About this docked boat rental
Very spacious, Comfortable and "super clean" Houseboat.
“Baycation” is a 44'x15' triple level upper deck Houseboat completely remodeled.
She has one master bedroom with queen size bed, very comfortable sleeper couch, and extendable single sleeper.
Full bathroom with very spacious shower. Complete with all toiletries and options of sunscreen if you forgot :)
And YES, everyone asks. There are 3 mirrors on board, one full length.
The galley is equipped with all your needs from home;
Manual and electric wine opener, cocktail mixer kit, blender and charcuterie board
Your cooking options are a BBQ Weber grill, convectional oven, plug in griddle and NUWAVE induction stove top. Microwave, coffee maker (with coffee and filters) and a Keurig machine
Refrigerator/freezer, beer/wine/water cooler and Ice maker.
All plush towels and linens...more than you will need
There are also very clean bathrooms available right next to the houseboat and a nearby laundry facility, if needed.
There is so much to do right in our area!
But, right in the marina, the houseboat comes with bikes, fishing rods and paddleboards.
We have a kayak rental, jet ski rental, fishing charter boats, snorkel/sunset cruise charter boat, private charters, a fish market, Cuban café, Dockside raw bar, upstairs is Old Tavernier Restaurant, (an amazing Italian Greek cuisine), all while staying secluded on the houseboat with all it's amenities.
We have beaches close by and a shopping center 1/4 mile away.
This is a great location as we are located at Mile Marker 90, the south end of Key Largo and the north end of Islamorada.
Our marina is located on the old road which runs parallel to overseas highway.
We are the very north end of Islamorada, where the highway changes down to two lanes and during high season that becomes bumper to bumper heading south, of which you don't have to drive through.
Our location is a great day trip to Key West and/or a great stop on your way to or back from key west.
By water, we are minutes (a paddleboard ride) to Tavernier Creek which gives you immediate access to Ocean side or Bayside.

She stays at the dock, she cannot be moved from the marina..
I have many guests that will bring a small boat or rent a small boat and you are more than welcome to tie up to the houseboat.
We also have trailer storage available with no extra charge.

You can leave Boston or New York on one of dozens of 3 to 2.5 hour daily direct flights to Ft. Lauderdale or Miami in the morning and be on board by early afternoon, in the tropics.
Of course, the winter season is most popular with temperatures in the 70's to low 80's for Nov-Mar with almost no rain (1-2 inches per month).
The Keys have half the summer rainfall that South Florida (e.g., Miami) does.
Our sea breezes and temperatures stay in the mid-to-high 80's & 90’s. That's why Floridians vacation in the Keys during the summer months given the great year-round weather.

Great place for our family to stay for 4 nights. Centrally located and many fun things to do nearby. Sitting on the top deck of the boat each night with a cocktail was a perfect way to end our busy days snorkeling and fishing.

I found this awesome house boat while looking for a 1 bedroom in Islamorada for a long weekend. We arrived Thursday afternoon and met Heidi who showed us all the fantastic items to the boat. We loved the location for afternoon oysters, breakfast Cuban coffee and treats, and activities. We also bought fish from the local fish market and 2 nights cooked on the boat. It was a fun adventure and the boat was perfect.

Heidi is a wonderful lady and her houseboat very clean, inviting and we thoroughly loved staying there. The only complaint was that the Marina property was lacking in cleanliness with garbage cans overflowing, and did not have any lids on them when we arrived and upon leaving. People we met in the area were very nice

A little cove of paradise! We stayed for a whole week and enjoyed every second. From the locals, to the location of the boat, the great food, and everything was clean. Would recommend to anyone!

This houseboat was a great alternative to a standard VRBO. Heidi, the owner was wonderful and helpful with local information. The location is wonderful and close to everything you could need. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby - 2 at the marina. My husband, doggy and I had a great stay. I highly recommend!!! Very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!!

If you are looking for a unique (in a good way!)travel experience then Baycation is for you. The houseboat is clean, updated decor, and has all the amenities you would need. Heidi is a great host and is responsive from check in to check out. The boat is surrounded by a close knit group of small business owners (kayak rental, bar and coffee shop). The pictures are an accurate representation of what to expect. Short drive to any restaurants or activities in Islamorada and nearby Keys.
We recommend Baycation.

We had stayed in Key West for four days and were looking for a romantic place to just relax and chill for a few days before heading home. Heidi met us at the boat and showed us everything. The boat was just as lovely as described on the app. She gave us tips on good restaurants, local in-season seafood, places not to miss and recommendations on tours, etc. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and her recommendations were spot on! Our favorites - Lazy Days for dinner and JSK Watersports for jet skis and snorkeling with Brad. We’ve stayed at several VRBOs over the years and we both agreed, Heidi’s houseboat is our favorite.

