About this house rental
This is the perfect "home base" for Colorado mountain fun! Surrounded by national forest and situated nearly 9000 feet up, there are activities for everyone. Fishing, rafting or kayaking on the Rio Grande River; camping; cross country skiing; down hill skiing/snowboarding at nearby Wolf Creek; 4-wheeling; shopping and dining in Creede; and even taking in a show at Creede Repertory Theatre. Or, just relax on the front porch and take in the magic of Creede. Located at the beginning of Main Street, you can easily stroll the heart of Creede and visit the shops, galleries, museum, theatre, etc. Or just look up Main Street and take in the view of Creede's magnificent cliffs. The beautiful adobe house is perfect for a couple, with a King bed in the master bedroom, adjoining a newly updated luxurious bath. Separate tub and shower are perfect for relaxing after a day spent hiking or on the slopes. There is a second bedroom with a twin over full bunk bed and half bath to comfortably accommodate children or extra guests. A rollaway bed can also be provided upon request.
Casa Kokopelli offers free wifi for our guests. Additionally, there is a 50" Smart TV with wifi on-board so that guests can log in to their personal Netflix, Amazon, or other accounts directly from the TV. An HDMI cable is provided as a convenience for connections to a computer, gaming device, Fire or Roku Stick, etc. Please note that there is no network TV available in Creede and similar to the majority of other local rental locations, Casa Kokopelli does not offer cable/satellite TV. We encourage our guests to view the beautiful mountain scenery instead!
Creede has now established designated routes for Off Highway Vehicles--giving easy access from town to the famous "Bachelor Loop." Every season offers its own beauty and escape.
Casa Kokopelli offers free wifi for our guests. We enjoyed the Casa. There is a lot of traffic during the day, but that’s the trade-off for being able to walk into town. The bed is very comfortable.

This little house is perfectly placed within walking distance of everything in Creede. Super convenient and nicely appointed. The bed is a bit hard for my liking but hey…I’m not complaining.

We enjoyed Casa Kokopelli. It was clean and spacious. Centrally located just a short walk from downtown Creede. We enjoyed a play at the repertory theater and driving around the area looking at waterfalls and old mines. I would recommend this to anyone. Reach out to the owner several days ahead of your visit if you have not received instructions on entry prior to arrival.

My partner and I had a nice, relaxing time at the cabin and used the quiet to recover from all the craziness of the holidays. If you stay after winter starts, be sure to bring your own necessities as the store hours can fluctuate without notice. Overall, the cabin and the town were lovely.

Location location location! Minutes away from shops, bakery, restaurants, theater and right on 149 in and out of town! Second stay and our favorite place to stay in Creede! You have all the appliances you need. They stay on top of things to make sure you have a wonderful experience

*Memorial Day Weekend 2023*
We loved this charming little adobe house right on the edge of town. Far enough away from the crowds, close enough to walk, or a very short car or UTV ride to the restaurants, shops, or grocery store.
Great parking if you bring your ATV(s) or UTV(s) with a generous lot. The house was clean, well appointed, dry cozy and comfortable. Great master bath with a luxurious shower and HUGE soaking tub. Very thankful for this after a long day of riding on the SxS.
We absolutely loved hearing the spring runoff through the open windows running by the property. It is a dream of ours to live by a creek or river to hear and fall asleep to nightly. It was very calming and one of our favorite things about this place!
This weekend was also the “Taste of Creede”. We were a little concerned with the town being over run and being miserable due to large crowds and everything that brings.
We couldn’t have been more wrong. “Opening Weekend” in Creede is a GREAT time to visit.
We will most certainly be back.

Nice house, well equipped! Quiet despite being on Main street! Close to stores and restaurants. Only issues were it smelled a bit like stale smoke even though there are signs all over the place saying NO SMOKING. Also, would be nice to have tv. There was a tv on the wall, but nothing connected to it. Dish or Direct tv would be a plus. Otherwise fantastic place!!!!

Easy walk to "downtown" and right across the street from Bristol Head Bakery and Big Doug's BBQ (two must-dos in Creede). Kitchen is modern and has everything you need. This is a great place to stay in one of our favorite undiscovered Colorado locations.

The house is nice. The kitchen is modern and well-equipped. The one negative - the immediate surroundings are commercial and tacky. The house is on the highway through Creede, and suffers from some traffic noise. Nevertheless, it is a short walk to town and the location is convenient. The house has one full bath, and one half-bath. It would be a bit awkward for two couples. It is fine for one couple, or a couple and their(non-teenage) children.
