About this cottage rental
Our fully renovated 3 bedroom cottage style unit offers all of the amenities needed for a perfect Rockport vacation. Enter from your side patio area with views of the harbor. The master suite has queen bed , private bathroom, sitting area and non working fireplace. Down the hall is another bedroom with queen bed. The third bedroom features a twin trundle bed. The open floor plan living room/dining area abuts a chefs kitchen with all the amenities needed to enjoy great family meals . Brick patio area features dining table and chairs , gas grill and beautiful flower and herb gardens for your enjoyment. Top this all off with central a/c and two parking spaces and you have the perfect Rockport vacation home just steps from downtown restaurants and shops on Bearskin Neck. Less than 1/2 mile walk to Front Beach or Old Garden Beach.

Another wonderful week in Rockport at a picture perfect home. I can't say enough about this rental - spotless upon check-in, well appointed rooms, comfortable beds and furniture and all the items needed for a fun day at the beach. Enjoyed using the fire pit at night and taking in the sun on the lovely patio located right outside our front door. The charming town is right down the block and the beach a short walk away. We have been vacationing at Rockport for over 20 years and we always find something new every year. The events at the beautiful Music Theatre are so entertaining. We will definitely be returning to Jonathan and Ellie's amazing home next summer. They are the most accommodating hosts who are always available from start to finish. And we were so happy to meet Jonathan in person when he stopped by to check on the fire pit.

We have stayed at this property several times and have loved it every time! The location is amazing, super close to downtown and beaches, and the house itself is wonderful. I'm sure we will be back!

The stay here was wonderful. We had two houses as our family consists of 8 adults and 4 children. Everything that the listing had said is true. Excellent location to Bear Skin Neck and Front Beach. The children really enjoyed Front Beach. Both houses were fully equipped with everything that you would need, including beach chairs, umbrellas and some sand toys. You are within walking distance of so many restaurants and of course all the quaint stores that make up Bear Skin Neck. I can't say enough good things about this place.

Once again our stay in Rockport was great! We have stayed at this Rockport property for few years now. It is close to the beach, shops and restaurants. The property is well maintained and the owners very helpful and available.

This is our third year in a row staying in this cottage. We love the location, how it is private with parking, but still close to Gloucester and other shopping areas. Plenty of space! I do wish the master bedroom had a king bed, but other than that we love the property.

The cottage is just around the corner from the harbor and provides a good access to all the shops and views you could want. Plenty of space inside to stretch outz and Jonathan was always on the ball no matter what may be at issue with the residence. Good bit of relaxation.
Property is not designed around disability access, however. Front step is a 6 inch rise and the master bedroom, fireplace, and the attached bathroom is all up on a raised floor with additional steps to the shower.

We absolutely loved our stay! The home was so cozy but spacious, and had everything we needed. It was so convenient to walk right down the street for breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner plus shopping! We will definitely be back :)

We would highly recommend this picturesque Rockport home! It was clean, cozy, and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting again.

The unit was steps away from the many shops and restaurants in town. We walked everywhere. The master bedroom is fantastic with a cute sitting area and a great view from every window. The kitchen was well stocked. The washer and dryer were full size. We had a great time exploring the area.

We booked the cottage for a girls fall getaway and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Rockport is a lovely town and the location of the property is top notch, close to all the shops, restaurants and beach area. There is parking onsite, an outdoor area with a fire table and chairs, and everything you could possibly need at your home away from home. Plenty of space for 4 women. Easy train ride or Uber ride into Salem and other neighboring towns. Thank you to the owners for being so attentive and communicative. It was a vacation we will hold near and dear.

Great spot in lovely Rockport. We enjoyed the house, the patio, and walking to close-by restaurants and shops. We also used Rockport as a base for Salem and Boston trips by the T train. Recommended!

3rd year staying at the cottage. Spotless and welcoming upon arrival. Enjoyed dining out at local restaurants and took in 2 concerts at the music hall. The location couldn't be any better - the charming tiown is right at your doorstep. A quick walk to the town beach- perfect way to spend the day. And the kitchen was perfect for making a seafood dinner with local caught lobsta . Already dreaming of our week here next summer.

It’s a great spot in downtown Rockport, within walking distance of beaches, shops, and sightseeing. It also has one very scarce feature in Rockport: parking!
The house is well-stocked with appliances and utensils, and is clean and comfortable. It also has some fascinating history. We’ve been there more than once, and have already booked it again for next year

We four had a wonderful few days in this lovely cottage. Everything was very easy to organize, and comfortable. The setting is perfect for walking the shoreline or exploring from Salem to Newburyport. Evenings outside around the gas firepit we're great fun. Our hosts have a home they should be rightly proud of. We will return!!

Alley Family - Scallop Season
Our family stayed in the cottage during the scallop season while my husband and crew worked out of Gloucester. The wifi was spotty and didn’t work great in the back bedroom, but it was a very cozy spot! We will definitely be back again.

Perfect week long get away in Rockport
Could not have asked for a more perfect spot to enjoy our annual visit to Rockport! The cottage was just as described and met all of our needs. Super clean and comfortable. Or 16 year old loved that she was able to walk out the door and be in town in a matter of minutes. Would definitely recommend this property and we are already looking forward to n next year!!

Rockport Getaway
This house on Mt. Pleasant Street in Rockport is in the center of town, close to beaches and shopping. It was built in the 1800’s and has been completely updated, although some elements of the original architecture have been preserved. It is roomy and comfortable, the grounds are beautiful… and it has parking, which is a valuable feature in Rockport!
There was plenty of room for our family of five. The kitchen/dining area had everything we needed. There is a dining table, and skylights. The bedrooms and bathrooms are clean and well maintained. The front door opens onto a patio with an adjoining parking area, with enough room for our full-size SUV. There are also tables and chairs outdoors.
Rockport Harbor is right across the street, and the shopping area known as Bearskin Neck is close by. Two of Rockport’s best beaches, Front Beach and Old Garden are within walking distance.
We enjoyed our stay thoroughly.

Lovely home and location
I really enjoyed my stay in beautiful Rockport. The cottage is cute, spacious, and has everything needed for a comfortable vacation. It’s also right in the heart of a walkable little town, and there are so many nice places to explore on foot, bike and car. I can’t recommend this rental enough and would definitely stay here again.
