It is unusual to find a detached villa with its own pool just for two people and at a reasonable price. The location and the views made it even more of a special find.

Dreamcatcher villa is perfect: - location: walking distance to tavernas; vlachata, the area in which it is located, is a very good starting point to explore the island; it also has a nice view of the sea - facilities: the villa looks better than in the pictures, the pool is perfect (maybe even bigger than in the pictures), intimate and quiet in the same time; small details also mattered, proving that the owners really care about your confort (e.g., air conditioning, insects net, beach towels, welcoming goodies) - the owner: Maria and her family has put so much passion into it; she is such a warm and welcoming person, making you feel as home Totally recommend the villa!

A lovely little villa for 2 , quiet , nice pool with a short walk to Tavernas and supermarkets.

Lovely property, very welcoming hosts, a few Tavernas and supermarkets within easy walking distance ( 5 mins)Great view , lovely and very clean pool. Great aircon, comfy bed.

The beach is not in close walking distance and you definitely need a car to get around the island . The wifi was very patchy but this is not the hosts fault. It is patchy all over the island .

A perfect holiday

Dreamcatcher is a lovely vila, not too small not too big, everything is in the right place, you feel like home and the pool...it's perfect! Maria is very attentive, she is always there for everything you need; his husband clean the pool every evening so you can enjoy it next day. What can you need more? You have at least 5 restaurants nearby and 2 supermarkets. You definetly need a car to explore the island.

Wonderful hosts

The hosts maria and illias were so lovely and friendly .They were wonderful and they couldn't do enough for us , Also they gave us lots of privacy . We much preferred it to a hotel because there wasn't the influx of people and it was very peaceful. The views from the villa are absolutely outstanding of Mt ainos and the sea looking over to zante. The shops and tavernas were a 5 minute walk away with everything you need also there are car hire places available if you wish to hire a car ,we can't thank maria and illias enough , The villa was perfect and so was the pool.We walked straight out the villa and into the pool to cool off . Thanks again for a holiday to remember regards Paul and louise cawdrey

beautiful villa, beautiful island.

communication with Maria was excellent right from the start. she met us at the property late at night and had left us some food and wine. during our stay she was in touch when needed but didn’t intrude. her husband cleaned the pool regularly and there was everything we needed at the villa. it was obvious Maria cared both about how she presented her property and about the people staying. the location was very good with amenities like supermarkets and restaurants and bars very nearby. the beach was about a 15 minute walk downhill and was beautiful. the views from the villa were good. I would recommend anyone to stay here.

private, lovely views, short walk to supermarkets and tavernas, comfortable and well equipped. hosts were excellent- really friendly and helpful without being intrusive

Amazing stay!!

Wow pretty much sums it up! The villa was modern, extremely clean and comfortable with everything you could wish for for a perfect stay. The villa was well equipped with kitchen utensils and appliances, hairdryer, iron and ironing board and load of information provided for the local area and island as a whole. Beautiful, clean bedding and towels provided for inside and outside of the villa and the bed is amazing! I slept so well in a really comfy bed with great pillows and bedding and the aircon in the bedroom and main living area were a huge bonus. Outside the villa was a beautiful pool with sun loungers, table and chairs and a shaded area to enjoy a cool drink while you take in the spectacular views of the sea and mountains. The villa is in a fantastic location near to the beach in a truly beautiful village. The village has a fantastic selection of restaurants, bars and shops (the nearest restaurant is literally a minutes walk away), but the villas remain completely quiet and peaceful. Maria and Ilias who own the villas are amazing hosts, nothing is too much trouble and they are there to help and advise with anything you may need both before and during your stay. We really appreciated the personal touches they gave to make our stay extra special including the stunning food waiting for us when we arrived and the beer in the fridge! It was so lovely to not have to go straight to she shops when we arrived for things like water and toilet rolls as they had provided all the essential needed for the beginning of our stay. I can’t wait to return in the future to enjoy the beautiful villa again and all that Kefalonia has to offer. Thank you Maria and Ilias for an amazing stay.

Beautiful scenery.

It is a stunning location and the accommodation was a lovely place to relax. The host Maria had a hot meal and wine awaiting our arrival. She went over and above to ensure we had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable…….Excellent host.

The beaches weren’t easily accessible. Car hire would definitely be recommended.

We were looking for a peaceful & tranquil holiday which we had. There’s enough amenities around to cater for shopping,eating out,& beach just down the road. With the island being small hire a car & visit some beautiful areas.

Excellent property in great location with outstanding host

Fantastic property exactly as described, Maria is an exceptional host and keeps in contact with you both before and throughout your stay should you need anything, even going the extra mile and providing a lovely homecooked meal and bottle of wine on our arrival. Hairdryer, iron, shampoo, shower gel, washing up liquid, croissants for breakfast, beach parasol all provided. Location is excellent with several tavernas still open in the village even though it was October, La Mer being outstanding. Walk down to Lourdas beach and bars was 15mins and about a 25min walk back up. Lovely beaches nearby. Easy access from airport and good central location to many other towns on the island. Would highly recommend a stay at this property.

Exceptional

The pictures simply don’t reflect how amazing this propert is! Its a new built with great facilities, incredible size pool and great location (if you drive/rent a car though) The place is very clean, well maintained and nicely decorated. the biggest compliment goes to the host though! Maria made sure we felt very welcome. We landed very late at night and only reached the property after 9pm and she welcomed us with a hot meal and a bottle of wine! No better way to start a holiday. 10/10 and highly recommend to anyone hoping to escape! Thank you Maria!

Holiday like in the dream

It was a honor to be the guests of Maria and Ilias. At first, the communication. Maria sent us very detailed explanation and better way to arrive to the house. Then we got to the apartment after the day on the beach. Maria surprised us with a tasty pizza. The house itself is very clean and well equipped. The linen smelled very pleasant. The wardrobe is so clean and smells also very pleasant. The shower is clean and smells pleasant. The location is great. There are a lot of restaurants and mini markets near to the house. Maria checked periodically on us whether everything is fine. We felt ourself like at home and cared of. We had a late flight and we were allowed to stay in the apartment very late close to our departure.

I utterly can’t think of anything.

The place of dreams

Maria and Ilias were fantastic hosts occasionally checking if we were okay but giving us lots of space to enjoy their villa and our holiday. Everything was amazing, the property is new, high spec, well equipped and the private pool was the best. Within a 5 min walk there's 2 supermarkets and 5 restaurants and a cocktail bar. Within a 5 min drive there's 3 different beaches which you could walk to also if you were happy with the hills. Despite everything being close we still felt a world away from everyone. Absolutely everything you need for a holiday, working holiday and lots of relaxation time. Will absolutely stay again, don't let the lack of reviews stop you booking, its new so ready for you!

Ideal villa for a couple or small family, great location and perfect hosts.

Lovely location with views to the sea and mountains, short walk to bars taverna's and supermarkets, Loved the private and pool. Nearby great small beaches to explore and well placed to visit other destinations, Argostoli, Kala, Maria and Ilias are fantastic hosts and kept us up to date on the danger warnings from the Medicane while we were there to ensure we stayed safe.

The most PERFECT getaway

The facilities, the view, the pool, the location- All perfect. Bed was really comfortable too. The sunrises and sunsets all viewable from the deck. Hosts were fantastic and the place was so clean. We had our towels and bedding changed 3times- clean pool towels were also provided. Everything you could need was thought of, and lovely little touches. Couldn’t fault it in anyway. Dreamy.
