We were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary with our children & families & my brother. We had plenty of room, the views were spectacular & the house is close to public transportation. Camilo was wonderful.
The buggy ride was a hit with our school age & teenage grandchildren. The waterfall is beautiful & it’s fun to get in the water.
Public transportation is close & convenient. The grocery store had EVERYTHING we needed. So close to the house.
We swam in the pool a couple times a day! The view is amazing. We were so comfortable!

This property was amazing! The house was clean, had plenty of space, and was perfect for our two families. Two of the rooms are separate from the main house, right outside the pool area. We used those two rooms for the two couples, and the kids had the entire house to themselves, which they loved. We felt very safe the entire time. The house is about a 10-minute walk from some restaurants and bars and then about a 10-minute drive to the rest of Manuel Antonio, beaches, and the entrance to the national park. Camilo was great-he was very helpful with helping us book activities and he was responsive whenever we had questions. The pool area was where we spend most of our time. There was a Bluetooth speaker, lights, a fan, a table, and chairs, and it was a great gathering area. The house is off a main road, so there was some road noise and barking dogs during the night. Unfortunately, we didn't get any wildlife or jungle sounds but the views were gorgeous.

We were traveling with another family and this house was perfect! Camillo was great and very helpful. It was nice to be able to walk to the grocery store and to restaurants and experience more of the local culture. We had a chef make us dinner the first night and it was amazing. I would definitely recommend staying here!

We enjoyed our stay. Great house with tons of room. Awesome perks of a concierge and maid service. We had a few issues- no hot water in one room, broken tv, and a very close neighbor with little dogs that barked a LOT. But overall a great house and easily walkable to a few shops and restaurants.

This house was everything we expected and more. I cannot say enough good things about our service. It was hand down a 10/10! Every single thing was made super easy for our group of 8. The chef was amazing. All our excursions were wonderful, all because of our wonderful concierge Camilo! There aren’t enough stars to give him. He was simply amazing! It’s in town which we expected, and actually made it super easy with younger kids. We loved the dogs Romeo and Juliet that were frequent visitors. Overall this stay was amazing and we will be back!

Great property and terrific service from Camillo. The only recommendation is to rekey all the locks to one key. Having a key ring with 6 keys doesn’t seem necessary. Would definitely recommend.

This home is beautiful. Almost too much space for our party of 6, if there is such a thing as too much space. The home could easily accommodate 12. The outdoor area, pool and dining, are perfect. I would be nervous with little non-swimmers as the pools is easily accessible. The location is walking distance to bars and restaurants and a grocery store (where you get a discount during your stay). The view from everywhere is spectacular. The concierge, Camilo answered all my questions before and during the trip. He scheduled EVERYTHING, all we had to do was choose and enjoy. I cannot wait to come back. Would highly recommend.

The house was great. Had everything we needed. The concierge, Camillo, was terrific, meeting us at the property, arranging tours and always available to take our calls and answer any questions. Through Camillo we arranged for Chef Julio to prepare a wedding rehearsal dinner for our family and other guests. It was amazing.

Wonderful Stay
Our family had a wonderful time! The house was beautiful and exactly what our family was looking for! We had a rental car, but walked many places including the beach (if you don’t mind some hills) and many restaurants! Camillo was a great host and helped us book some adventures! I can’t say enough at how friendly everyone was! Thank you for many wonderful memories!

Great location with a spectacular view!
The house is in a great location with easy access to restaurants, the beach, and day trips to other areas such as Dominical and Uvita which is only 45 min away by car. The roof top deck is the perfect place to watch the sun set every night. Camillo, the house manager was amazing! He helped us book 3 tours as well as a chef to come to the house two of the nights. Both meals we had were delicious. This was a great option because we had a few kids with us and after a fun filled day they were often too tired to go out to eat. I highly recommend this home. It was our first time in Costa Rica and Camillo had a great recommendations and advice.
Oh and there are two adorable pugs that come and visit the home and they were a highlight for all of us.

Great place with the convenient location.
We stayed here for 2 weeks with 6 adults and 5 kids. It was more then enough space for us. Very nice house, very cozy with the nice size swimming pool and the deck at the very top with the amazing view of the ocean and one of the best views of the sunset in Manuel Antonio. There is a Food store right next to the house , which is super nice. Few things to note is that one room window is right by the outside table and you can hear the conversations from the inside. There is no dishwasher so be ready 💪🏻. And the house is near by the road, and if you looking for the quite nights it won’t happen, cars and motorcycles can be heard. All of those mention things didn’t ruin our stay at all it is just nice to know. Highly recommend this place and thanks to Camilo, who made our stay very pleasant and worry free.

