Hotel is veel te duur maar ontbijt en restaurant zijn hun geld zeker waard

Fantastisch ontbijt en dito restaurant , vraag een kamer aan de achterkant of je ziet en hoort de drukke baan ; ze waren super vriendelijk en hebben ons kamer direct geruild naar een kamer aan de achterkant , veel rustiger ; kamers hebben hun leeftijd maar zijn proper , behalve het terras : dat is in maanden niet gepoetst er liggen zelfs oude sigaretten en overal onkruid dat is jammer ; hotel is goed maar zeker zijn prijs niet waard , het ontbijt en de restaurant wel !

Zonnig weekend op de Veluwe

Dik in orde, mooie schone kamer en faciliteiten waren allemaal aanwezig. Wij konden niet meer terecht in restaurant maar kregen een hele leuke suggestie van het hotel en hebben daar meer dan prima gegeten. Leuke ervaring, ik zal het zo nog een keer doen maar dan met arrangement erbij zodat ik de totaal beleving kan ervaren. Personeel was allemaal vriendelijk en behulpzaam en een dikke 10 voor de locatie!

Kamer niet gereed gemaakt voor 2 personen, deuren naar balkon kunnen wel open maar niet in een veilige stand, dus inbraakgevoelig. Nespresso apparaat was defect

Very good.

Room very comfortable and well equipped. We had quiet room as requested, and check in was extremely efficient with amicable front desk staff. Parking excellent, and was the availability of bikes for a reasonable price (essential for a great Veluwe experience)

Spa area could have been a bit better appointed with a better/cleaner outside relax area.

Very nice hotel, surrounded with lot of trees. Close to street, but still quite place. Very friendly and polite staff. Nice rooms, comfortable, clean, big, with balcony. Enough space for parking. You can rent also bikes there. Really good breakfast. Nice bar which is opened till late night and you can get there really good wines.

If you come on weekend, check really in advance if they have free place in restaurant for dinner. Otherwise it's quite a big problem to find restaurant in city which is opened bit longer (most of them close kitchens at 8 pm or 9 pm)

Very comfortable beds, lovely room

We loved the room. The food was pretentious and unremarkable and incredibly expensive. Nothing memorable about the “tasting menu”, Breakfast at euro 22 per person also left a lot to be desired. A real shame as the hotel, garden and rooms were lovely. So recommend the hotel but skip the food.

The road in front of the hotel is quite noisy. Take a room in the back if possible.

4 star experience for a 5 star price

The tower room (4th floor) was fabulous. Almost 360 degrees view on the forest surrounding the hotel. Sitting in the living room, you just see tree tops all around you. Spa and gym were nice too.

No hair conditioner! Why?? Who needs body lotion anyway? When traveling I recon on 4 and 5 star hotels to provide conditioner. Here they deemed this bathroom item not necessary, so my hair was a mess as a result. Staff didn't want to help me out on this one. Then: hotel "gastronomique" but a restaurant with just one menu. A good one, sure, but the next night we had to go out and find dinner elsewhere. Breakfast: pancakes from the supermarket, scrambled eggs baked too far (dry crumbles). Suite: the balcony was too dirty to enter (birds had made it their home). Chairs and tabels in the living room were old and worn down / damaged (laminated wood furniture, in 2021, really?). House keeping skipped us one day, we were forgotten.

The stay was OK to GOOD but not 5 stars ? If it was 4 star then the expectation would not be so high

Breakfast was good , staff at breakfast were really nice Room was OK but a bit on the small side. Glasses and towels were not replaced the first day Would have been nice to have the choice to eat outside 2nd and third evening but we were told there was insufficient staff to do inside and out Only one dining option on third evening we wanted to eat in bar but it was closed at 6.30? However we were allowed to only have one course and coffee in the main dining room but had to get permission for this Food in restaurant was good - very good but very little choice not expected this for a 5 * hotel Overall staff were very friendly Plenty of good free parking Balcony was good , nice and big and good view of the garden but no table and a bit noisy because of proximity to main road

Check in was not efficient . Key I was given did not work ( OK that happens ) but then I had to wait ages for the receptionist to finish a long phone call before she fixed it ....she could have done this while still on the phone its not complicated . Someone spilt something in the lift and it was like that from late afternoon and all evening , when we mentioned it to the receptionist she laughed , said she knew but did nothing about it ??

Perfect for a relaxing and comfy stay

Excellent location and very good food.

Very good breakfast and diners despite the COVID situation. The wine in particular was excellent. The swimming pool is also very nice. You can rent bikes with the children sits and the location is amazing with a lot of landmarks nearby.

The bedrooms could be slightly bigger considering the value of the hotel.

Some days in the forest

The people in the reception was very helpful. The room was big, clean with an Amazing terrace. The bed was very comfortable You can rent bikes there if you wish The breakfast baskets are very complete and with a lot of things to choose even if they are a little bit expensive! They had open the wellness area (with reservation only) and we enjoyed it very much!

We did the reservation of the dinner by booking, but when we arrived they didn’t knew about the reservation. They included us for the dinner anyway, but they didn’t have in consideration my allergy to the red wine (that was mentioned previously ). At the end we finish dinning very late because of this, even if they solve the problem with the food very quickly. For this reason we didn’t have more lunch/dinners in this place.
