My family and I had an incredible stay in this home. It was lovely and just as advertised, with all of the amenities we needed. In a prime location overlooking the nantucket sound, within a lovely, quiet community. Definitely recommend!

Overall a good place to stay. We enjoyed our stay. Very close to the beach even though you don't have a clear view on it (bushes preventing most of the view). Interior is nice and clean except for few windows. Only toilet paper and dish soap provided. Note that you have to bring your blankets since it is not provided. Listed as a kitchen very well equiped... but several key items not available: large lobster pot, measuring cup, cutting board, grater... so if you like to cook a lot you could be shorthanded sometimes.

The property is beautiful. Great family spot with amazing access to a private beach which is perfect with small kids. Steve was great to work with- very responsive and accommodating.
We found the property management company (in particular, Beth) to be challenging to work with but nothing that would prevent us from coming back.

The property is well described by the listing and the pictures don't do the view justice but do give you a great sense of the space. Steven was great to communicate with!

Great location, perfect house for a beach getaway!
We enjoyed our week and the house, while small was just the right size for the 6 of us. Short walk to the beach, provided charcoal grill and well equipped kitchen made our stay very enjoyable.

Ocean front stay
The location is perfect - so close to the beach you can go barefoot from the cottage to the beach and enjoy the warm water. The house has 2 decks with plenty of comfortable loungers and a great high top table that was a wonderful spot to enjoy lunch. You can take a 5 minute walk to The Ocean House for truly memorable dinners. Steve was very responsive and wants his guests to enjoy his lovely cottage and his slice of Cape heaven!

Great location!
We had such a wonderful time at this property. When we arrived it was apparent it was just thoroughly cleaned. The yard area and quick walk down to the beach were perfect with our family. Loved not having to drag loads of beach toys for a mile onto the beach. Definitely planning to stay here again next summer!!

Great house, great amenities.
Overall, this was a great rental. Quality was evident inside and out. The view was slightly limited by the sea roses (I'd have liked more ability to see the waves break), by this was just a minor issue. Other than that, my only complaint was the prohibition on gas grills. I'd have appreciated knowing that this cottage was connected with Dennis Seashores and thus there were more people on the beach than I'd anticipated, but this was not a big deal. I would go back.

World class place and people
What an amazing location and property. The view is outstanding, the cottage is very comfortable and well appointed, and Steve was so easy to work with and helpful. This is where we will stay the next time we come to the Cape.

Beautiful View
We were fortunate enough to rent Steve's home. The house was clean, roomy, and had a spectacular view of the ocean. The private beach was the icing on the cake. The owner went out of his way to make sure we had a wonderful vacation.

Special Destination!
Well I cannot say enough wonderful things about our recent stay. It all began with Steve, who could not have been kinder and more helpful. The home was situated on an amazing property on the cape looking over the ocean. You just want to sit outside all day because of the view and to sit on the ocean was just steps away. Everyone was friendly and quiet, Oh I cannot forget to mention the best outdoor shower. Thank you Steve for all you help. Thinking of staying ...book now for it will not be available without booking early. We hope to be back!

Great location!
Waking up with an ocean view and walking right onto the beach was amazing! Plenty of room for a family of 4 and 2 grandparents! Close for all our day trips around the cape and islands. The Central AC was a lifesaver in the 90 degree heat!

Best Spot on the Beach
The location of the property is fabulous and we were able to balance our time between the private beach and full deck. The laundry in the basement was great too. We brought our food for the week so we needed an additional car which caused a bit of a stir (the driveway can hold 5 cars).

Sun and activity
Loved the location. Can’t beat the view, outside sun and eating spots, outside shower was my favorite. Walking distance to bakery, coffee shop, four good restaurants and safe neighborhood to walk as well. Lots of birds and bunnies which were a bonus. Steve was a great host! Very close to rail trail, we did a lot of biking and you can rent kayaks and tour the river or go out to the ocean too.

Super cottage
The cottage is charming. Beautiful views of the ocean. Great sunrises. Water was warm. Had bunnies (5) come out everyday. Plenty of lawn furniture. Great washer and dryer. Inside had everything you will need for a great vacation (pots, dishes, etc). Only need to bring your food. The owner Steve was great. Thank you a great week Steve.

