Great and superb

Accessibility, facilities clean

The fact that one staff member asked me to pre-pay for my stay while the other was happy that I pay when I get to the property. I have stayed at the hotel before and have never been asked before to prepay .

Best weekend ever.

Spent the most amazing weekend with my partner at "The Edward" it was so warm and welcoming. Their staff are so friendly, respectful and on the double. Their breakfast was absolutely amazing a lovely view of the beach . You guys have beautiful service well done!Definitely will be back 😀

I had an amazing stay at The Edward hotel

The staff was exceptionally friendly and they made us feel at home. Our rooms were always clean, we had clean towels and we could contact the staff when ever and they would meet our requests with no complaints.

The fact that our aircon and fridge didn’t but we complained and they moved us to another room.

The breakfast was good. Staff helped me with my luggage since I got parking across the road.

Water took too long to be hot. I wasn't prepared to take a cold bath so I ended up running the tub until the water was hot thereby wasting the scarce resource unintentionally. I had a side view of the ocean, I paid almost R2000 for the room and I was very disappointed by not having a good view. Parking across the road.

We had an awesome time and will definitely be back.

Staff were very efficient and helpful which made check-in a pleasant experience. The location was perfect with a fantastic view of the ocean. The staff at breakfast were amazing and did whatever possible to ensure we got what we required. Will definitely stay there again.

We ordered dinner after arriving and my Natal lamb curry on bone was not 4 star quality..more bone than meat..white rice served in lieu of savoury rice per menu.. sambals not served..had to call for them. My wife's 500g T bone steak was equally disappointing.It was so thin it should have been called a schnitzel!... Breakfast was fair but not 4 star quality. Danish tarts were hard as moon rocks but crumpets and scones were very nice. Cheese hard n stale otherwise eggs and potato bake nice...sausages and bacon too tough n chewy.... Cappuccino very nice

Food needs to be upgraded to 4 star quality

The room was very spacious and there was a very good selection for the included breakfast. The reception staff were very helpful.

The window in the room wasn't completely shut, possibly needed repairing so there was a little noise. The tea/coffee serving in the morning was a little slow. The bar closing at 10pm was a bit too early and disappointing but these were just minor issues.
