Excellent service with a fantastic swimming pool

The friendly staff and service. They made sure we felt very much at home and helped.

Smoking. Why in 2023 do you still allow smokers to light up and breath their smoke around a swimming pool and at breakfast? It simply needs banning please.

Would definitely return and absolutely recommend this family run resort to anyone

We loved our stay here with lovely rooms with a balcony and a beautiful pool area to relax. The staff went out of their way to help and the shuttle service into Tropea and the private beach was great. The breakfast each day was fantastic!

Great staff and clean hotel, would definitely go again!!

Close to everything and the shuttle service was great.

The towel policy where you only get fresh towels for the pool or beach every three days wasn’t ideal.

Nice stay near Tropea with beach access, rooms need renovation though.

Nice location, very close to the beach and Tropea and with access to private pool. Breakfast was excellent.

Room and furnishing look quite old. Acoustic isolation needs improvements as we could hear everything from the other rooms. For its price I was definitely expecting more from the a junior suite. Shuttle service to the beach and to Tropea should run more often.

Pool was nice. Everything was very clean. Food at Breakfast was good.

Felt that the staff was always watching over, especially with the children. Not allowed to gently jump into the pool. Breakfast time was quite frustrating to have the staff pretty much piggy backing on the children as they tried to get their breakfast. My son slightly spilled a coffee he was trying to bring me and the one staffer made him cry. It's a little over the top, I'm on vacation, I paid a premium, let me feel relaxed. If the resort doesn't want to cater to children, it should indicate this. Also, would be nice to have some music by the pool.

Great resort, close to Tropea.

Everything was just splendid. The room was nicely designed and appointed. Reasonable amount of room. Very small computer space. Good array of plugs. Nice bathroom and lots of storage. It is great for a resort and they have complementary shuttles to Tropea several times a day. Breakfast were ample and delicious, and we had dinner one evening - great.

Wonderful, would definitely return.

The staff are wonderful, very helpful and polite - Stefania, Giovanni, Alessio, Alan.... The property was very well maintained and clean - beautiful setting with cacti, olive trees and flora. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The pool was great and there is a wonderful poolside bar which serves lunch. They have a shuttle to the nearby beach and also into Tropea (a vibrant town) during the evenings. Wonderful, would definitely return - two thumbs up.

Fantastic hotel stay!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Accommodations were very clean and comfortable. The pool was large and great to cool off during the extremely hot weather. The buffet breakfast offered a fantastic variety of foods (thank you -Gianni). Lunches by the pool were also very good. The entire hotel is great value!ocation was close to city center and the beach, the shuttles were great. We will definitely return.

Clean, comfortable hotel with a pool!

The rooms were spacious and clean. Bar staff by the pool were excellent. The pool was clean, cool and refreshing. They had a convenient shuttle to go in and out of the city and to the nearby beach.

The property met our expectations. I would recommended it to anyone traveling.

the best experience in Calabria is made by staying in Tirreno

hotel tirreno was the best surprise of my trip. first it was very beautiful and charming as the pictures showed, but as they say: you go by the place you come back by the service and this was the best i ever had. the staff is really INCREDIBLE: Helena, Alesso, Alan and all the others are simply AMAZING. the best tips of restaurants, beaches, where to see the best sunset. the trip could not have been better. I strongly recommend booking a room with view front. it is simply beautiful.

Great stay and rest

Lovely room, great views towards Stromboli, food excellent and the staff were very friendly. Thanks to Stephanie in particular who was very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble to organise. Beach beautiful too

It is convenient to Tropea without being in Tropea. The restaurant on location was very good as well.

Neat property with great private beach close to Tropea

Nice property with a great pool, easy car park, private beach nearby with umbrellas and chairs at no extra cost and a free shuttle (but at walking distance if you feel like walking), also free shuttle to the center of Tropea at night. Good breakfast options including fresh fruit. Fast free Wifi.

The room could use a bit of renovation. Only one of the 2 a/c units was working and could hardly keep the temperature low. TV only had italian and german channels, plus CNN.

Excellent! Highly recommended!

I've stayed at Tirreno a number of times before and all of my stays have been lovely. It's my go to hotel for this area. The staff are incredibly helpful and go beyond their call of duty to help you in every way that they can.

There is nothing I didn't like! Everything was perfect for our short stay.

We are on a road trip around Italy and this hotel is up with the best.

Great layout of rooms and a good outside terrace. Breakfast best so far on our road trip round Italy. Great pool and pool bar with decent prices

TV controls were restricted. Couldn't get into menu to change brightness etc
