Super clean, beautiful property. Perfect for relaxation with the dogs.

The bird house is the PERSON place to relax and unwind with your pups. Paddle the Rainbow or Withalacooche and then catch sunset from the screened porch, dock or hammock! Dana, the owner, is great and very welcoming. Would lo stay here again and again!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The view is lovely and the setting very peaceful. Lots of bird calls and had a barn owl in the yard one day. Dana goes above and beyond as far as communication. We wanted to fish off the dock but it was weedy, so he and a friend came by boat to try to clear it out. So nice! We enjoyed using Dana’s kayaks to kayak the Rainbow River. Made a stop at Swampy’s and then floated back. Good nearby bike trails too. Also loved the screened-in porch! If you are looking for a quiet setting with room for animals, this is the place!

There are so many wonderful things to say about the bird house--the stellar hospitality of the host, the cleanliness of the property, the convenience to attractions and restaurants; however, the view from the screen porch is simply unbeatable. Even on a chilly December day, we were able to sit on the screen porch and enjoy the river view. The pictures on VRBO don't even do the view justice. The Bird House is so peaceful--the perfect spit to unwind. The yard is fenced and immaculate. When one enters the property, the foliage gave us a sense of an exotic resort and the feeling of privacy, yet we were close to all the things we wanted to see and do. My husband caught a bass right off the dock! The Blue gator is about 7 minutes away; one can rent boats there as well. Many thanks to Dana abd Pam for allowing us to get some much needed rest at this lovely, tranquil home. The hosts are awesome! We have been visiting this area for years, but this is my favorite home where we have stayed. We will absolutely be back to this little piece of heaven! Deborah and Ben

We had an amazing few days at this property. It was centrally located for us and had everything that we needed even a fenced yard for the dog to run around in. We would book it again.

My wife and I had a great weekend! We brought our Mitzi Skiff and Labrador and just disconnected. Dana is a great host! We highly recommend this property!

Our stay was absolutely delightful! The home was cozy and we loved the location on the river with the fire pit. It was exactly what we were hoping for and more. We would definitely come back!
