The hotel is pure luxury. Every single detail is taken care of, to make your stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. The grounds, the hotel and the rooms are beautifully decorated, to the smallest of details. The cafe in the garden is very nice and the spa is good too. Only 10 min drive to Santiago de Compostela center. We would love to come back.

The location
The room view was at a parking, and old spa against 30 euros. During the night a continuos noice from the hall
2.0
The reception staff; the location of our room.
We paid over 300 euros, plus 45 surcharge for our dog for just one night at this hotel, so expected to be wowed by the experience, as previous reviewers had been. We specifically chose to travel hundreds of kilometres to spend a night at this hotel since the tasting menu, with wine parings, looked amazing and was supposed to be a memorable and luxurious treat. Our total bill for the room and set tasting menu with wine pairings came to an astronomical 650 euros. Unfortunately, this price was too much for this particular hotel experience. In our room, several of the handles on the furniture were broken and there were bits of wood coming away from the front of the desk. The mini bar only contained two soft drinks and the temperature wasn’t cold enough; there was no room service and only 3 tea bags were provided - each a different type of tea. The cups were espresso sized, so not really worth using for a tea. The biggest disappointment, however, was the new tasting menu: unbeknownst to us, it was more expensive and not anywhere near as exciting or desirable as the tasting menu advertised on both the hotel website and the information page on our TV screen in our room. We were looking forward to eating at the restaurant and had essentially chosen the hotel for the food. We chose the tasting menu as it was advertised on the room TV and looked great. Unfortunately, this information was out of date and we were disappointed with each course as it arrived at our table. Waiting staff also seemed to be making frequent mistakes and struggled with the timing of each course. The wine pairing choices were nice but our waiter served the smallest measures and gave almost no information about the wine, other that basically showing us the bottle. We had one small glass for three courses so we were without a drink for some of the time: appalling for a restaurant of such an apparently high calibre.

Beautiful grounds, friendly staff, amazing spa
A little far from downtown so had to taxi if you wanted to get anywhere else, but beautiful surroundings!

We spent two luxurious days at this fabulous boutique hotel on the outskirts of Santiago. The room was lovely, the bed super comfy and the staff was very attentive and friendly. We had amazing meals at the hotel restaurant - breakfast, lunch, and dinner! We met the proprietresses of the hotel - she’s delightful and made us feel at home. We really enjoyed walking along the creek pathway and park area adjacent to this property, an unexpected treat!
The hydro circuit at the spa was nice, but the water could be warmed up a bit in my opinion.

Excellent set up, in very nice surroundings!!!! Very polite and helpful personel! The very high quality of the food at the restaurant and the cozy outdoor cafeteria and the bar !!! Strongly recommended, excellent choice!!!
The distance from the historical center. You need a car to get to Santiago de Compostella, and to find a taxi to return is difficult in Santiago!

The hotel is perfectly located approximately seven minutes from the city centre. A small river runs behind it and the sounds make the setting even more relaxing and inviting. The pool, garden, and sitting rooms are immaculately kept and invite one to enjoy the day! We loved the staff! Our room was generous in terms of size and the bed, pillows, and bedding were exquisite. The restaurant was fabulous for dinner and lunch, and the cafe was perfect when we wanted a smaller meal. We look forward to returning!

Really nice room and facilities
Spa was great
Massage was amazing too- thank you Lucia
One of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had
A great finish to the Camino! So relaxing
I would have liked to see more/better options for vegetarians at the restaurant. However I do realise Galician food is not traditionally vegetarian.

The Quinta da Auga is among the most pleasant properties we stayed; the hotel is in a splendid condition, rooms are large and well equipped, the hotel
has a fantastic restaurant and a pleasant cafe for a light supper or an afternoon drink in the nice garden. The hotel is set in a beautiful nature and waking up with the sounds of the small river and birds singing is a feast. Above all the Quinta da Auga has excellent staff; without exception the people of this resort deliver an excellent product. We look forward to return soonest.
Nothing; the hotel is excellent in all respects.

Everything was excellent: the room, the facilities, the restaurant, the charming/classic decoration
The SPA was a bit crowded. Premium double rooms should have double beds instead of twin beds

Very clean, comfortable and very friendly and helpful staff. Close to Santiago by car. Restaurant and cafe at the hotel were great and breakfast was good too. The pool and spa were also very good. Everything was excellent!

We arrived under difficult circumstances as we had had to cut our holiday short due to a family emergency. We had had to rearrange dates and alter arrival times for which the charges were waived. We were looked after and helped including the most amazing packed breakfast because we had to get up at 03.00 to get ready for our flight. The room was luxurious and after so much stress it was exactly what was needed and the most quiet room I’ve ever stayed in.
I thoroughly recommend this hotel. Beautifully set in an old paper mill and with a fabulous restaurant.

The hotel itself, very charming, great decoration, furnished with a lot of taste, the main living room has a huge stone fireplace that they lit every night which gives the perfect ambience. Super comfy beds, sheets and pillows and great views to the river that launches all along the hotel's property. They also have a great spa with pool, jacuzzi and body health treatments of all sorts. Overall, t's lovely and all the staff adorable they make you feel at home from minute one, it's the kind of place you would be very happy to return over and over again. Also close to Santiago, only 10 min by taxi, which makes it a great location, and last but not least dog Friendly, so, for us it has it all, we will return for sure!
Nothing that I can think off.

Hotel is easily accessible by the car, with comfortable parking. Location is good - peaceful surrounding however it is very close to Santiago center. Very impressive interior with a lot of beautiful details. Friendly and professional staff. Rich and delicious breakfast. Good spa area.
Unfortunately during our stay Turkish sauna in spa was out of service.

i didnt stay there because on the same day when i landed in Santiago they called me to say the spa was not working. which was the only reason we booked that hotel, basically ruining the weekend i booked as a gift for my boyfriend. no prior notice, no offer for a spa voucher outside.. terrible
