My wife and I wanted a nice quiet basecamp for visiting JTNP. Cheryl’s place was perfect. It’s almost to the end of a dirt road in an uber quiet neighborhood overlooking the valley. Altho the weather didn’t cooperate, we did get one beautiful sunrise over our 5 night stay. The drives to any of the north park entrances were easy peasy. The beds were comfy, the place and grounds were clean and tidy, and the kitchen was adequately stocked with cookware and stuff. Decent grocery stores in the valley and some good restaurants….Pies for the People had good pizza but stay away from Las Palmas. I’ve had better Mexican food 30 minutes south of the Canadian border. I’d stay there again 👍

What an amazing find close to Joshua Tree. Cheryl's place was amazingly well kept and clean. Has a very homely vibe. We felt very comfortable. Also the place is close enough to Joshua Tree yet very quiet and isolated. Lovely walk from the back to some wilderness and nice rock formations. Loved the stay there and will definitely be back.
