This 2-story lakeside cottage is in historical and beautiful Flat Rock, NC. It sits on a quiet lane in a large mountain retreat that gives you plenty of space to walk, explore, and relax. We checked in after Christmas. Two of our children and their partners joined us. The house was beautiful and had plenty of room for 6 adults and one infant. The house was decorated for Christmas. We loved that since one of our children hadn’t made it home. The property manager was very helpful and left small touches at the house that made us very welcome. The book about the area was wonderful. We walked down the road and fed the goats. Everybody loved that. We visited down town Hendersonville, Ashville, and Brevard. We hiked in two national forests - DuPont and Pisgah. The waterfalls were beautiful. We will definitely return, if we don’t buy our own place in the area. Nobody wanted to go home. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

The host has done a phenomenal job making sure tenants have everything they need. We stayed in town for my niece's wedding and it was perfect. I would come back again for other trips to the mountains. This place was decorated for Christmas, everything in the kitchen was labeled and easy to find. I couldn't have asked for a better stay!! To the host, Thank you ! To vacationers, book now! You won't regret it!

This house was absolutely perfect. From the front porch rocking chairs to walking down to feed tho goats. The layout was spacious yet cozy. Everything was organized. The host was top notch. I’ve seen dozens of plays at flatrock playhouse and they never disappoint. Hiking at dupont state park. Shopping and dinner in nearby hendersonville. Grocery store within 5 minute drive and flatrock bakery right around the corner. I couldn’t ask for more.

Our group of four retired women decided to get away for a few days. I found this house on VRBO, and everyone agreed it was exactly what we were hoping to find. When we arrived, we found the cottage to be absolutely beautiful, spotless, and comfy. The setting is so relaxing, and the location is perfect for visiting Hendersonville and Flat Rock. The hosts were premier hosts in every way. We definitely would return again.

One of the BEST properties I have rented via VRBO. Property manager was absolutely awesome! House was super clean, so comfy and cute, beds were so comfortable and the lines were top notch! Great location...5 minutes from Main Street, Hendersonville, and a short walk to the Highland Lake Inn! Would stay there again for sure and would highly recommend this property!

This house is so beautiful and everything there is so well organized. We spent our Christmas here and all the decorations in the house made the atmosphere just perfect. We took wonderful walks around, our kids enjoyed the swings and feeding the goats. Grocery store is just around the corner. Everything about this house is perfect. My husband and I had a fabulous 12 days at this lovely, clean home in Flat Rock. The home is as described and in a quaint small community in Flat Rock. There are a few restaurants right down the street and downtown Hendersonville is a quick 12 minute ride. We also had a delicious meal at Seasons, which is right in the Highland Lake community. The hosts were very nice and answered any questions we had within minutes. We definitely plan to return!

This home is even better than the pictures. It was so clean and the organization in this home is impressive. Just about everything was labeled and the Wifi code and property info was easy to find and so helpful. We hiked at Triple Falls, did Apple Picking at Grandad's Apples, took the kid's to Elijah's Gem mine and had lunch in downtown Hendersonville. Everything we did was a convenient 10-25 minute drive away. We walked twice to feed the goats apples on the property and the kids (age 4-8) loved it! This is a beautiful home on a peaceful property. We loved sitting on the deck drinking our coffee in the morning. We had such a great time. Excellent hosts. This is one of the best VRBO's we've ever stayed in. We hope to return!