Great, fun house with a convenient location.
This house is in a great location if you want the convenience of being near the main road. The house is right next to Super Joseph which is a little corner grocery store. It is also easy walking to Cafe Milagro which is great for coffee and breakfast and Aqual Azul which is a restaurant that we love when we go to Costa Rica. The house was great size and has some nice view once you are inside and up on the deck. Camillo was awesome and super responsive. Miguel who is always working around the property and the maids were all wonderful. Something you can't tell from the pictures is that there are 3 houses with-in the same gate. This was not an issue just something I didn't know. It would be possible to rent both Casa Alta Vista and Grande Vista if you had a big group which would be fun. The only slight negative is that because you are close to the main road you do hear some of the road noise, but for us on this trip it was worth it to be able to walk more easily or to take a bus/taxi. I thought we might miss out on some of the animals that we normally see by being closer to the road but we saw Tucans, Macaws, and both squirrel and capuchin Monkeys.

Paradise
We had a wonderful time in Manuel Antonio thanks to Camilo and his team. The house was beautiful and after getting in very late we were greeted with fresh fruit. The house came with a book of recommendations that were spot on. Camilo even made arrangements for us to go jet skiing on the ocean and sent a driver to pick us up. This was our first trip to Costa Rica and it won't be our last. One word of advise- take the location instructions for the house seriously!

Casa Alta Vista is a beautiful home in a great location! The views are fabulous from the pool and the rooftop deck. It is within walking distance to many restaurants and attractions. Highly recommend this property! Lots of room for our group of 9 adults. Location is ideal--grocery store at the end of the block, plenty of dining options within walking distance, bus stop close by to catch a ride to the beaches and Manuel Antonio National Park. Views from the pool deck and roof top deck are amazing! Concierge is top notch. Camilo was exceptionally responsive and informative from the moment we reserved Casa Alta Vista through checkout. From booking tours to providing helpful info about what to expect when in Costa Rica, Camilo did it all! Thank you for a wonderful vacation and hoping for a return trip one day! Pura Vida!

Shiona’s assistance with planning everything was invaluable; from transportation at the airport, excursions, to expectations after arriving, everything was excellent. Shiona went on holiday and handed things off to Camilo, who was the first coordinator we met in person. What a great presence he was for our vacation! Anything needed he took care of with friendly professionalism. Camilo had plans for his own holiday, so Sabrina stepped in and continued with the excellent customer service. The first class concierge team definitely exceeded our expectations. The house was amazing, just what we needed. For six of us, we were more than comfortable with the amount of space provided. The scenery is so relaxing that sitting by the pool was a joy, we spent hours outside enjoying the beautiful property. Water pressure and balancing the water temperature in some of the rooms presented a slight challenge but it wasn’t anything major. The kitchen was well stocked and we had no need to call for any maintenance the entire week. Casa Alta Vista is part of a gated group of three houses; one where the owner lives and he rents out the other two as vacation homes. There is plenty of privacy. The maid service was excellent, efficient, prompt and never obtrusive while we were there. The cleaning service really added to the relaxation of our vacation. Something fun, very fun…. the owner has two cute Pugs, Romeo and Juliet. They were an unexpected treat for all of us! They greeted us when we arrived with such a friendly joy, we could tell they are lovers of people. They are well trained, we were there a week and never saw either one with bad manners, lovely to have around.The Rainmaker Night Tour, the Catamaran Tour, the Vacation Buggy Waterfall & Jungle Tour and the Spice Farm tour were all worth the money. Plenty of authentic cuisine enhanced the excursions and left us all with a great love of the food in Costa Rica.The guides were extremely knowledgeable with outgoing personalities. We had two meals prepared by Chef Alejandro, which Shiona and Camilo arranged for us. After a long day of traveling, lunch with Chef Alejandro was amazing! Chef Alejandro also prepared a beautiful dinner for us, I highly recommend him for your visit. It was a fantastic trip, I highly recommend Casa Alta Vista!

Lovely Stay
Our group had a great time in Costa Rica and at Casa Alta Vista. The house was more than large enough for our 8 adults. We loved the pool area and ate outside in the evening most nights...lots of cooking on the grill. We enjoyed our tours and activities along with all of the people we interacted with. The people of Costa Rica proved to be easy going and easy to work with. I would highly recommend a vacation there.

Fabulous Location, Wonderful Vacation!
We spent a week at Casa Alta Vista and really enjoyed our experience. There was plenty of room for our party of 8. Loved the food and the sunsets by the pool. Be aware that the hot tub isn’t hot but the jets still felt great after a day of adventure. Shiona is very helpful and gave us great ideas for tours and restaurants. Two thumbs up!

Views for days!
We had a party of 6 staying at Casa Alta Vista, and it was perfect! It was a great jump off spot for any excursions, and fishing trips that we did. It was also ideal for those afternoons when we didn't have anything else planned and wanted to lounge out by the pool. The house has amazing views from just about every window, a full 180 degree view of the pacific from the pool, and a breathtaking 360 degree view from the porch on the top of the house. Each bedroom was more than adequately cooled with it's own air conditioner, and the bathrooms were comfortable, with plenty of hot water.
A special thanks to Shiona, who was our concierge who lined everything up for us, and more! She was great to work with, and had many of our excursions lined up before we got there. She also was very helpful when we needed something spur of the moment, like a large car to accommodate everyone, or a restaurant suggestion.
The location was ideal. About halfway between Quepos, and the Manuel Antonio National Park. Many restaurants were within a 5 minute walk. There's also an excellent grocery store right at the end of the block, that we received a discount at for staying at Casa Alta Vista!
I would definitely recommend this house for a large group of people coming down!

