Leuk motel in een leuk stadje

Fijn motel in het bergstadje Ohakune (het peen stadje). Hadden hier 1 overnachting tijdens doorreis naar Wellington. Motel ligt niet in het centrum van Ohakune, maar met een auto is dit niet erg. Kamer is ruim, met een kleine keuken en ook ruime badkamer. Vanaf het 'bordes' hadden we uitzicht op de besneeuwde bergtop.

Lag verder van het centrum, maar omdat we een auto hadden was dit geen probleem

Warm quiet and very clean good job.

We where upgraded to a bigger room much appreciated as we had our teenage grandson with us. The beds where crisp and clean sheets and comfortable. The room was quiet and shower good pressure. Best of all warm rooms just amazing when cold. Loved staying will be back with more family.

We enjoyed staying nothing to type. Didn't use electric blankets they weren't necessary but check plugs under bed in bedroom exposed wiring. Probably nothing.

Not impressed about the lie told to us about no downstairs room.

Was OK.

Asked for a downstairs room as we are older people. Told by the man booking us in there were no spare rooms. In the morning when i was taking things down to the car the 3 rooms underneath us were vacant and made up.

Large rooms and a spa pool

An older unit which means larger than usual rooms. Good for three people sharing a room. Recently painted and renovated, clean and comfortable. Helpful owners. Heated spa pool at the facility was a bonus.

Great quick mountain trip stay, everything you need

Perfect midway location between town and bottom of mountain road, all the necessities provided. Amazing shower pressure and meticulously shining kitchen bench

it was excellent and we enjoyed all the facilities.

The rooms were clean.

Communication with the clients what are the facilities we may get for our money. Eg we were not sure whether to use the food which were there in the fridge.

Older style motel, with furniture and fittings that reflect its age. We stayed two nights but received no servicing on 2nd day.

good affordable accommodation

check in was easy as, host was friendly and helpful. All our units were clean and well stocked. Beds were comfortable and warm. We all agreed that the showers in our units were awesome! good pressure, nice and hot.

needs a complete refresh, not particularly clean, outdated, not value for money

location to mountain. there is a laundry, ski gear drying room and even a ski waxing iron and table - would be useful to be advised about these on check in.

basic somewhat dated motel, spa was out of order. junk out the back window, needs a spruce up.
