How to get here

Only 15 minutes off the Sydney-Newcastle Freeway at Kilaben Bay, near Toronto, and only 1 hour north of Sydney. Take the Toronto exit, and continue along this road for approximately 10 minutes to arrive at the main street of Toronto (The Boulevarde). Drive through the town and take a right at the end of The Boulevarde. Take the second right turn (into Jarret Street) and follow the road to Kilaben Park, which is facing the lake. Turn left into Kilaben Road. Head up the hill, and Number 72 is on your right. Drive down the long driveway and park behind our house next to the tennis court on your right.

Fassifern Train Station, a short drive(10min) from Toronto, for easy access from the Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne train lines. Connecting buses await at Fassifern Train Station to drive you to Toronto. Taxi rank in main street.

My partner and I just spent the weekend at The Loft and could not fault the location, amenities or the wonderful hospitality shown by Gina. We enjoy many weekends away, from overnight hikes to 5 star hotels, and we prefer this to a 5 star hotel in the city anytime. First of all, Gina's property is immaculate - well maintained, secure, and well appointed. The Loft itself is gorgeous - plenty of room for 2 people, comfy bed, well equpped kitchen, stunning bathroom, different eating areas, both inside and out. There is a huge deck with private spa which was lovely to relax in under the night sky. There is a jetty for fishing, or swimming if you are braver than us. We decided at the last minute not to take our kayak but wish we had.... it would have been so easy to launch it from the jetty. Gina is very generous in her provision of breaky supplies, snacks, wine and choccies. She also provided us with lots of local info - good cafes/restaurants, nice walks etc. Even though we had a lot of rain during our stay we were still able to enjoy our surroundings. We highly recommend The Loft for any couple wanting a luxury getaway. We will definitely book again in Winter for a different experience again (and so we can enjoy the indoor wood fire!)

Perfect property, excelled expectations! The host could not of been more friendly and was more than happy to help, communication was perfect, all while giving us the the utmost privacy. Great views, close to all amenities, walks and a quick easy drive to all the Hunter Valley has to offer, gated access, A1, we will certainly return to this property and recommen it to all! Thanks again for a perfect stay!

Stunning property, magnificent views, spotlessly clean (even the towels were perfection) our host Gina was friendly & went out of her way to spoil us, loved having breakfast outside watching the birds & boats. Beautiful big spa too. We are already planning our next trip to The Loft

What an amazing piece of heaven Gina has created!🌴🌺 You can really feel the serenity😌 The Loft is equipped with everything you need to make a home away from home. Bubbly and chocolates upon arrival was a nice suprise! Weather was kind to us, we had sunny days to celebrate O's birthday!! We went fishing off our jetty..took nature walks, had BBQ, enjoyed the hot tub and glorious fireplace!!🔥 Truly an escape to remember 💕 A big thank you to our host Gina for making our stay special..we will definately return😄 #TheLoft

The Loft is a beautiful location for alone time with your partner and to personally relax and recharge with the comforts of home and a stunning view. Gina is a lovely and generous host. There is a great amount of attention to detail and the fine touches add up to a very comfortable and memorable stay. Gina made our wedding anniversary stay at The Loft incredibly special.

Gina makes you feel so welcome from the start. Her personalised touches are just perfect with a bottle of wine and chocolate on arrival. The Loft is cosy and just perfect for a couple wanting a getaway. Unfortunately the weather wasn't very kind to us to get the benefit of using the hot tub more than once but it was lovely when we did. We highly recommend this beautiful spot on Lake Macquarie and can not speak more highly of Gina.

One of the best Airbnb's we have ever stayed at - Stunning view, super clean, awesome deck & hot tub, kitchen well stocked (inc heaps of fresh brekkie stuff) & host was incredibly nice - Even presented us with choccies & bubbles on ice on arrival! As title suggests, this is our second visit to "The Loft" located on Kilaben Bay. A most wonderful welcome on arrival from Gena our host, along with a nice bottle of wine on ice. The accommodation remains at its usual impeccable high standard. Lazy days were had on the balcony watching the world go by, sheltered from the odd rainy day. This did not detract from the most beautiful setting. The only question is... do we make it three visits (quite possibly)?

So glad I found this little Gem! Had everything I needed for a short little, Birthday getaway with my husband. Gina was such a great host! Greeted us on arrival, showed us around then left us to be. She provided us with Breakfast, bubbles and fruit which I thought was such a lovely touch. It rained alittle while we were there, but that didn't stop us from making use of the hot tub, It was actually quite nice! Overall the whole loft was fantastic, nice quiet location on the water, comfy bed, awesome fireplace, bbq and just everything we needed for our short trip. Thank you for having us in your beautiful Loft.

This was our accommodation for our elopement and we have to say there are simply NO regrets! The loft itself was amazing, photos simply do not do it justice! Cannot rate this highly enough. The place was amazing, looked out over the lake, everything was beautiful. It was the little things done by the host that made it the perfect stay. The spa was already on and warm when we got there. The host left breakfast in the fridge for us and also brought us bubbles and chocolate when we arrived. I would give 6 stars if I could.

We are known as the lovebirds, hence we book many romantic getaways. The Loft is now our favourite. The privacy at the lake mad us feel like we were on a deserted island, but it was a lake that we loved. Gina greeted us with sparkling wine, chocolates and strawberries. The perfect way to be the lovebirds we are. The wood fire ignited our passion. The spa overlooking the lake ignited our passion even more. The LOFT is wow, wow ,wow! We will be back.