Wonderful house and location
This was one of my best trips! The house, location and staff were beyond wonderful. The house is very spacious and very close to restaurants, a supermarket and other attractions. The staff was extremely helpful with everything, from answering general questions promptly to booking excursions and activities for our group. Stunning Views and all the amenities
The property is stunning. From the views, to the amenities within the house and beyond. Five bedrooms, four bathrooms and plenty of living space. The pool area is perfect and equipped with a bar area, grill, and tv. I highly recommend staying at this house if you are staying in the Manuel Antonio area of Costa Rica. There is a fully equipped supermarket right around the corner if you want to make your own food, or just need snacks and drinks. The house is close to all the restaurants, bars, and shops in the area, all within walking distance. There are many beautiful beaches only about 10 minutes away by taxi. The house is a must!

BEST VACATION EVER
From the beginning the service was impeccable, the concierge was so accommodating for my group. We arrived early and needed a transport separate from the rest of our group. She replied quickly and tended to our needs immediately. All services we used were amazing. From the maintenance and cleaning, concierge and security. The property was absolutely gorgeous. Amazing! Casa Alta Vista exceeded our expectations
This was our first trip to Costa Rica. Manuel Antonio is a beautiful place and Casa Alta Vista makes it even better. There was plenty of room for 10 adults to hang out. We enjoyed the pool almost every day and the views are spectacular! Having the market and restaurants close by was a definite plus. All of the staff were super helpful and Shiona went above and beyond. She helped plan all our excursions, get drivers and made dinner reservations - plus she even decorated for my birthday! We will definitely be back. Thank you for making my 40th birthday one to remember!

In Love with the kitchen - Walking distance to everything
We had such a great time at Casa Alta Vista that we are already planning our next visit. Comfort and great a location made our vacation really special. Another great incentive is getting a 10% off in all your grocery shopping including alcohol :) The kitchen at this villa is spectacular and very spacious.
Shiona our personal concierge and vacation coordinator was beyond amazing, she took real good care of us. We didn't have to move a finger, because we booked all tours and activities through her which made our life way easier. We have a couple of young teenagers and they loved the adventures that Shiona sent them on.

Magnificent
Our stay at Casa Alta Vista was truly amazing! 10 of us( two families traveling together with older children) shared this lovely space which comfortably accommodated us. The views from the pool area and the rooftop were breathtaking, The location of the house was perfect for us, close to restaurants and beaches, and especially nice to have the convenience of the grocery store close by. Our concierge Shiona was amazing, she worked with us to set up an unforgettable trip including zip lining, deep sea fishing, catamaran, waterfall and jungle tours. Our personal favorite was having Chef Ivan come and cook a gourmet meal at the house on New Years day...best meal of the trip! Everyone associated with the property that we met, went out of their way to help us feel welcome, comfortable , and safe. I would highly recommend this property, and hope to return again in the future!

Lovely home with a good location!
Shiona gave us exact directions to get to the home, which was quite easy using Google maps. Shiona is whom I communicated with, and she was an awesome concierge to the home and provided quick communication and fast solutions to anything we encountered in the house.
The house was ideal for our group of 10. It had enough rooms and beds for us all to sleep comfortably. The view from the house is amazing, especially the sunset. We had an issue with the washer/dryer not connected, but that eventually got resolved. Remote for the TV was missing, but I suppose that was only noticed because the kids wanted to wind down one night. A simple toaster in the kitchen would have been a wonderful addition, as we preferred having breakfast at the house before going out.
Overall, I would recommend this property to anyone wanting a place close to restaurants, supermarket, beach and manuel Antonio national Park. We had a car to ourselves, so that made it easier!

Beautiful 360's views!!
Our stay in this property was good. The house is huge! It has different levels and has 5 bedrooms in different levels of the house. There is a bathroom pretty much everywhere! I will definitely recommend this house for a group of adults not so much for children or elderly and here is why: the pool is nice but 70%of the floor surrounding the pool is super slippery when wet (which you will get it wet if you use the pool) my kids (4 and 2) fell several times, and people walking by it had to be extremely careful not to slip. The house has many many stairs so not good for handicap or toddlers just starting to walk. There were some things that didn't work during our stay, like the whirlpool and the dryer. They tried to fix it for us but were unable due parts not arriving on time before our stay was over. Also the refrigerator stopped cooling the night before we left which didn't really affect us since we were about to leave. SHiona our concierge was beyond wonderful. She was so helpful with our needs and knows the area really well and has great recommendations!! The views from the 4th floor were stunning! They have a deck with a 360 views to the ocean and mountains, great place to watch the sunset. The views will take your breath away!
