"Sunset Haven" is located in the heart of Suncadia Resort, on the 18th Hole of the award winning Prospector Golf Course. Walk to the Prospector Clubhouse or The Lodge for dining and recreation! This tastefully decorated, 2,600 sq. ft. home features a very comfortable open-concept great room with a large sectional and a wall of windows facing the golf course. The great room is accented by a floor to ceiling ledge stone gas fireplace and a 50” TV with Cable.
Just a few steps off the great room is a private covered patio with fabulous golf course views, a gas fire pit, private hot tub, and plenty of comfortable outdoor furniture. The covered patio makes it a great spot to sit back and relax year round!
The well-stocked chef’s kitchen boasts stainless appliances and a large, granite center island for preparing fantastic in-home meals. The dining table seats 8 comfortably, with additional seating for 4 at the kitchen island.
Just off the great room is a Twin over Full Bunk Room with a private door leading to the back patio. Upstairs are 3 additional bedrooms and bathrooms. The larger of the 2 master suites is furnished with a King Bed, and a Twin Bed with a Twin Trundle. The private bath is accented by a walk-in shower and a jetted soaking tub. The 2nd master suite contains a King Bed and a private bath. The third bedroom on the second floor features a Queen Bed and is supported by a double sink guest bath just outside the door. The living room has 1 pull-out chair for additional sleeping and just down the hallway is a 1/2 bath.

We were very pleased with the layout of this home. It was in a very good location with lots of hiking trails close by. We reported the non working disposal which soon started again. The home was clean, however, when stripping the beds before we left, the pillows and mattress pads were quite soiled as were the dining chairs. There was a small leak in the kitchen sink which we discovered when we went for more garbage bags.

We have stayed at this home before and it was amazing but a few things need fixing or updating to maintain the perfect experience. We had to call to have the fireplace fixed as it would not ignite. After the repair person left the fan came on and it was so loud you couldn’t hear a conversation over it. The hot tub didn’t stay hot and when the jets were turned on it circulated very cold water. 85 was about as high as it got so our young daughters braved it but not adults.

Great spot for a family Thanksgiving
We had family join us in Suncadia for Thanksgiving. The kids loved the hot tub, the adults loved the kitchen. The house is close to the lodge, and not far from some good hiking trails.

Overall the house was in a great spot with great outdoor accommodations and perfect walking distance to the winery and lodge.
Things to maybe upgrade or replace:
Couches are pretty worn and hard to get out of
No master closet to hang up your clothes
Need throw Blankets for downstairs when watching TV
Kitchen counter coffee pots are old and need updated
Pots and pans (not a good variety for cooking)
Stem ware for more than 4 people
Utensils for cooking (not a good variety)
It says 4 bedrooms but actually 3 for the 4th bedroom has no closet and glass doors to the living area and outside patio. Not a good space for children to sleep or adults with the noise from the main living area. It is an office space for sure.

Very nice for a family. Beds were extremely comfortable and bedrooms stayed quiet with loud preschool children running around downstairs. Great kitchen cooking equipment; but baking utensils lacking. Easy to find, excellent instructions. Missing a bit of coffee or sugar for first am coffee! Spotless; but dusty(maybe no one has been there recently) Would stay here again. Location was great and deer in the yard everyday! Hot tub and outdoor gas fire pit fabulous!

The house was very nice! The location was quiet and serene, located on the golf course. The hot tub was a huge hit with the family...and it was clean as a whistle and the perfect temp. My only nitpicks at this property and they are pretty small...one of the guest beds was pretty creaky. Move just a a little and it'll creak loud enough to wake you up. The master bath shower has a bit of a drainage issue and the carpets are a bit mashed and either need to be steam cleaned or replaced. Aside from these things, and trust me, they are small things...this place was great. Would stay here again.

We so enjoyed this place. It is quiet and big rooms and bathrooms. Well stocked/ the kitchen was so well stocked with pots and pans and ladles and everything.
Only downside was that the dishwasher was broken and we had to hand wash the first evening and night: but it was promptly fixed the next day.

The property itself is fine and in a good location but is not well maintained. With good cleaning and regular maintenance it would be nice but I wouldn’t take the chance to book again. Surprising since it had good ratings when we booked it. I would rate it 2.5 stars for location and removed the rest of the stars for cleanliness. Examples of poor cleanliness and maintenance:- dryer door has to be held closed with 5 gallon paint buckets or it won’t work. You wonder why there are random 5 gallon buckets in the laundry room when you walk in... well when you go to dry your laundry and realize you need something heavy to keep the door closed....- dishwasher lower drawer does not slide out. You have to lift it out. Half of the silverware baskets are completely melted through and unusable. You start thinking your losing your mind when you keep putting spoons in the basket and then hearing them clank when they fall through to the dishwasher. That’s when you find out you were indeed not missing the silverware basket, the basket was just a quick stop on the way to the bottom of the dishwasher. - refrigerator water dispenser just doesn’t work- dishes and silverware that were in the cupboards were dirty. It wasn’t just a one off situation. Nearly every dish I pulled out to use was not clean. A lot of the cooking utensils are melted or don’t function well. Bring your own can opener (the one there stinks) and knives... there are a lot of knives available but they are mostly very dull. - very dusty. Main surfaces looked dusted but there were piles of dust along baseboards and on top of the tv and thick impossible to miss cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. - the barstools are completely stained and dirty looking. - the bathtub in the master bathroom was not clean (it had dirt in the main basin)- it is strange that it notes not to remove the duvet covers or pillow shams unless they are soiled. So... not clear if they are washed or replaced between guests. I understand rental properties are more high use and have stayed in a handful of properties in Suncadia, but this is the one property I would not book another time. I’m not sure if the condition of the place has been communicated to the owners or if they are unaware of the cleanliness and repairs needed. If it was clean and better maintained it’s a great location.

Wonderful property, everything was as advertised. Clean and well stocked kitchen. Kids had a blast. Love the nice touch of having lanterns outside for the evenings. Had a little problem with the screen door leading to the patio, usual thing, may be some tuning needed.

We did a girls trip and we had plenty of room to talk around the island, sit at the long table, and sit around and watch shows on the couch. Plenty of beds and room for sleeping also. The kitchen is huge, but may not have everything you need. The hot tub and undercover area was great and the location is excellent.
