location, great host returned phone calls.walking distance to sponge docks.very nice fenced in yard for furry friends.

The house was big enough for the 9 of us. It is an older home and has some challenges, but the location is great. The cleaning crew was rushed because of the renters before us did not leave on time, but wasn't anything that would prevent you from having a pleasant stay. The price was more than fair for the size and location of the home.

The house is quite charming and located in a great spot for getting to the beach (Honeymoon recommend) and attractions in Tarpon as a whole. However being located on 19 alt. Means road noise day and night. Simetimes quite incredible. We did experience roaches toward the end of the week but that is obviously correctable. Because if the major noise factor I cannot recommend this property.

The property had one bedroom on the1st floor, descripition had 3 bedrooms on the first floor (we are aged seniors). The descripitions stated there was a firepit there was not, firepit was to allow us gents to smoke outside; as this is a non smoking property. Property amenities were over sold at best. It is a quaint little historial southern home that has been nicely upgrade; good place to sleep.

Great house, great location

House totally redone, very good job. Location in Tarpon Springs is good, near downtown and docks, close to Pinellas Trail for biking, big plus for us. House was clean, above average, Good parking and safe place to store our bikes. Major negative is traffic noise from Pinellas Ave, 24/7, very noisy. House needs a bit of TLC, kitchen cabinet drawers, refrigerator, stove top need attention. Two smoke detectors are not functioning, management informed after 4th day, promised to replace but never happened.

Had a great stay! Even with 10 people, we still had a lot of room. On kind of a busy corner, but was very quiet inside and so close to downtown. Well stocked and nice place, everyone was happy! Would definitely stay here again.

We needed lots of beds so worked well for us

Overall everything was very nice. Regarding items that management could improve...
-There was nothing that I read in all of the instructions and details that contained the lock password (to get into the house). It was very stressful getting there and not being able to get in. Please highlight clearly somewhere/anywhere the lock code!! (If it was somewhere, please make it easier to find.)
-The WiFi information listed in the description was not accurate/did not work. We had to search the house for a password, and even that we had to decipher.
-A little cleaner. All in all everything was nice however one of the blankets smelled, the dishes and cupboards are do for a deep clean. Again however, everything else was nice, and we had a good time.

A lovely home! Lots of comfortable rooms and beds to accommodate a few families. Great restaurants and shops within walking distance. Very nice backyard for playing games with the kids. Convenient off street parking.
Thanks to George and Chas for providing this "home away from home"!

Nice House in Tarpon Springs which gets you close to the Downtown area and the Docks.

We absolutely loved the home- ice maker didn't work, but no other complaints- went to the sponge dock- eat at the restaurant there- if you're looking for fresh fish, that's the place to go. Eat Greek food that was great too- did some shopping- sitting on front porch watching the passer by's- just an all out great time-even being on main street and busy traffic it was great.

Positives
• It’s a charming 1900’s house
• Bathrooms were very nicely updated as was the kitchen. Flooring was very well done, including on the decks.
• The backyard was spacious, gorgeous, and very well fenced.
• Parkin on the back/side accommodated four cars.
• The mudroom was fantastic and the three bikes supplied looked to be in great shape.
• Bed linens and towels were ample, fresh, and first-rate.
• We had no problem with street noise. The location could not have been more centrally located.
Negatives
• Lower A/C unit didn’t work on move-in, meaning we had to move family reunion activities to my cousin’s house for three days, and two other cousins were pretty miserable for the first few nights sleeping downstairs.
• The management company never responded to a text regarding A/C, and VRBO was down the next day. Once we connected with the owners, however, they had a maintenance company on the site very quickly. I think the owne’s are looking for a new management company.
• No icemaker in the Frig.
• For as nice as the kitchen was, the cooking utensils left a bit to be desired (serving dishes were fine).
• The “house book” was a bit skimpy. I’d have loved to see more of a write-up about the house’s history and maybe a few guides for emergency’s (water cut-off, fuse-panel, etc.)
In general, I’d give this house a 5/5. My negatives are nits compared to how awesome the house is, and I have confidence in the owners to take my comments at face value.

What an awesome house. Everything he said was true in the description.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house is a great size and layout for families with plenty of room to spread out. The kitchens and bathrooms are spacious and the location is fantastic. You can hear a little street noise, but nothing crazy that kept us up at night. You can walk to so much- restaurants, bars, the docks. The house also had plenty of beach chairs and bikes. The things that kept this from being 5 stars- broken cabinet and ice maker in the kitchen, only 1 wine glass (we bought a few and left them behind to pay it forward), no hooks for the towels in the bathrooms or mirrors in the bedrooms. The towels and sheets could use an upgrade, and while the kitchen and bathrooms were clean and the house was dust free, the floors could use a scrub/deep clean.

