Decepção com a política de tratamento aos hóspedes

Hotel maravilhoso

Eu e minha esposa fomos ao Carmel taíba comemorar nosso aniversário de casamento, uma estadia de quarta a domingo. Devido a uma virose minha esposa já chegou passando mal e eu comecei a passar mal no dia seguinte. Não saíamos do quarto e não estávamos aproveitando nada do hotel, então na sexta feira resolvemos voltar pra casa. Marcamos um transfer para a madrugada. Assim que falei que iríamos encerrar nossa estadia antecipadamente a gerente do hotel já me disse que o hotel não faria devolução de estadia não utilizadas e para ganhar um crédito para estadia futuras eu teria que apresentar um atestado médico!!!! Um atestado médico!!! Pq diabos eles acham que nós resolvemos sair antecipadamente??? Pagamos para alterar voo, pagamos um transfer mais caro de madrugada, etc. sabíamos que era uma virose pq nossos filhos tinham tudo tb antes da gente, então não iríamos ao médico se não tivéssemos necessidade, seria apenas repouso em casa. Mas para o carmel Taiba eu precisava provar através de um atestado médico que estávamos passando mal. Eu particularmente depois de ser tratado desta forma não tenho intenção de retornar ao hotel mas acho injusto um lugar que tem uma nota como esta trate um hóspede desta forma, então deixo aqui registrada minha insatisfação com o tratamento recebido do Carmel Taiba.

Na acomodação nada a acrescentar de elogio

A cama é EXTREMAMENTE desconfortável. Dores na costa todas as noites. Muito ruim. A piscina não eh um atrativo que Valença pena pagar a mais, pois eh INUTILIZÁVEL. Folhas na piscina, caramujo na piscina. Não vale a pena pagar por uma coisa q não se usa. Banheiro sujo.

Hotel excepcional em todos os sentidos - das acomodações à equipe, tudo impecável, café da manhã incrivel, ótima comida, quarto fantástico (suíte pássaros com piscina privativa), e a melhor piscina de hotel de praia do país possivelmente

Apenas mais opções de comida nos dois dias da semana em que o restaurante principal não funciona à noite (Cipó), pois o cardápio do restaurante Pau a Pique é reduzido.

Incredible stay at a resort that truly lives up to the hype

The care of the staff is world-class. Truly a wonderful experience from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. The view...wow...is there a better vista in Brazil than from the pool of Carmel? I highly doubt it! This is a truly wonderful establishment which deserves its high praise and is worthy of its expensive price tag. Big shout out to the lovely serving staff and J - I can't imagine a more hospitable, hilarious and helpful garçom. Additional points for the greatest ceviche I have ever eaten. Can't stop dreaming of it!

We found the eagerness with which the staff cleaned our room was a bit intense. We would leave our room for dinner or a drink, and we would return to two staff members steadfastly cleaning our room. It was appreciated, but a bit too much. One cleaning a day is all that is necessary, right?! Also, there was no hot water in the shower, and our pool was freezing. I wouldn't suggest paying the additional amount for a pool, unless you are fine with it being extremely cold.