Right on the ocean, this property has a wonderful location.
We stayed at this property just in time to enjoy hurricane Jose. It was a tropical storm by the time it got there—really a nor’easter. But it was interesting to watch the wind on the waves.
We knew before we left that a storm was coming, so we loaded up on dvd’s After we arrived, we couldn’t find the DVD player. We contacted management and they said it had broken and they’d bring us a new one. By the time we got back later that afternoon, there it was!
One of the bathrooms was a little small, but we managed fairly easily for a week. We ate mostly at the house and saved a lot of money that way—kitchen had everything we needed and plenty of room for all of us (6) at the table.
We collected shells and had plenty of space to clean and polish them before we left—since we were inside so much because of the weather.
We made two day trips to Chatham—such a great town only 20 minutes away. We also went to Hyannis, that was 40 minutes away, I think? Both quite close.
The little village nearby was also very cute and had a wonderful organic food store.
The best part was being right on the beach and that allowed for us to have early morning walks and night time strolls. No need to drive anywhere or buy a beach pass. Was wonderful to just walk out the door. We would love to stay there again!

Beautiful Cottage on the Water
This is a lovely cottage and a perfect setting for a vacation at Cape Cod. The views were fantastic and it was wonderful to have all the outside seating for such a large group right on the water. The location was perfect - 20 minutes by bike to the Cape Cod Rail Trail, 30 minutes to the seals at Chatham, 1 hour to Province Town Whale Watching, and 5 minutes to kayaking and wonderful seafood restaurants. The only reason i would not give this beautiful home 5 stars is because the bathrooms are a bit dated and the second is extremely small if you have a larger group, but the outdoor shower made it possible for 9 of us to live happily for the week. I would definitely come back because it was a great fit for all of us - from my teenagers all the way up to my 80 year old father who sat happily on the deck all week looking out at the ocean. This cottage has everything you need for a fabulous vacation!

A little piece of Heaven
This was the most amazing vacation spot we have ever rented! From the beautiful home, spacious amounts of parking, to the beautiful beach just steps away. This was truly a home away from home. There are no substitutes for getting up in the AM and sitting drinking your coffee while watching the beautiful ocean waves. The home is everything it is described to be and more, pictures do not due it justice!

WE LOVE IT!
This place is simply beautiful....I searched for years to find the perfect spot on cape cod and this it it! We started going to the cape over 30 yrs ago, at that point we stayed at motels along rt 6, but as years went by I looked for nicer spots until I found this cottage..which is the apex....I search no more. The house is beautiful and the ocean view is spectacular...seen from almost every room in the cottage! And the moonlight reflecting off the ocean at night is unbelievable...up there with the whale sightings that we observe each year at nearby Provincetown....The property is clean, comfortable, and well maintained ...many thanks to the owner, Steve, for the updates over the years..we love everything about this place....and can't wait to return each year.

Summer Home Away from Home
My husband and I and our 3 children have been going to this cottage for 2 weeks in early summer for the past 16 years, along with my parents and a rotating list of my siblings. It really feels like our summer home. This comfortable, clean, well kept cottage easily sleeps 8 and has plenty of room so that on rainy "inside days" you are not tripping over each other. Having 2 baths AND an outside, private shower(my favorite) makes cleaning up after a day on the beach a breeze. While there are several restaurants within easy driving, and a few walking, distance we tend to stay "home", the kitchen is stocked for any type of cooking, there is a gas grill as well as a charcoal one and lets face it the views are spectacular. Sitting on the deck, a glass of wine, the smell of dinner on the grill and the moonlight coming up over the water... why would you go out? Our kids were 4,6,8 when we started and days were full of beach going, bike riding, kite flying and our yearly whale watching trip. Now they are 20, 22 and 24 and days are still full with golfing, kayaking, wind-surfing, biking on the very close Cape Cod bike trail, hiking on nearby Monomoy Wildlife Refuge and yes our yearly trip to P -Town to see the whales and window shop. Though they can no longer stay the whole 2 weeks they will not miss being there for at least part of it, as one of them said "it wouldn't be summer without going to "our cottage"
I would be remiss if I didn't mention the owner Steve, he always stops by to make sure everything is OK, if I even mention that the gas for the grill is low or the washer and dryer in the basement needs detergent it is replaced that day or by the latest the next. He really cares that you have a great, stress free time. Over the course of 16 years he has made several upgrades, AC, new kitchen, new furniture, big screen HD TV's and so it has become a tradition that on our drive there we try to guess what new surprise Steve may have in store for us this year and 2011 was no exception. New deck furniture for the second deck so you feel you are up in a captains chair looking out at the ocean... the new favorite morning coffee spot.
Highly recommended, you will not be disappointed.

