This condo has been our families go to spot for the last 16 years and the 4 times we’ve been on the island. We love it for the convenience of being centrally located allowing reasonable drive time to both North and South shores. Located feet from the shore you have an excellent view and get a great coastal breeze and can fall asleep listening to the ocean waves. Just make sure you go when the trade winds are blowing. On site amenities are fantastic. Lots of beach items to use. Pool area and grounds are excellent and well kept up.

We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay or location. The condo was well appointed, well maintained, and clean. The decor was cohesive and beachy. The view was spectacular. Loved that it was right on the water and you could keep all the windows open to hear the ocean. One of our family members didn't feel well during the trip so we stayed in quite a bit, but because of the view we didn't feel like we were missing out. Would stay here again.

We were very comfortable in this home and it was very convenient to local restaurants and grocery stores as well as beach access to hotel bars and restaurants. Access to the North and South Island was easy from this location as it was between the locations that we visited. If we return, we will definitely stay here.

This property was a great fit for a family of four including two teenagers because he had two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfast and occasional lunch. It was essentially located and right on the water. There is a beach nearby, but we had to wait through water to get to it. Alternatively, you can snorkel right off the property as the rock and coral. The management company was also very helpful in securing a cruise to the Napali coast when TripAdvisor and Viator were showing it is sold out.

This is the second time we have stayed at this exact residence. The owner is so welcoming and was great at communicating with us. Our morning coffee watching the sunrise off of the lanai was one our favorite parts of the trip. Great pool and bbq area and centrally located on the island. Beautiful interior with plenty of room for my wife and I along with our two grown children, Everything you need for a great vacation. We wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else!

We had an amazing stay in this unit. The owner thought of every detailin decor and guest offerings when renovating this property. We were worried about no AC, but with the amazing sea breeze we and no issues. We loved the comfortable furniture on lanai to relax in the early morningand evenings. Would definitely come back.

Although we did like this unit (clean and nicely decorated), we found the property (Kapaa Shores resort) somewhat run down.
The staircases are quite dirty (some garbage under the stairway in our part of the building) which made our arrival to the property a bit of a letdown.
The pool and jacuzzi were cleaned everyday though as well as the sun loungers and BBQs.
There is no air conditioning but the fans and open windows keep things pretty cool although the unit does get very humid.
Overall a good property but could use a few small tweaks. Communication with the property managers and checkin and checkout easy.

Very nice 2 floors condo, we loved the whole place and decoration. Full kitchen with quality furniture. We could have used A/C just once otherwise the other nights the wind and fans were enough. The location is close to many restaurants and markets. There are sand beaches nearby walking distance. Very clean and easy to check-in and out.

My mom and I stayed her for an adults only trip to Kauai. The condo was as described, had all of the amenities, was very clean and overall I recommend it. There are stairs which is in the listing however it is something to keep in mind. We loved sitting on the Lanai listening to the ocean.

Our condo was simply amazing. We were a little worried about no AC, but with the doors open and the windows open at night it was no problem whatsoever. Our condo unit was cozy, efficient and had everything you could possibly need.. It was a plus because it even had beach towels, beach bags, hats and cooler's. This condo was far and above better than any VRBO we have ever used. Every detail was amazing. The condo: furniture, fixtures, lights, appliances, flooring, decor, paint—were all upgraded and top notch. Ceiling, floor stand, table stand fans in every room. All kinds of beach gear.
So many light switches, labels would have been welcomed.
If or when we return to Kauai—this will be the destination.

Loved the unit from the moment we walked through the door. So cleverly designed & decorated all with amazing views of the ocean and pool. We had no complaints until the smoke alarm decided to go off at 6am for no reason. Due to its location on the high ceiling you can’t reach it without a ladder. I called the emergency after hours numbers with no response. Called the building maintenance but nobody came by. 4 hrs later and nothing. We beat it with a pole into submission but was really disappointed that when we really needed help nobody was there. That and everybody around us made sure to let us know how upset they were with us. So that was fun. Ugh. It’s moments like this where a resort/hotel would be better because they resolve it immediately.

