Super Aufenthalt gerne wieder

Hotel und Personal wie immer von der besten Seite gezeigt. Zimmer waren sauber und Personal Freundlich auch das Frühstück war sehr gut also wie immer ein rundum toller Aufenthalt.

Leider war das Restaurant schon sehr früh sehr voll und wirkte ein wenig zu voll für die Anzahl der Gäste auch das Personal wirkte ein wenig gestresst.

Nur eine Nacht, aber dafür sehr angenehm

Das Haus liegt wunderbar zwischen Rennbahn und Elbe, mit sehr gutem Anschluß an den ÖNPV. Das Front-Office-Personal war sehr höflich und professionell, es wurde ohne Nachfrage jede Auskunft gegeben, die man für den Aufenthalt benötigte. Die Zimmer waren groß und freundlich; obwohl wir zur Straße raus lagen, war es sehr ruhig. Die Einrichtung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber sauber und gut gepflegt. Die Beleuchtung war etwas funzelig, aber noch ausreichend. Der Fernseher könnte größer sein (passt dann aber nicht mehr in den schönen TV-Schrank), aber wir waren ja nicht für einen Serien-Marathon gekommen. Die Parkmöglichkeiten vor dem Hotel sind kostenfrei und bereits ausreichend, der Hotel-Parkplatz ergänzt das Angebot um weitere Kapazitäten. Der CheckOut war problemlos und die Verabschiedung angemessen und freundlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Very clean, friendly staff, nice pool, spacious room

Jacuzzi was only warm. It could’ve been hot, or at least give the guest control to turn the jacuzzi heat on when they want to use it.

Quite remarkable setting. Really good restaurant and breakfast Let down by detail in the room

The location, the dinning room architecture, the surrounding park land.the way our evening meal was cooked and in particular the man who was our waiter for the evening.His watchful eye and knowledge meant we are looked after properly and professionally and he knew about the history when asked..Breakfast continued with proper 5 star stuff with a huge choice. .

I really hate it when an accountant has been let loose on the numbers.I did not like the concept of charging 16 Euros to park.1 more than 15 which was the obvious number..The moment we started to use our room.you could tell a bean counter has been given access to the system. Miminimsl provision of toiletries.2 identical bottle of shower gel.That was it..A smallish towel each which was on the verg of being threadbare.A shower with old fashioned 2 tap controls and a Plastic 2 part door just past it's sell by date. The smallest electric kettle available which would not work in the electric point on the floor beside but did in the second by the bed..and then an really appalling presentation of what could be used for morning coffe or tea.It looked terrible and it was The herble tea offering of one bag was silly.Especial when you then proceed to breakfast proper and saw what could be done. A shame since the building and all the staff we met were a delight and the the setting remarkable.

- the hotel is located in a beautiful park, right next to the Elbauenpark - not far from the center - a delicious breakfast where everyone can choose - spacious room - convenient parking at the hotel - a pleasant rest for us during a long journey

The location is superb. You will feel like you are staying in a garden.

Beautiful hotel

Spectacular hotel, set in a spectacular setting with exceptional service levels and friendliness. Restaurant was was excellent and even when full they still managed to find space for us. We will return.

Lovely hotel -- you must book dinner in advance!

The hotel is set in wonderful parkland on the outskirts of Magadaburg, the rooms were tasteful decorated and furnished as a late 18th/early 19th century spar. We had a big bathroom and a lovely room in the eves of the building. The breakfast buffet had a large selection of items and the swimming pool and sauna were well appointed. Though the pool was a little small.

We would liked to have eaten dinner in the resturant but it was fully booked. It would be useful if guests could be advised of the need to book in advance as this avoids disappointment. Car parking was very tricky and we had to park in the paid carpark as all the free spaces were taken. Its was a little annoying to find that the hotel had an EV charging point (which we could have used) but it was not clearly signposted.

Some facilities seem a bit outdated. We were told that it was not sure we could get a place at the restaurant. For a “remotely located” hotel, you should be secured a place if you are a guest as there are not other options around.

Superb

we are used to get a stop there when we are travelling trough germany and this has been always a very nice experience. Hotel is veru well located , furniture are not new but very clean as well as the room ; staff is also always very helpfull . Unluckily we have no times enough tp stay longer than one night .

Breakfast price is really too high compare with what it is proposed

Overall a great stay in a nice hotel and location

Great spacious rooms, quiet location with a good connection to the city. Rich breakfast selection.

In my room there has been some draft beneath the windows on the floor.

the location is great but the personal are lacking and f empathy.

the location and the food

the bathroom was a shame: the shower door broken, the toilet cap moving, dirty black marks everywhere. Also, we asked to clean the room but my wife, who is German, didn’t understood thearrival instructions at the reception about the cleaning policies, so we received 4 drinks vouchers to skip the room cleaning. once we realised it, we asked to change it because we would like our room to be cleaned every day and the receptionist deny this request, so 0 flexibility. Also, our hall was always in the dark, lights were always off for an unknown reason. I bought my own toilet paper after waiting 3 days from the personal to clean the room, also we asked for a dinner table one night and they mentioned that they don’t have any available one, so we asked for a room service and they answer was the hotel is not having personal to do it, so we picked our 75€ 2 meals from the kitchen by ourselves. All of this after expending 1000€ in a dinner with our friends at the restaurant on Friday 10th…and this is a 4 star plus hotel? I don’t think so. this is the first and last time we’re staying here.

Won't be our favorite

The staff was friendly and helpful. Good options at the bar and in the restaurant. Hotel is located in a park, which will be lovely for a summer visit and hang out outside.

Hotel is very outdated. The room we had wasn't cozy at all. Bed was very low, good mattress, though. Baby cot wasn't comfortable for our little one, didn't have a proper mattress/insert, and you could feel the legs of if thru where the child was sleeping - ended up sleeping in bed with us. Old bathroom/shower. In the room, besides the bed, you can sit only on a single armchair with wooden armrest (also to watch TV). It wasn't a comfortable place you want to crash after a long day/drive. Nothing in the mini bar, no coffee machine/water cooker in the room either.