A wonderful family retreat.
My husband Paul and I have been renting this cottage for 10 days each year for the past 26 years. Steve has become family and returning to this cottage is like coming home. The cottage is located on the beach with an uninterrupted view of the ocean and, on a clear day, Monomoy Island. The Master bedroom includes a connecting bathroom, and with the addition of the sliders, easy access to the yard overlooking the beach. Several years ago, the garage was converted into a second large bedroom, making this a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom cottage. There are 3 large screen TV's, one in the living room and one in each of the large bedrooms. The addition of wireless access was a welcome addition that allows us to stay in touch with family if we want. The kitchen has been redesigned and opens into the dining room that seats 8-10 comfortably. With the addition of the sliders and new windows off the dining room, the living room is comfortable, well lit and airy. The gas fireplace adds just the right ambiance for those nights when the chill comes off the water. Close to shopping, once the kitchen is stocked, there is no need to ever go anywhere in your car until you unfortunately are heading home. If you do choose to go sightseeing, Route 6 is conveniently close and takes you anywhere on the Cape. The smell of the ocean is crisp and clean. The sound of the seagulls can either be a welcome melody or an annoying cascade of noise that will leave you without any doubt of being 'On the Ocean'. The warmth of the cottage continues to bring us back year after year. If you are looking for a four star hotel with starched sheets, concierge service and stale air conditioned air this lovely cottage is not for you. If you are looking for the perfect place to bring your family for a relaxing beach experience, this is the place for you. Just don't try to rent during our 10 days. We will never give those days up. Linda

Our Home Away From Home
We have been staying at this cottage for over 25 years. We love it, our children love it and now the grandchildren love it.One son and new wife spent their honeymoon here. We have never had any major problem and if something was wrong all we did is report it and the matter was taken care of immediately. It is a lovely location for sight seeing, biking, walking, whale watching, fishing, kayaking, golfing and anything else. The kitchen is equipped for just about any type of cooking including the outside gas grill. There are many good restaurants within 20 to 30 minutes but we find many days we are so comfortable we just have a cocktail and watch the sunset right at home. ENJOY!

Terrific View With Issues
Just got back from our one week stay in this cottage. The reasons for the "good" rating is primarily due to the Mid-Cape, waterfront location of this cottage. It can't be beat! HOWEVER, be aware that one of the twin bedrooms (shown in pics) is a railroad room. You have to barge through it to get to the bedroom with the king bed. The listing states air conditioning and it is central, except for the king bed room. There is no heat in that room and we found the a/c in the closet. The main bathroom is teeny, tiny. The stall shower is less than 30" square, the area for the comode is much tighter and there's a large window at knee level so if you're not careful, EVERYONE in the compound knows what you're doing. Keep that shade down! I had to impose on our other couple to use their facilities. No hair dryers; we had to have the management office call the owner to locate the remote for the DVD player AFTER we went out and bought a 3-way outlet to accomodate the TV, Cable box and the DVD player; bad ant problem in the kitchen (we kept everything in the fridge or micro) and there were no instructions for the gas fireplace. That was just the cottage. As for Dennis Seashores, we felt that they keep the property perfectly. They're sweet & friendly; just a pleasure. Oh, yea, don't count on the WiFi. Unless it's a perfectly clear day AND you stand in front of the garage or behind the windmill office, you won't get access. I think that we're going to have to find another place to stay. For reasons of allergies, we need A/C so, we took this cottage. The only one with it. If the other cottages would provide A/C, I'd consider going back. Otherwise, no.

Our family stayed here last year for a week and had Thanksgiving there. We also got married on the beach!!! It is a beautiful place and the ocean is steps away.
