About this house rental
Come for a relaxing getaway at Camden Cottage in Old Orchard Beach, Maine! This charming single family home in a quiet residential neighborhood is a short 7-minute walk to the beach or into town to all the delights of the pier. Freshly painted in the colors of the sun, sand and sea, Camden Cottage sleeps 9 and comes fully stocked with all the dishes, pots, pans, and tools you need to grill a steak in the backyard, roast marshmallows around the fire pit or boil up a lobster feast. Our beach chairs and sturdy beach cart make your trek down to the water easy and you can end the day with a glass of wine on the covered front porch. And for those rainy days, there are books, games, music and DVDs to entertain the whole family. Come make memories at Camden Cottage!
Camden Cottage is rented by the week from Saturday to Saturday during the summer season (Sat. June 24th thru Sat. Sept 2nd.) Off season, we rent the property in the spring and fall with a 3 night minimum stay.
Driving in? - We've have off-street parking for 3 cars.
Flying? We are a quick 20 min ride from Portland International Airport.
Taking the train? Camden Cottage is a short walk from the train station.
Your vacation stay will be worry-free.
NOTE: Due to the inconsistency of linen delivery services, we will not be providing linens (towels and sheets) for renters. We can recommend a local linen rental service to contact directly for rental, delivery and payments if packing linens is not possible. Comforters, pillow, and plenty of extra blankets are provided in the house.

Well stocked . Great communication with the host. Living room/ dining area bigger than expected. To get to laundry needed to go outside. The only sleeping area on the first floor is the sunroom. Would stay there again.

From arrival to departure our stay did not disappoint. Home had what we needed in every aspect from sleeping, cooking and outdoor relaxation. Our host was very helpful with finding a local lobster market that we brought fresh lobster home and made it a true Maine experience.

We were in OOB for the Annual Car show. Sadly they cancelled Saturday because of Hurricane Lee. Plenty of room in the house for 6 adults, house is bigger than what the pictures make you think. Would stay again!

The house was perfect for our family of 8 and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay including gear for beach which was a huge plus. Easy walk to pier and beach, would stay here again.

Overall nice and clean. Stairs were way too steep for our friends. Porch leaked when it rained and that was the room with bed that our friends slept.

This rental was great! Great location, lots of places to eat, walking distance to the beach and lots of room for the family to spread out in. Dont forget to bring your own linens during the off season, Eric and Jennifer reminded us which was so helpful! The only thing I would mention is that the "master bedroom" upstairs with the little pullout loveseat does have a carpeted stairwell connecting the room to the kitchen. There are no doors for this stairwell and so we had to be extra careful with our little ones. (However the hosts do provide two baby gates which was super handy!) Overall, it was a lovely stay and hope to be back again soon.

Home was in quiet easy to access neighborhood. Able to walk to destinations quickly as stated by owners. Found a few gems in the off season that made our stay fun.

Eric and Jen were great hosts - responsive and very accommodating! The house was clean and the location the great - it was a bit dated with a very steep staircase but overall worked for us.

My family and I had a wonderful two week stay at the Camden Cottage. We stayed with our 3 year old daughter and newborn son and it accommodated us very comfortably. We have rented many places before and the beds here we found very comfortable. There were many games and dvds which was nice. The walk to the beach was very close and manageable with the kids. The boardwalk was also close if we wanted to walk there but far enough away that we did not feel we were near all the hustle and bustle with the kids. Eric was very quick to respond when we had a small issue and sent someone out to fix it promptly. He also was very understanding and allowed us to use the house and porch after check out when our car battery died and we needed to wait for a replacement. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Camden Cottage!

Extended Stay
We had a great time in Old Orchard Beach enjoying the changing of fall colors all that Maine has to offer. The house is well located near the beach and has easy access to Portland and the highways for easy travel on numerous day trips. Communication with Eric was excellent and he was very quick to respond. The house is very well stocked and clean but a little dated and the stairs could be difficult to navigate. All in all, we would stay in this house again.

Perfect for an OOB getaway
House was clean and had most everything we needed. Jen and Eric are very accommodating hosts and communication is a breeze. We will certainly book here again when we come to town again.
We were in OOB visiting a few friends and it was very nice to be able to host a lobster dinner, enjoy some games, and a nice fire out back; all thanks to a well supplied house. The beach is lovely, the pier area was fun, and it was a delight to come home to a warm comfy bed at the end of the day.

