We loved the location and surroundings. The facilities and atmosphere were just lovely. Staff fantastic!

Great location, rural yet close to town, friendly hosts

Bed very comfortable. Very warm. Good area for my dog to walk around Liked seeing the alpacas and goats

Walls were thin, could hear babies crying and people snoring. There was a generator going all night which was annoying. some people may find the pot holes in and steepness of the drive daunting. Although we booked some time ago we were told on arrival that the room we booked was NOT pet friendly and that we were to be in a more expensive room. It would have been better if we had been told that before, so we could decide whether to stay here or not. The room WAS much better, and we couldnt fault the comfort of the room or the friendliness of the staff, but having to pay an extra $30 a night was a surprise we could have done without

Location so lovely and peaceful. Great breakfast, great variety of cereals and options to go with them. Beautiful clean rooms. Awesome bed and shower. John our host was so awesome and friendly. Will definitely stay again when we are down that way

Location. Views across the valley. Animals around. Very friendly host. Great breakfast with very good selection of cereals etc. Very clean room and bathroom. Very comfortable bed

Good accommodation for our needs.Such a pity about the driveway.

We had room only but breakfast option available if required.Room was small but comfortable and good value for what we paid.

The driveway in to the property is appalling.Very narrow and steep with many potholes.Parking adequate but some not so easy to get into especially if other vehicles there.

Pleasant

Lovely little farm

People upstairs were loud and we could hear everything they did including footsteps and their late night shower but apart from that it was a nice place.

Great stay with a wonderful host

The host was pleasant, welcoming and overall a very great person. The accommodation is warm and homely and the relaxing surroundings and the odd alpaca roaming past is just lovely.

the noise of the compressor or whatever was making the constant noise. also hard to shut the cavity slider into the bathroom.

Hunter's Moon is a bright light in Mosgiel

Loved the quietness of the place, Loved the comfy bed, Loved the shower, Loved listening to the frogs croaking in the little man-made lake out the front of the room, The hosts are really friendly and accommodating, the fact you can put in your own passwords on the TV and watch Neon and Netflix and Amazon Prime Video with your own preferences is awesome and the continental breakfast that sometimes comes free with some online deals, is delicious, as is the omlette and the bacon.

It could do with an armchair in the room, although it would then make an adequate sized room a little cramped, but when you return after a day out, you only have the bed to relax on, as the chairs by the coffee table, that likely double as chairs you would use at the small kitchenette table, are comfy to sit on and eat or for about 10-15 minutes but you wouldnt spend the night relaxing on them. But that's just a small gripe, overall, it's a great place.

Love the peace and quiet of this location. Not to forget the lamas, ducks and tuis.
