About this house rental

Fully renovated in 2014, this luxury home awaits you! We invite you to experience the comfort and sophisticated touches of our Nantucket style home designed and remodeled by Thomas J. O'Neill, acclaimed Cape Home Designer as highlighted in Cape Cod and Islands Home, Southern New England Home and Design New England magazines.

Walk into this bright and airy executive ranch with expansive 45 x 20 foot open concept Living, Dining and Kitchen Areas, complimented by 25 foot vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors and custom carpentry built-ins, trim and cabinetry. Enjoy the water view as you walk from the living room to deck with large gas grill, patio dining for 10.

Extras abound in this custom home starting with boston interior / restoration hardware' furnishings and fixtures, top-line marble, granite, hardwoods and travertine surfaces and gallery style kitchen appliances and bath fixtures.

2 Primary bedrooms (1 King and 1 Queen) each with en-suites and walk in closets (one with balcony overlooking the water) on first floor flanking each end of the home afford total privacy and provide spa-like retreats (including hotel quality bath-robes for each guest). A third (Queen) guest bedroom is also on the main floor with water views and a dedicated hallway bath. Fourth bedroom on lower-level with 2 twins adjoining separate family room, another full bath and direct access to garden, patio & dock through French Patio Doors. (When viewing photos, please use full screen mode as many are in panoramic view to give you full scope of rooms.)

Our Deep-water dock will accommodate your (own or rented) Motor or Sailboat up to 25 feet comfortably. 4 Kayak's and 2 stand up paddle boards also on site for your water-craft enjoyment, easily launched from our Dock with ladder. We provide a minimum of 4 adult bicycles, 8 beach chairs, 1 umbrella, 1 beach buggy, coolers and other miscellaneous beach gear. (Flotation vests as well as bicycle helmits are also provided for your safety). We also offer lawn games (corn-hole / giant jenga) and a full assortment of puzzles and family games.

You have two beach options available to you...The semi-public popponesset spit, a barrier beach, is accessible by Kayak, Bike or Foot (approx 1.5 land miles or .5 nautical miles away). South Cape beach is a public state beach with parking (for a fee) approx. 2.7 miles away.

What else do you need? Almost nothing...Beach, Bath and Bed linens are included as well as two laundry areas (1 up, 1 down) and additional full size fridge on the lower level. Paper goods (paper towels, toilet paper), laundry and cleaning detergents and soaps are also provided in your rental fee.

Popponesset Island is the most exclusive neighborhood in New Seabury. Only 69 homes are fortunate enough to claim this gem of an island as our safe harbor. Beautiful gardens and harbor vistas abound and quickly fill you with a sense of calm and serenity. For the boater, we sit in a protected cul-de-sac on the Poppoesset Creek system opening to the Nantucket Sound- less than 6 miles to Martha's Vineyard on your craft. By Kayak you can quickly access the Popponesset Spit barrier beach and wildlife refuge popular for beach goers, birders, clammers and fisherman alike.

For those not familiar with New Seabury and Mashpee, our location is a quick 25 minutes past the Bourne bridge (quicker to get to enjoy your vacation vs. the outer and lower cape towns) and is heralded as one of the fastest growing towns in Massachusetts. We have many upscale shopping and dining options, and activities for young and old. Many visitors fall in love with the local Popponesset Marketplace, a quaint assembly of shops 's and eateries including the renowned Raw Bar and its famous lobster roll. Live entertainment can be found here Thurs-Saturday eves, a real treat for youngsters, along with it's mini golf course. Geographically, we are 7 miles from historic Falmouth and 10 miles from Kennedy famous Hyannis on the route 28 corridor.

Had a great time and enjoyed kayaking and walking around the spit. We even caught clams with our toes and ate them!

This is a perfect family vacation house! The house is a great layout for everyone to have both their own space and also spend time together. The built-in activities (walking, swimming, biking, kayaking and paddle board) make for lots of summer fun! And of course you can’t beat the location. We felt comfortable and our kids were thrilled to wander/bike around New Seabury on their own. A slice of Norman Rockwell’s Americana.

Close to everything yet peaceful area. Approx 20 min to ferry for Martha’s Vineyard. Minutes from wonderful seafood ( The Raw Bar) Few minutes from beach. Our host provided ideas for dining, information on local beaches and was most helpful! A must stay if you want a quiet, secluded and enjoyable experience.. hopefully a do over again!

We were in town for a quick work conference. The house was beautiful and spotless. Anne checked in before we arrived and after to make sure everything was up to par. The best part were the kayaks my business partners and I got to use after the conference. Definitely will be booking again.