My family and I had a great time staying at the Camden Cottage at Old Orchard Beach. A short 5-10 minute walk to beach. Well appointed with an awesome fire pit and comfortable beds, which is always a plus .

Great experience.
The week was great. The cottage was clean, had everything we needed to have a super time (pots, pans, WiFi, , washer and dryer, fire pit, grill, etc. multiple bedrooms and sleeping areas.

Family vacation
Stayed here for family vacation. Comfortable family home in a good location for walking to shops and the beach. Stores close by for quick pick ups of forgotten items. Hosts very responsive and quickly respond to any questions you may have.

Would visit again!
It was a cute house with plenty of room for our family. We were able to walk to the beach, amusement park, pier and mini golf. The information on the VRBO listing didn’t always match the “welcome packet”
from the owner. A little bit of confusion but we figured it out.

Nice clean comfortable place , plenty of space . Loved the beds ,linens and cleanliness . Kitchen was well equipped, fire pit and plenty of wood was a plus!!

Loved it!
This was our first trip to OOB and it was fantastic. The house was clean and in a great neighborhood close to the beach and downtown. We walked everywhere! Working with Miranda was wonderful as well. She was so accommodating and understanding of our small children. We’ll definitely be back!

Like the good ol’ days
Our family of four along with another family of four stayed in this pristine cottage for a wonderful week in Old Orchard Beach. We explored the area along with Ocean Park which is where I grew up going on vacation. The house has everything you need both inside and outside including a nice sitting area with two picnic tables and a fire pit with comfy Adirondack chairs. The front porch also provides a nice space to relax and read and get you out of the sun. Both families found the bedrooms comfortable and everything was extremely clean. The bathrooms were spotless and the shower pressure well appreciated. The kitchen had everything you needed and more. Our son’s birthday was celebrated and there was even an electric mixer to make the cupcakes. The owner found out about his birthday and even brought over some candles. We explored everything by bike from the house and it was relatively easy for our group. There is one hill to climb on way back from beach though it’s short and doable. Portland was an easy drive and we enjoyed the food and shopping down in the Old Port. We even hit Aquaboggan (nearby water park in Saco) for a day. Thanks for making our stay so memorable, Miranda!

The Camden Cottage
Our week at the Camden Cottage and in Old Orchard Beach was wonderful. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. There was plenty of space for the 6 of us and a short walk to beach and boardwalk. Miranda was a great host. Provided smores for backyard firepit and extras like soap, laundry detergent, napkins (and of course, Clorox wipes during the pandemic). Thanks for a great vacation Maine and Miranda

Camden Cottage
Camden cottage was exactly what we expected for 8 of us. Clean, cozy comfortable! Great location easy access to the beach, boardwalk and grocery store. My family loved the place and didn’t want to leave. We made use of the fire pit almost every night and enjoyed the s’mores Miranda provided. Miranda is very friendly and accommodating.

Wonderful stay at Camden Cottage
Our stay at Camden Cottage was very nice. We had a family vacation including 4 adults and 2 twelve year old boys. The cottage served us very well. Everything was stocked with all we needed including everyday supplies and even S’more fixings! Miranda was excellent and made us feel very welcome. We couldn’t have asked for more.

We enjoyed our stay...not far from the beach and there are beach chairs and a cart there to use...the S’mores ingredients left by Miranda were a nice touch!

Perfect spot
Miranda is very sweet, her property is beautifully decorated, CLEAN and comfortable. We had a couple of little hiccups and she was apologetic and quick to resolve. Backyard was amazing, fire pit, grill, picnic tables, twinkling lights! Quick walk to the beach quick walk downtown. We are already trying to pick our week next year!!

Beautiful beach vacation home
Spacious and beautifully furnished house, 10 min walk to the beach (with kids and gear!). Had everything we needed, plenty of room for the 7 of us. Kids were particularly fond of the games and DVD selections. Would highly recommend!

Everything was perfect!
We enjoyed our week at Miranda’s home tremendously. Everything was exactly as expected and often even better. The house is perfect to relax in family or to make good meals and play some games. The yard was wonderful and we enjoyed the s’mores many times! Everything is well thought of for the beach and the house is in a lovely neighbourhood. We are looking forward coming back. Thank you!!

Lovely cottage a short walk to the beach
We had an amazing week at the Camden Cottage! Miranda (the home owner) is very sweet. It's a 5 minute walk down hill to the ocean, a great park, mini golf, and the Pier. It's on a very private road with very little traffic. My 4 year old daughter never wanted to leave.