Beautifully remodeled home. I believe I read it was built in the early 1900’s. Very centrally located with covered parking. We walked to the sponge docks! The historic section is even closer with great shopping and restaurants. Definitely recommend!

House has good space. Beds and baths worked for our group. Busy road made it hard to sleep in but good overall value for the price

We had family fly in from all over the country for Christmas! It was wonder to have us all under one roof. The space and location were perfect. No issues with noise. It's a lovely old house..the owners have done a great job with remodeling. Still some minor issues with broken kitchen drawers that fall out, and some water pressure issues, some squeaky beds, but nothing major. Would definitely stay here again!

This house was wonderful for our needs. We had family fly in from different states to celebrate my father-in-law’s 90th birthday. The home is absolutely beautiful and accommodated all of our needs.

I adore old homes!! This one is no exception.. the size , the bedrooms and bathrooms are perfect for a large family!! We had a group of 9 and everyone had their own room..
We had a hiccup in the checkin process, but the owner was finally contacted and assisted..
The location puts you right in the middle of everything, it is so convenient... we walked everywhere!!

Beautiful home that has been restored. Plenty of room for a large group. Very convenient as far as walking to local attractions. As mentioned before, house is on the road, so bedroom facing road has traffic noise all night long. Also there are little to no extra niceties, so you will need to buy or bring those. Overall great experience.

To start with we were not given the access code to enter the house. We called the phone number given and were told they no longer managed the property but would have new management company contact us. Someone did get back with number pretty fast but it was concerning as we were at the door. Two of the three bathrooms had plumbing issues. We were told the plumber would be there the next day. NEVER HAPPENED. Email that we received the day before arrival also had the incorrect wi-fi. However the correct one was in other info at the house. House was clean and mostly renovated. Kitchen still needs work as cabinet drawers fall apart and ice/water at frig needs hooked up. House was within walking distance to docks and other restaurants which was nice Owner said he would refund $200 because of the inconveniences. NEVER HAPPENED. We would not stay here again.

A great spot for a group of guys on a golf trip. Not far from Innisbrook and within walking distance to many restaurants and bars!
4.0
Plenty of room for everyone, but no dishwasher. The master bedroom is upstairs, that could be important to someone who can’t climb stairs. All the bedrooms are upstairs except one with bunk beds. Good location but a very busy and noisy area. The fence is not attached to the house, you have to walk across the carport to get to the fenced in yard. It is a nice big fenced yard but you can’t just open the door and let the kids or dogs out. All in all big house and plenty of room

Good location with ability to walk to shops, restaurants, and attractions. A bit load at night with the road noise.

Our stay was wonderful! The house met all of our needs, we had 9 adults and 1 infant, the 5 bedrooms and 3 baths was just right. There is so much that is in walking distance that we hardly had to use our rental car.
I will say the house is on a well traveled road so sound machines came in very handy for my family. We had an infant and then 3 of the guests live on the west coast so they all had sound machines and it really helped with the traffic noise for sleeping. It didn't bother some of us at all.

The location was great. Within walking distance of the Sponge Docks and great restaurants. Take what you need with you, as no soap/shampoo was provided and other supplies were very limited. When I called the customer service number provided in the listing upon arrival, I was told that they no longer managed the property. Everything turned out okay and we had an enjoyable stay.

Perfect Family Vacation!
This property was perfect. looked exactly like the pictures, even better than expected. Perfect setting for hosting a baby shower. Very clean close to everything everyone wanted to do. Host was very responsive. Would definitely stay again!

Wedding
We stayed here for 3 nights for my sons wedding at the 1910 house that was only 2 blocks away. The beds were comfortable and towels were well stocked. Our only complaint was we couldn't use the frying pans as they were old and chipped. Very close to little shops and restaurants, you can arrive park your car and walk

Great property
Great location. Our family of 7 was extremely happy with our stay and you could honestly sleep 16 if you had a few air matresses. From previous reviews I was concerned about the street noise but it was extremely minor and only the front bedroom off the top deck. Mainly idiots exceeded the speed limit after hours and a few commercial trucks speeding. The a/c is amazing being we traveled with the heat index over 100. Thanks for a great stay!

Tarpon Springs House
Beautiful historical home that has been tastefully updated to be cozy and simple for most every family. You are right in the middle of the action in Tarpon Springs sitting right on Pinellas street. Easy access to the sponge docks, restaurants, shops, bike rides, and beaches. We had a great stay and hope to come back again soon!

Beautiful home
Beautiful home with nice updates. The seating outside and decks were perfect for enjoying the breeze and people watching. The street is very busy with cars as it’s a main road and there is lots of activity in the streets but it made for good people watching. Location was close to restaurants and nearby beaches. Overall the cleanliness could have been a bit better. Not all of the sheets were cleaned before our arrival. However I would not take that away from the overall experience and would definitely recommend and stay at this location again.
