My family and my brother's family rented this house for a week. It was 4 teens ages 14-19 and 4 adults. We stayed at the beginning of August when temps were in the 80s with high humidity and a lot of rain. The house is spacious and easily accommodated our party. The hosts were reachable and responsive. We had an initial glitch the first night when we realized that there was AC only in the master bedroom, living room and dining room. The other 2 bedrooms only had ceiling fans and the occupants couldn't figure out how to leave the fan on but turn the lights off. Once we figured that out it was fine. There is also a dehumidifyer in the basement that we emptied regularly that significantly helped keep the downstairs cool too. It rained every day except one, so there was a lot of pool playing and board games, and one night of a fire in the firepit. The location was perfect for a hike at Dingman's ferry, a kayak trip down the delaware, and a movie. The house was well appointed, the facilities in the community nice, scenery beautiful and hosts responsive. All in all I would highly recommend and would rent here again.

We had a wonderful time. The property is beautiful. You can tell the owners cares about their property. The little touches went a long way. They even left us a welcome basket. Definitely a great place to stay. The community amenities are fantastic. We loved the pool. The entire community is well maintained. I would come back again.

The house was great large enough for our family to have space to spread out. The host Phil was very responsive, when questions arised. House was clean and the amenities were great. One exception was the deck furniture was not cleaned, my husband cleaned off the deck and out side eating area from downed leaves and minor tree debris. Other than that we had a wonderful time. We would rent this property again.

This property is amazing, it’s our second time staying here and we absolutely love it and will continue to come back!! We come with four adults and four kids and have the best time with endless fun! 2nd stay and we will come back again. Plenty of space. Great location in sawcreek and nice view of the woods in the back. Saw lots of deer this trip. Basement with the pool table always a hit. Look forward to next time.

My family and I stayed here for New Year’s to celebrate our family Xmas. It was ideal. Owners provided a wonderful environment for us and even provided a great welcome for my young grandchildren.

Our family decided to stay at this property over Christmas break. We needed to get away and relax. We were not able to enjoy the amenities of the property but that was because of course the kids were sick, however, upon arrival the owner walked us through the entire property in and out on the phone. When we walked into the kitchen we were treated with some snacks, a beautiful cake and fruit.
Let me tell you this house is beautiful, it is well maintained and exceeded our expectations. Each room has its own thermostat so that was great as our family can never agree on temperature. The living room with the fire place was our favorite place to hang out. The owner even left us items to make our own s’mores which we did. Every room is equipped with a large TV and already set up to watch Netflix, Disney, YouTube, etc.
This was by far my favorite place that I have ever stayed in at the Poconos. 10 out of 10 and I can’t wait to plan a spring summer trip to enjoy the outdoors more. The owners were the best owners I have ever felt with.

Great place, great property managers, ton of wild life, and great central pocono location. However, the gated community and the shear size of the community was not ideal for us. We typically like a more secluded place where we are asked less questions and have less lease accountability.

My family and I wanted to go away for the week for a fun forest escape. The place is surrounded by woods and off main paths. Tons of trails and beautiful community center allow for long walks, several minute drive to the pool and lake. Mattresses were comfortable, they have smart tvs in every room and even a fireplace. The owners left us a gift basket of s'mores and even treats for our dog. Great getaway!

This getaway home was amazing. From the moment I walked in I was hit was such a wonderful and good clean smelling aroma. The whole entire house was not only beautiful and spacious but so neat and well organized. I absolutely loved that the hosts left a Happy Birthday cake after I shared that it was multiple occasions that were being celebrated; my husband's birthday being one of them. Aside from being so thoughtful and leaving a cake for us, I was floored by our personalized letters that awaited us as well, not only was there one welcoming my husband and I but there was also a letter to my fur babies Bella and Yoda from the hosts fur baby Buster :) they also had left treats and goodies for us all. That was such a thoughtful gesture and left such a smile on my face, it just really warmed my heart. I had great communication with the hosts as well, from the moment I booked to the moment we arrived, throughout my stay when I had any questions all the way up to checking out. I can go on and on with my review lol but I'll just say we enjoyed our time so much that we ended up extending our stay for an extra day. My only advice would be to make sure for the days you're booking that all amenities that are available within the complex and activities or even restaurants around the area are open just to make the best of your time because on certain days of the week there was a lot of things closed. We cannot wait to return with the rest of our family. Thank you again.

