About this apartment rental
The condo is located in the beautiful Kapalua Golf Villas on the northwest side of Maui. This newly updated 2 bedroom condo is our home away from home. Although the condo can sleep 6, (with a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room) this condo is excellent for two couples (or a family of 4) as it has two private master suites with Cal King beds in each. Each bedroom is separate and private from the other, with its own bath and shower. Please note: There is an additional fee of $30 per night per guest above four. For stays longer than 21 days (3 weeks) an interim clean is also required during the middle of your stay for an additional fee of $300.00
There are approximately 20 steps that lead down to the front door of our unit, from the parking area. The complex is built on the side of a hill so most units are either up 20 steps (the "V" Veranda units) or down 20 steps (the "P" Patio units) and some are "T" Terrace units with 0-2 steps to the front door. Only the Patio units are on the ground floor and accessible to the lawn. Our condo is a Patio unit and is also located on the upper level of the complex, which has the BEST ocean views. There are 4 pools on the property (Pool A, B, C, & D) .
The kitchen has been remodeled and extended to full size with all-new stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and travertine floors. It has all the amenities to provide a home-cooked meal. Staple items such as spices are available for your use and the kitchen is fully stocked with all the utensils you may need. There is 1380 sq. ft. living space with 3 flat-screen TVs (living room tv with apps) and free internet access.
The living room, dining room, and guest bedroom open directly to a lanai overlooking spectacular views of the ocean, Molokai, and Lanai islands, and leads out to the lawn. The lanai is the perfect place to sit, relax, drink your morning coffee or enjoy the gorgeous sunsets. Sunsets can be viewed clearly from the comfortable sofa in the living room or outside on the lanai.
There are activities almost too numerous to mention in this beautiful setting. If you enjoy taking long walks in nature, the village walking trails are only minutes away, offering six walking trails from easy to difficult.
For avid golfers, The Plantation Course is a must (home of the Sentry Tournament of Champions), and the Kapalua Bay Course. Kapalua Adventure Center offers Kapalua Ziplining and gives you the ability to fly across gulches on the West Maui mountains. Other nearby activities include tennis at the Kapalua Tennis Gardens; snorkeling, diving, surfing, stand-up paddleboarding, or just "laying out" at several of the best beaches in the world; Kapalua Bay, Napili Bay, Honolua Bay, D.T. Fleming, and Ironwoods Beach. After an energizing day of play, you can wind down at several of the finest restaurants in the area: Taverna, The Plantation House, Sansei, Merriman's, the Sea House Restaurant, and The Pourhouse Italian Restaurant and Bar---to mention only a few. Several restaurants are within walking distance and the rest are only minutes driving. There is also a free Kapalua shuttle service that can take you where you want to go within the Kapalua area. If you need some pampering, the ultimate relaxing and beauty experience awaits you at the Spa Montage, offering massages, and full salon services in the most spectacular setting overlooking the Pacific Ocean and view of the island of Lanai. The Spa Montage also has a complete fitness center with a hot tub and swimming pool available for a daily fee. If you like to shop, a short 12-minute drive will take you to Whaler's Village Shopping Senter. There you can shop for souvenirs at locally owned stores or for more upscale fashion visit the high-end designer shops. The Outlets of Maui also has many shops located in Lahaina on Front Street and there you can find the famous Hilo Hatties. There is so much more to do and see on the island of Maui, and we will have more information available in the condo when you arrive.

We arrived later at night and checked into a dirty villa. When the property manager called, she gave attitude and made it seem as though it was our fault. Not ideal customer service, and would not stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay in Kapalua thanks to finding this gem. Wonderful location, exactly as the pictures show, and outstanding communication with the owners. Tons of stuff in the kitchen, ALL the beach supplies, free shuttle around the neighborhood/direct to the beach and an overall very peaceful stay. I’d highly recommend this property and cannot wait to return. We were a family a four, with two kids. Perfect space for four.

We loved the location and amenities of this home! My husband is an avid golfer and golfed both courses while I hiked the ocean scenic trail. The information binder was very detailed and informative. Sheri was very helpful with suggestions and prompt with her responses. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Maui!

We have stayed at Kapalua multiple times and know the area and amenities well...it's our favorite place in the islands. This property raised the bar! It's incredibly well organized and set up, and the owners are equally thoughtful. We literally had no complaints. The patio area and separated (King!) bedrooms allowed the nappers and the adventurers in our family all space to enjoy. Kitchen has everything you need to cook at home when you want. Lots of beach gear so don't bother stopping at Costco. Hope to come back soon for the ocean and rainbow views. Mahalo

The property is beautiful, view is special, main pool is clean and gas bbq pits in great condition. Condo is well appointed with a fully stocked kitchen and special extras in the closet off the deck. The shuttle is perfect for trips to the beach and restaurants and very convenient. We had a great stay at this location.

