Everything was nice and clean, good breakfast. Petting cows was an extra bonus for the kids

Our three-night stay at the Vogafjos Farm Resort in Mývatn was truly magical, as we were fortunate to witness the stunning Aurora Borealis just outside our cabin doorsteps, perfectly living up to its reputation as the capital of northern lights. The cozy and comfortable lodging made the experience well worth the price, despite the food being a bit on the pricey side. Overall, the breathtaking views and unique atmosphere made it an unforgettable getaway!

My favorite place!!!

Had the greatest time at this hotel. Everything was great. The cows, the restaurant, the beds, the rooms. I would recommend this place to anyone! Do it! Beautiful location.

Durchdachtes Konzept, freundliches Personal, saubere Zimmer, Wir fanden es nicht wirklich hellhörig, wie es durch andere Gäste geschildert wurde

Über die Tierhaltung (Gitter im Boden für die Kühe) kann man sich sicherlich streiten. Wir fanden es nicht in Ordnung.

Feines Restaurant, nettes Personal, super Ausblick

Komplett aus Holz. Klein aber fein. Schönes Restaurant mit wunderbarem Blick.

Die Unterkunft war sehr warm, was dem tollem Wetter geschuldet war. Es gab nur ein kleines Fenster, welches man „gekippt“ öffnen konnte. Die Tür konnten wir aufgrund von Nachbarn und vielen Fliegen nicht offen stehen lassen.

Lovely chalet-style cabin blocks on a working dairy farm You can go see the cows (and watch milking) - the cleanest cowsheds (and cows!) I’ve ever seen Very nice restaurant and breakfast was super

There were parking bays immediately in front of our chalet so if we sat outside we had a car slap bang in front of us. Be aware of flies - it’s a working farm after all. But present in May so imagine it’s worse in summer months. It meant we didn’t want to leave our window open, so the room was quite stuffy. A fan might be helpful

Wonderful farm hotel and restaurant - my favorite place to stay in Iceland

This is my favorite place in Iceland. A working farm with a lovely hotel and fabulous restaurant. The cows are friendly, the staff is excellent, and the rooms are comfortable and well-appointed. It's right in the middle of the Myvatn area, close to everything (lake, lava fields, hiking, etc.)

A very atmospheric place, a real farm, amazingly beautiful animals, clean. There are good thermal baths very close.

The audibility in the rooms is absolute, it seems that the walls are made of paper, although everything seems to be made of wood. The breakfasts are poor; since this is a farm, they could have more variety; there is not a single porridge, scrambled eggs, or omelet.

Hervorragend!

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genoßen. Ein sehr geräumiges, sauberes und schönes Zimmer. Das Abendessen ist ein Traum! Wir haben selten so gutes Essen gehabt. Auch das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr reichhaltig und einmalig gut. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Wonderful! As long as you have considerate neighbours...

The restaurant is brilliant and we enjoyed the farm. Clean and comfortable and brilliant location to explore the Myvatn area.

The walls are very thin and the cabin next door to ours had a very loud squeaky door that the first night's neighbours kept opening throughout the night. The second night's neighbours were a different kind of noisy...

Very spacious and cozy rooms. The place were the restaurant was is very nice better than were the cabins are. Also we had a very nice dinner there with excellent view of the lake and cows.

The rooms are right next door one to each other without good sound proof. Therefore you can hear conversations of people in the next room and also hear them when they go to the bathroom. Despite the fact that the resort is in a very good place of the area, the view you have from the rooms is the parked cars outside

very quiet location, good bed, parking in front of the house. breakfast and dinner in a walkable distance. Nice and polite staff, great breakfast.

The wifi was really bad connection, even can't watch the video. Hotel feedback was really slow, they didn't solve anything and only say sorry after we left.

better for adults than children but overall good accommodation

location to nature baths and northern area Iceland . novelty of seeing cows being milked at breakfast. good quality breakfast but gf bread and other breads a bit too fancy ( too many nuts and seeds) for children so they wouldn’t eat it and were quickly hungry …. great choice for adults!

room was too hot even with all heating turned off.

A lovely place in a beautiful landscape.

The hotel room was very nice.

The dinner is unfortunately not really made for vegetarians. While we imagine that meat eaters will love the food, there is only one fish and one completely vegetarian option. Both were good, but it is a limited option. Breakfast was great though.
