One of the best places we’ve stayed at during our US travels.

Very friendly staff. Room recently refurbished and spotlessly clean. Fabulous pool.

No breakfast included, but reasonable breakfast location across the road.

Motel near the highway with clean rooms and nice staff

The staff was nice enough to leave a key for us, as we arrived pretty late.

I thought the property was in Cape Charles, but it is 5 miles south of the turn off. I didn't realize that until we arrived. I selected a room with two beds. I thought it was a bed and breakfast, as the photograph is of a big house, so I thought we were staying IN the house -- instead it was a strip motel... The room's AC was set to freezing, so I adjusted it. Unfortunately, it had a ceiling fan, but it was set to jet engine speed, I could not find a remote to change the setting, and it was blowing so hard it literally blew the blanket off the bed! It was a nice enough room, updated and VERY clean.

Close to Chesapeake Bay Bridge/Tunnel. Cute motel. Very pleasant staff. Easy to find. Would definitely stay here again.

Cute little place to stay!

Cute, clean, no frills but perfect for us! Affordable! Retro style motel. Very quiet. Love the lawn area right up front where you could grill or go to the fire pit. Loved the cute little farm animals that you could see. There's a private area in of the back of the motel with cornfields which are beautiful!Cozy pool we had to ourselves which was nice. The beds were very comfortable and the room was clean . It had a Keurig, microwave and small refrigerator which was nice. The barn door on the bathroom had a nice touch but you had to use the luggage holder to keep it shut. Wewould definitely stay here again! Very affordable and conveniently located.

The sliding barn bathroom door was adorable but it wouldn't stay shut unless we propped the luggage rack beside it.

Thanks for a great week! We plan to be back.

The room we reserved for the week turned out to be the handicap access room, and was very small. At the evening bonfire with other guests and the owners, we mentioned that we did not know it would be so small. They did some fenagling and on the 2nd day moved us to a larger room at no extra cost. These people are awesome! Friendly and personable. The rooms are clean, have everything you need (mini fridge, microwave, toiletries, etc), cleaning staff was efficient and personable. The pool was nice, and there were even BBQ grills we could use. The location is quiet, right on the highway, has an awesome restaurant/gift shop right across the street with great food (Stingray's), and is 11 minutes to the public beach.

Clean and cozy rooms

Angel was at the desk, when 3 groups of people showed up to check in. She was so nice and efficient. The rooms were nice and clean. All the employees were very nice and made us feel comfortable. We were centrally located to Cape Charles and Kiptopeke state park.Our furbabies loved their stay and time on the beach.

Nothing it was an enjoyable stay and the pet fee was great

Too pricey for what you get

The location was very convenient, and the staff was friendly.

The room has 2 queen beds, but for some reason, only one of them was made. The other had a coverlet but no sheets so I couldn't sleep in it. The room only had 1 overhead light and a bedside lamp, so it was really dark. I brought in a reading light to use while I was sitting at the table working. The wifi kept cutting in and out and never got above a single bar even when it was working. Also, the hotel was quite expensive for what little you get.

Nice motel, would stay again.

Property was nice, quiet. Rooms were very nice, would stay here again.

Room was not cleaned during our three night stay, no towel exchange. Room hvac was extremely noisy.

Quaint and retro.

Very quaint, very reasonable, perfectly priced. We will stay again next time we're in the area. Staff were lovely.

Asked for a shower chair for disabled spouse, they did not have. Also a cushioned chair in the room would have been nice. If your looking for a roomy bath, this is not the place for you.

The motel was very clean and the staff was great! It’s not fancy, but it was certainly comfortable and great for what we needed, which was an overnight room halfway to our final destination.
