The quietness and privacy was awesome. Waking to birds in the morning the best.. Not far to shops.

Met our needs. Comfy stay. Well maintained gardens and quiet. Linen on bed fresh and clean.
Bedroom was dusty and cob webs on side tables in bedroom. Floor was quite dirty but swept.

Large screen TV with DVD. Quietness. Facilities incl. Coffee machine, Nice outlook/view from window, but it wasn't going to be hard to beat my experience at the Robin Hood Inn in Drouin a few weeks earlier!
A comfy wing back style chair (so as not to use one of the kitchen chairs. All facilities/appointments were better than expected, and attention to things you don't normally get like salt & pepper mills.

a peaceful and comfortable stay, and I damaged my car on the road and the young man was such a huge help in removing the shattered glass and making it safe to drive home for which i am extremely grateful.

It was a lovely, homey place to stay in for a mini break away for me. I really liked the bedroom upstairs. The bed was nice and comfortable and the whole place had a very cosy feel to it. It was only a very short drive to the town where I was able to buy all the items I needed.

Lovely little location, self contained, super warm and cosy, everything we needed for a quick little getaway!
Fire was roaring upon arrival with plenty of wood to keep us warm for the entire time.

The wood fire and spa bath. Great place to stay in winter
Getting the fire going is difficult without fine kindling. I had to use a lot of fire starters. also some instructions for the wood heater would be good for those of us used to gas heating.

The fireplace. The shower. The friendly help we received from the owner and her mother-in-law.

Kitchen utensils were tired.
The wall between the two cottages upstairs is very thin(!)
The flowers were a nice touch, but were dead:)
The bathroom door had a big gap at the top (not very private!)
No information file on places to visit; how to use the fire; keep doors shut because of mosquitoes.
There were no instructions to use the DVD (which was unable to show bonus material on DVD, or separate sections of a series we wanted to watch - you could only watch episode one
A parked car blocked the only view out of the main downstairs window

A great location and lovely getaway cottage. Loved the Bath! Very comfortable and I would definitely stay again when in the region :)

The cottage was well equipped and well heated. The split system was very efficient and wood was supplied for the wood heater. The bathroom was modern. The water was very hot if needed. There was ample parking. The beds were comfortable and the couch was extremely comfortable. The surrounding environment was very relaxing amongst a plant farm. The atmosphere was inviting when we arrived with lights on and soft music playing. Communication was good with the owners.
The bathroom and bedroom privacy is limited with the floor and wall boards able to be seen and heard through the cracks which may bother some people. The lighting was dingy although fitted the period style.
