The view. Exceptional - as advertised. Comfy verandah and lounge. Quiet location and easily accessible to other areas.

Lack of cleanliness in a few areas. Mould in the laundry and bathroom and inside the bins in the kitchen. Property was overpriced for what it is. Broken furniture. Building work happening right next door from 7am which - we were told the Project Manager - the owner had specified to the agency offering the accommodation that any guests be told about and offered a discount. Evidently the previous guest before us saw it and got back in her car and drove off. Needless to say we were not told nor offered a discount. Quiet hours for the property are 10pm - 8am. Shame this overlaps with the aforementioned building work. Builders also parking in our drive so we had to park on the street. We were told by the booking agency to vacate an hour earlier than booked. I sent back a text with a photo of our check out time as per their booking but didn’t get a reply. Voicemail message left for same agency was not returned. I will be following up with them. One last thing - they offer a washing machine and clothes line but the few pegs there are were broken or did break when used. Only a small thing but I think for the price you’re paying per night the place needs a thorough check for little things like this AND a deep clean. I also found a placemat under one of the beds when I cleaned before we left.