This property was great. The views were awesome from the lanai. The pool is directly below the unit, which I liked because you knew when it was busy or not. The staff did a great job of cleaning and testing the pool and hot tub every morning. They also clean the 4 gas grills every morning as well. I thought this was a great thing from a small complex. the lounge chairs are plentiful and offer a nice mix of sun and shade spots and the surf was a constant pleasant noise. It is not a swimming beach, but it is great for just relaxing and letting your cares slip away.The unit itself was nice outfitted with extra beach towels, 4 nice beach chairs, and several coolers. The breeze that came thru the unit 24yrs a day was incredible!! there was never a moment I wished that the unit had AC, because you would have lost the sounds of the ocean if we had closed it up. The kitchen was well stocked and everything worked well. The fridge is a bit small but otherwise it was fine. The only knock I have is the two couches are old and the smaller one is a bench style that was uncomfortable.Great location!! Bars/restaurants literally across the street and also within a mile walk in either direction. Both directions also have trails that go right along the water so it is nice no matter where you go. I would definitely recommend this unit and I would stay there again.

Place was awesome, clean, and very well decorated. Location was perfect, loved exploring the tidepools. Only oddity was no curtains on most windows. Standing in loft room, hottubers can see all, which I realized walking around nude :) I had to drape blanket over railing for privacy, so easy fix, but bigger issue was up with the sunrise every day as no way to block out light. Recommend putting curtains up and portable AC like I saw in some units, and the place would be prefect. We would stay there again!

Owners have provided all the necessities for cooking, grilling, and beach chairs/towels allowing us to immediately start enjoying our vacation upon arrival. Being an end unit directly next to the ocean there was always a cool breeze and the sounds of the crashing waves is amazing.

Beautiful and Relaxing
This unit looks just like the pictures. It has recently been renovated and is quite beautiful. The common grounds around the pool, lawn, and barbecue area are well kept. It is near a long walking path the north and is well located for driving north or south to see other areas. It is on the third floor and doesn’t have an elevator but the climb isn’t bad. We have family staying in other units in this complex that have not been renovated and are not nearly as nice. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful condo.

Top floor on the end and right on the beach. So perfect to watch each sunrise and for whale watching.
All things are walking distance and everyone working on property was very nice. I'd recommend this for groups going to Kaua'i.

Best unit in the complex
The unit is high up right on the ocean-side end of the building so you have great views, but it's also protected from direct weather by being in a building turned perpendicular from the wind/rain path. The pool is great for the kids, and the location of the complex is great to get to either the Princeville/Hanalei end of the island or the Poipu end in a reasonable amount of time. Only downside I could see is if your party has people who have trouble with stairs because it's a 3rd floor unit with one of the beds up another flight still to a loft. Absent that issue, you can't ask for a better place.

Beautiful unit
We felt very fortunate to have found this condo. It was designed beautifully and I could tell they thought through every detail when they remodeled. It was even better in person than photos. The view was especially impressive as the photos don’t do it justice. I would stay here again and recommend it to friends and family.

Love Love Love
The pictures of this cute ocean view condo do not do this cute little cottage vibe condo justice. Everything was perfect! Stocked with everything you could need, including bug spray, aloe vera and cuzzies for your drinks. Tradewinds kept us cool and the ocean waves lulled us to sleep every night. Location is great cuz its centrally located on the island making travel to both sides easy. Complex is ok but don't let the outside appearance fool you. Grounds are kept super clean, pool was never crowded and other guest were so friendly. Already planning our return trip to Kapaa. Maholo!

The Kapaa Shore Resort worked well for both. The resort was comfortable and clean. Only negative being a lack of a swimmable beach. Location was convenient, but a bit congested.

The condo had been renovated beautifully! The pics are more than accurate. It was a beautiful view each morning to wake to. Everything with the property rental was easy. Only con would be that the pool/hot tub closes at 530. With us going to the beach each day it would have been nice to enjoy the area after we returned.
