heerlijk appartement.

Dat was wat lastiger de straat is niet zo logisch bij navraag aan een bewoner in de straat wisten ze ook niet waar het was. maar uiteindelijk wel gevonden.

alles was prima en goed verzorgd, mooi ingericht en compleet. we hadden een issue met de wasmachine maar die hebben ze keurig en snel opgelost.

Avoid at all costs

Not much to like, it’s definitely not as nice as the pictures make it look. It’s not a great area and you are treated like dirt by the management company!

Massively regrettable decision to stay here! They only say you need photo ID when you book (I have my NHS work ID)when you have paid, they say they will only accept a driving license or passport (I have neither) and they just say it’s non-negotiable and you aren’t entitled to a refund, they just will not allow you to stay if you don’t have either. I booked at the last minute on Christmas Eve to go away on Boxing Day, so had to spend a large part of my Christmas Day trying to get this resolved (I was working nights and should have been asleep). Even when Booking.com resolved it, they still didn’t send me the code for the key box, I had to chase them to get that but they gave me the wrong code! We’d had a long drive to Newcastle, arrived busting for the loo and had to sit on the floor in the lobby while they argued with me on the phone that they had sent the right code, made out I was an idiot because I couldn’t get it to work, then they hung up on me. Eventually they sent the correct code and claimed that’s what they had told me in the first place, despite clearly written evidence it wasn’t. The list of rules and regulations make you feel like a naughty school child and you can’t enjoy your stay because you are worried you will inadvertently break a rule and lose your security bond. I will avoid any property managed by these people, I’d rather stay at home

Self-catering spot to unwind in comfort.

This is a very cute flat with one bedroom and a pull-down bed in the lounge. I was alone so it felt palatial. The kitchen had everything you could need for self-catering and it was very comfortable for a few days stay. After a month of travelling it was also a great location for a rest day as I could just relax in the lounge and sort out my own meals. A real home from home. It was also a good base from which to visit some spots along Hadrian's Wall.

This is not a negative about the property but a tip for travelers who do not have their own transport: If you arrive at the station and have a lot of luggage it might be a good idea to take the bus or a taxi to the property as part of the walk includes a long incline. In addition, while there is a convenience store a few hundred meters away the choice is limited so it might be easiest to pick up some supplies at the station.

Good value for money and excellent location for exploring the city. The kitchen had all the utensils expected for self-catering.

The bed could do with replacing. It was clean but probably had its wear/use.

This was a very bad experience.

There was someone we could complain to .

lies . distance from centre was a lie . The fact that they sent me endless emails telling me how to behave otherwise I would have my deposit taken . At least ten times . I felt like a criminal before I entered the property. Worried about making any kind of mistake. This is undoubtedly the worst place I’ve ever been acquainted with ; and I have been to many BDC properties. Disgraceful.. This is a corporation who care less about the guests and more about money . Filthy dirty sheets on entry . Bed not made . Noisy Boiler . No curtains in the bedroom initially. One saucepan which was dirty and the handle about to fall off . Too many problems. Nasty .

Nice and quiet neighbourhood and the city centre was just a short walk away. Celebrations chocolates was a nice touch.

DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!! DO NOT USE “ PASS THE PROPERTY “ Absolutely appalling what they accused us of. They have charged us £40 for “extra cleaning” and accused of leaving the house dirty and left spilt milk on the kitchen counter, THIS IS UNTRUE as we have left the house clean and even provided proof of what the place looked like when we left as we took photos of every single rooms. Disgusting and dishonest people. I wish them nothing but karma! AVOID AVOID AVOID !!

Fantastic location, comfortable stay!

The location was fantastic within walking distance of city centre and metro lines. The bedroom and living room/kitchen/dining areas were very comfortable and had everything needed for our stay. Lovely quality bedding and plenty of towels. Very clean and welcoming. Excellent communication and instructions for our arrival - Would definitely stay again!

The bathroom was the only thing that let the apartment down. It was dated and in need of some general repairs (broken toilet seat, holes in flooring, sealant missing around the corner of the bath side)

birthday weekend was a success

Had a homely touch, everything was clean and it was not far from town. Property staff was easy to contact at all times and was helpful. There is parking outside which is great and small premier shop 5 min walk which was a life saver in the mornings! the apartment was easy to access!

we didn’t fault anything and we will definitely be back in the future!

Do not stay here

The decoration of the property was lovely

This property was absolutely filthy, I don’t believe for a second that this place was cleaned before our stay. white crusty stains on 6 out of the 11 cushions, blood stain on the bed sheet, filthy grimy bath, cutlery drawer was sticky, dirty tray in the oven, dirty plates in cupboard, dust every where, most of the blinds pulls are broken so they don’t open, the fan in the bathroom was so covered in dust I can’t believe it worked, when I was doing my makeup on the floor in front of the mirror a woodlouse strolled past me! I messaged the property every day and received an automatic response each time, they had no interest in resolving any issues.

Very good for a weekend (with baby)

Uncomplicated and good communication with the hosts, quiet area, cosy living room and bed room. Enough space for the 3 of us- extra bed in the living room! Baby felt very home! Bathtub!
