Book it … it’s brilliant

Everything about this property is beautiful. We had the suite of three rooms on the second floor. Even though I had read many favourable reviews, I was still pleasantly surprised by how wonderful this property is.

L'endroit parfait pour un long weekend en amoureux à Anvers

Ce B&B de charme est simplement parfait. Nous avons logé trois nuits dans la chambre "Burgundy", décorée avec goût avec un cachet délicieusement médiéval. L'endroit est très calme bien qu'à proximité immédiate de la Grand-Place et des rives de l'Escaut. Le personnel était aux petits soins pour nous, et les petits-déjeuners pantagruéliques. Un séjour parfait dans un lieu magnifique !

J'ai vraiment dû réfléchir très fort pour trouver quelque chose à mentionner : le tirage de la chasse d'eau qui laisse parfois à désirer. Mais c'est vraiment pour pinailler 😁

Originell wohnen in Antwerpen!

Geräumige, gemütliche und originell eingerichtete Suite (Burgundian) im 1. Stock, kleiner Balkon (ohne Aussicht). Schön einfach zurücklehnen und entspannen. Küche sehr nützlich, einfaches Frühstück im Zimmer. Unschlagbare Lage, wenige Schritte zum Kanal. Sehr ruhiges autofreies Quartier, teils noch alte Häuser. Ehem. Fleischhalle ganz nahe. Nicolas ist ein sehr zuvorkommender freundlicher Gastgeber und führt im Haus die Taverne, ideal für einen Schlummertrunk.

Completely brilliant! I didn’t stay long enough!

Absolutely everything! Can not fault it! I stayed on the Burgundian suite and is the most amazing room I have ever stayed in. Nicolas was fantastic and couldn’t do enough for me to make my stay perfect. The breakfast was incredible too. I have already recommended both Antwerp, and this accommodation to multiple people!

A total gem of an apartment with the kindest host who goes the extra mileto make you feel welcome and special.

This had so much wow factor, oozing character and history and charm whilst maintaining a contemporary feel too. There were lots of added extras like great WiFi, easy to access and use controls for lights and temperature. The host was exceptionally friendly, polite and helpful. The location is brilliant - so close to the centre and yet off a calm side street. The host could not have done more to make us more welcome and it felt like such a treat to be there, I couldn’t recommend it more highly.

Exceeds expectations, would stay again.

The owner is incredibly accommodating when it comes to breakfast. The rooms are large and well presented. Refrigerator is full of local beer and beverages, with very little mark up. The location is very quiet, but very well located and easy to walk to sights and restaurants.

This is an exceptional property: our host was so helpful, our room was beautifully designed, very comfortable, with everything we needed. Great location right near the town centre (but a quiet street) near bike route through town, good bike storage. The breakfast was great.

Memorable stay in the heart of Antwerp

Very unique historic property with thoughtful and modern touches. The room was spacious and beautifully furnished. Comfortable bed, modern bathroom, well stocked kitchenette, and nice terrace to enjoy fresh air. The host was very communicative, friendly and helpful to welcome us for our stay.

Location is a little hidden on quiet side streets, which made it a bit confusing to find at first, but this paid off with a quiet night in the neighborhood. Otherwise the location was great, very centrally located and walkable to many sites.

Perfect stay in Antwerp

The apartment is amazing, clean, well stocked and very spacious for our group of 6. The location can't be any better, quiet but just around the corner from the old town. The owner, Nicolas is so nice. He always makes sure that we have enough water and coffee. We loved the place.

Superb

A huge room with two bathrooms, suitable for 2 couples at a very reasonable price. The host was super friendly and very attentive. A very quiet place at night 2 min from the main Square. I would definitely book it again!

Exceptional

Everything was amazing: all clean, cleverly designed and masterfully kept. Warm and cozy feeling, with 21st century technology - comfort first. Quiet street, easy access to most points of interest. Nicolas the host kept our minds at ease and coming back to the room after a day of travel was something we looked forward to. If you choose the breakfast you will not be disappointed - a full and tasty meal with great company and music just downstairs.

No river view from our window as advertised, but the river itself was so close-by that it didn't matter.

Very good

Unique property in historic district, with lots of space , indoor and out.

The street outside was under construction, and the backhoe/ digger started up at 7am sharp.I realize that was a temporary situation, and one beyond the control of the host.

Exceptional

The owner and host was extremely thoughtful and made us feel very welcome. He was very accommodating and thought of everything you could need.. It was one of the biggest and most unique rooms we've ever rented. All of the history around us was very neat. We were directly across the street from Steen Castle and walking distance to so many restaurants and historic sites.

A hidden gem in wonderful Antwerp

our room was very large and comfortable.It had three beds and even two complete bathroom. Great showers and a fridge full of options. The breakfast cost extra, but it is well worth the price. our host Nicholas went way beyond normal in order to make our stay comfortable. It is a two minute walk to the main square. parking is also a three minute walk.

Superb base for a weekend in Antwerp

Gorgeous room, huge comfortable bed, lots of seating including a lovely terrace. Good shower room with plenty of good quality towels, robes and slippers. Fantastic location close to Het Steen and cathedral. Excellent breakfast too!

Historical but modern luxury suites with excellent service

Excellent location and the suite was very nicely prepared. The owner Nicolas was service-minded and made everything with extra effort. Travelling with 2 kids the suite was perfect as all of us had good beds and not standard extra beds. The breakfast was a good and we didn’t miss a thing!

Perfect, fantastic B&B, owner, location

Fantastic B&B, room was amazing, had a patio, very comfortable bed, large sitting area...great breakfast in the morning, wonderful location easy to walk to museums, boat rides, restaurants, shops...incredible choices, Nicolas the owner went out of his way to make us feel at home and comfortable, he also cooked incredible breakfasts, poached eggs were perfect, thank you Nicolas.
