Location superb. House impeccably clean. Lovely property. Laundry and kitchen appliances and utensils were great.

Beds were much too hard.

Well situated for a single traveler or couple. Would be crowded with more than a three person family. Which was perfect for me. Not many places out there designed for a single traveler. The little space heater took the morning chill off the entire house easily !

Upstairs a bit too cramped to really relax in. Nicely appointed though!

location was fantastic, close to everything, but far enough away practically secluded. The grounds are fantastic as well, we would have been happy enough just staying there if Acadia weren't the point of our journey. Also, it took until our last day to see the namesake anchor.... really cool, would love to know the story behind that.

We couldn't find the remote for the a/c, but that ended up not being an issue at all, as the weather was great all week long. Also, the road leading to the cottage was a simple dirt road with plenty of potholes, DRIVE SLOWLY.