The owners were responsive, kind, patient and flexible with us from the very beginning to the last day.
The house is well set up to be a comfy warm stay. The amenities available were also a huge plus(although we didn't take advantage of them, it was a very nice option).
The kitchen was well spaced out for mass cooking/baking & fridge was spotless.
We had shared our reason for travel was a birthday celebration & the owners surprised us with a birthday cake, all set up in a gorgeous glass cake dish.
It's the little things that make a trip & seeing my fiances face light up as we walked in was such a warm and comforting way to enter a new space.
Our fur babies loved the house. They were immediately comfortable and lounging around the basement(they preferred the carpeted space).
Toiletries ran low but instacart delivers to the house so we had all we needed without needing to venture to a store
Would book again and would certainly recommend for a nice relaxing quiet stay

This house is beautiful and clean. The orange game room has a slight mildew smell but I guess that's why they keep the door closed. Didn't care too much for the beds/bedroom so we slept on the sofa. The extra comforters were super comfy. Thought it was a decent experience until the host messaged me trying to scam me out of extra money 2wks after my stay. I don't know if I should blame them or VRBO for even allowing them to charge my card after so long.
Regardless I'll still give it 3 stars for the beautiful property, community was nice, and decent drive to Kalahari.

We booked this home for a fall getaway and could not have been happier with it. Phil and Gabbi are committed to providing their guests a special stay. Communication with the hosts is exceptional. Phil talks to you upon arrival and walks you through the home, answering questions and letting you know where to find everything this house has to offer- and there is a lot! We were greeted with an awesome welcome basket too. We had a lot of fun with the well stocked game room , pool table, and outdoor fire pit. The kitchen deserves its own shout out, as it provides everything you need to make your family’s favorite meals with ease. This home is immaculately kept, comfortable and cozy; a real retreat!

Dealing with Phil and Gabby was a pleasure. They took every step to ensure we enjoyed our stay. The house was immaculate when we arrived and everything was ready for our vacation. The house was 100% as advertised. When we arrived, Phil called me on the cell phone and walked me through the entire house. They left us a house warming basket with some snacks, wine, s’mores ingredients and special gifts for our dogs. To top it off there was a hand written note to us. The house was clean, had plenty of towels, coffee, spices and even had AC! The screened in porch was perfect for morning coffee and evening dinner. We truly felt like we were guests in their home. Phil & Gabby encouraged us to call if we needed anything. We look forward to renting from Phil & Gabby in the future. Highly recommend this sweet little vacation spot!

We loved this property and the surrounding, peaceful area. It was perfect for a family getaway with the kids. The house was cozy and clean, and the owners left lovely little amenities for us and for our dogs. Saw Creek Estates is a closed community with several pools (one with a hot tub!) and fitness center, all of which we had access to. Surrounding area has nice walks/hikes near the beautiful rivers. It was quiet and beautiful. Regarding the host: Phil was an IMPECCABLE host. Very easy to communicate with, prompt in all responses and courteous to a fault. Highly recommend this sweet little vacation spot!

Amazing trip
Right from the beginning our stay was amazing! The house was absolutely incredible, just as listed. Property manager reached out to us the day before to let us know the property would actually be ready for early check-in. Which we fully took advantage of!! Communication with the property manager continued to be excellent and responsive for the entire trip. The house had everything we needed. We really enjoyed the large kitchen, the multiple bathrooms (with jacuzzi tub), screened in porch, and fire pit. Our kids absolutely loved the video game room, pool table, multiple TVs, and of course the swimming pools! The community was welcoming and EVERY single person we ran into, and interacted with, was beyond friendly and helpful. Highly recommend a stay in this house and we hope to return.