What a wonderful experience. Heidi was above and beyond the perfect hostess. The boat is in the friendliest marina around. The second night there was a little bit of wind and choppiness but the gentle sway of the boat had us sleeping 10 hours and 35 minutes. We loved it. The boat was great! We would do it again in a heartbeat.

Heidi has made this houseboat into the most amazing little coastal paradise in Islamorada. She was so accommodating - providing us with recommendations and maps before arrival - all of the way through from reservation to check out. The house boat décor is GORGEOUS! Pictures do not do it justice. We were only there for one night but we laid out, fished, used Heidi’s paddle boards, ate crab claws by the water and even listened to the live band dockside from the roof of her boat! So much FUN IN THE SUN in so little time! We loved our stay and hope to be back again someday!

My husband enjoyed fishing off the boat and we even saw a manatee in the marina when we returned from our jet ski snorkel trip (booked thru JSK Watersports - within the marina - would recommend this excursion!) We appreciated our stay even more after we left to stay at a fancy resort for the remainder of our trip and were missing the privacy and peace at the marina. Book this boat!

This place was absolutely perfect for our birthday celebration. Heidi took great care to make this a most memorable time for my husband and me. This is a very cool, laid back area and outdoor bar at dock, but to our surprise the restaurant located above was outstanding for both the menu and the service. The outdoor area of the bar can use a good clean up imo, but in no way affected our stay. The houseboat was immaculate, the accommodations were very comfortable, and the decor is beautiful. Everything we needed or could have wanted was there. The bartender actually delivered one of our snack meals on board the boat, so awesome. The bed, kitchen, shower, and outdoor seating on the boat were all very inviting. An enjoyable stay was made better by a gracious host. I hope we can one day return!

My husband and I are so happy we booked the baycation for our honeymoon!!! The houseboat was so perfect! The interior was so nicely done, it felt like home! The top deck was so spacious and beautiful with the comfortable lounge chairs, tiki lights and fun view! Heidi (the owner) went above and beyond to make sure we had an enjoyable stay! She is just the sweetest, and if you want to grab some drinks and have some laughs with her she is an ABSOLUTE blast!!!! Overnight stay was fun. Quarters tight as you would expect. Immaculately cleaned and easy to come and go. We didn't get a chance to explore that part of the Keys but the accommodations were very comfortable.

Heidi our host was great. Met us at the boat and went over everything. The amenities were perfect for the wife and I and the boat location is ideal for hitting Islamorada. My wife would catch some sun on the upper deck as I fished right of the back of the boat.
The Old Tavernier restaurant is a great spot to grab an exceptional meal with local atmosphere. We will definitely be recommending this to our friends and coming back.

The houseboat and our stay in Islamorada was everything we imagined and more. Heidi, our host, went out of her way to make my us feel welcomed. She even hung birthday decorations and had a bottle of champagne waiting for us when we arrived to celebrate my wife’s birthday!
The Marina was awesome and the people working there from Brad the Jetski guy to the Catamaran Crew to JT the Bartender at the Raw Bar were all super friendly and inviting. It was one of our funnest vacations and I’d highly recommend it.

We decided to try something different and Heidi’s houseboat was the perfect choice. The boat is parked right behind a restaurant and raw bar which we took advantage of. We also had a fantastic morning of fishing with Aaron who is a local fishing guide located right in the marina. I highly recommend the “Baycation” for those that are seeking something a little different.

The property was very nice. It had everything you needed. The boat was a pleasure to stay on for four days. Heidi was very helpful in explaining the boat details. Very peaceful at night to sleep on, no noise. Everyone within the marina new Heidi. The restaurant was vey good as was the Cubian coffee store. Shower was so small!! Had to use shower and bathroom outside the boat. I left the following day that I got there. Not at all worth the money I paid . It was a waste of my money I’m a disabled Veteran and on a fixed income. Would NEVER go back. The worst vacation I have ever had.

Bed sleeps amazing, the locals are amazing and the Host is THE HOSTESS WITH THE MOSTEST!!! Heidi the owner is simply the best. She LOVES taking care of her guest and she was so great to deal with. We loved her and all the locals we met so much. The bar and restaurants there in the marina are so much fun and the espresso martini in the upstairs italian restaurant at the marina is the best thing I have ever had. So all boat and water lovers will adore this spot and you simply cant beat briging your own little boat to cruise around. I loved loved loved this place!!!

Everything was great! The location was beautiful & convenient. The boat was clean & provided a fun relaxing experience. We loved that it was dog friendly too! My son fished from the boat daily while we relaxed on the top deck. Everyone was friendly & helpful in the Mariana. Hedi was awesome! She was kind & helpful. She suggested feeding the tarpon & that was a highlight of our trip. We used the paddle boards for a day of fishing leaving right out of the mariana. It was super easy! Overall a wonderful experience.