This was our third timing renting a Kapalua golf villa.This stay was for a month. We thoroughly enjoyed this patio condo because of the location and amenities. Being located on the high road offers beautiful views of the sunset, ocean, Lanai and Molokai. The condo was nicely appointed, kitchen well stocked, and plenty of beach gear. Communication with the owner great. We had one small maintenance issue and Sheri responded immediately. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to friends and family.

We absolutely loved staying at Steve and Sheri’s home while in Hawaii! They were great to work with us and were very accommodating. We were very comfortable. The place was very clean when we arrived. They had lots of beach toys, beach chairs and items for us to use for the beach. We enjoyed the use of the shuttle to get us to beaches close by. The view from their home was amazing. We would for sure stay here again. Thanks again!

This condo was absolutely beautiful. The master bed was so amazingly comfortable. The location in Kapalua was great the walking trails were amazing. We would highly recommend this unit and would absolutely stay there again had everything we needed including beach chairs. This day the communication and everything made for a perfect vacation thank you so much for sharing your home with us!!

We have stayed at multiple Golf Villas over the years, but this was our first time renting a 2 bedroom unit. This unit was not only spacious, but also beautifully furnished and very well stocked. Everything we needed was here, and it was so comfortable that it felt like home. We also appreciated the extra beach items for use as well (chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas, beach bucket, etc). Views, of course, were exceptional and we love the fact that we can walk to so many amenities right on site (restaurants, shops, ABC store with food/grocery, church, walking trails, etc.) The owner was also extremely responsive in communications and very pleasant to deal with. Bottom line…we would highly recommend this condo, and we hope to book it again someday!

This was our 2nd stay in Kapalua. The grounds are gorgeous, the villa itself is beautiful and was equipped with everything we needed. We didn’t have any communication with the property manager, but the owners were responsive.

We’ve been to Maui many times and this was the best place hands down we’ve ever stayed at. Incredibly clean and comfortable! The owners truly thought of everything to make you an unforgettable vacation. Comfortable bed, ninja blender, stocked essentials, truly felt like a home away from home. I don’t ever leave reviews but this place was just super amazing! Everything you would ask for and really great people. Thank you!!

I can't even begin to say how amazing this property is and its convenient location in Maui. We have historically always stayed in Lahaina or Kaanapali - but the short drive up to Kapalua Golf Villas is definitely worth it.
The unit is really beautiful - you can tell kitchen and bedrooms were recently renovated. While there are neighbors, it feels completely private. Rooms are very spacious and kitchen had almost everything we needed. We spent the majority of our time on the outdoor porch and the pool below the unit and took advantage of the shuttle (HIGHLY recommended) to visit Merriman's for drinks, Honolua General Store and the various beaches on the Kapalua property. We never had to wait more than 5-10 mins for it to show up.
All-in-all: This will be our new go-to property in Maui moving forward. Great sunsets and uninterrupted views of Lanai and Molokai! Great hosts who make the entire trip carefree!

I stayed here with some girlfriends and had a great experience! The location of the property was perfect, being on the west side of the island we had beautiful beaches and must try restaurants all around us. The property looks just like the photos and we couldn’t ask for a better view.

What a perfect place to stay in Maui. We stayed six weeks and enjoyed every moment of the Condo and the Island. The condo is well appointed and was recently remodeled. The airconditioners worked great. The 2 bedrooms had enough separation between them for privacy. Walk down to the beach or take a quick car ride down to Napili/Kapalua/Ironwoods/DT Flemings beach or ride 15 minutes to the golden sands of Kaanapali beach. Enjoy the Rainbows from your lanai most mornings while having coffee. We even saw a "Moonbow" once at night. Heavenly.

Gorgeous setting, exactly as described
We loved this condo! We stayed at the Grand Wailea for a few days with our kids (ages 8 and 11) and then moved to this condo. Our kids (to our surprise) said they wish we had moved to the condo sooner! It's so peaceful and beautiful in the setting. The condo was exactly as described. The rooms are nice and big, beds are comfortable. The kitchen is really well stocked. The condo has so many amenities that are helpful-- beach chairs, snorkels, boogie boards, tennis rackets, etc. The patio is a beautiful place for a meal or relaxing with the view. The downsides are that the beach is far and the pools are meh. We ended up going down to the montage to swim which was super convenient because they have a parking lot for the public (follow the signs to the villas). There is also a shuttle you can call for rides, which we didn't do. There is a grocery store nearby which is convenient and several great restaurants. Each night we walked around the golf course to enjoy the stunning sunsets-- literally couldn't be more beautiful.
Overall a really wonderful stay and I would definitely come back. HIGHLY recommend.

Great unit fully outfitted with everything we needed. Very comfortable beds and updated kitchen. Wonderful views off the patio, particularly at sunset. Owners were very responsive and provided great info and recommendations for the area. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.
