Für so viel Geld hätte ich mehr erwartet

Schöne Anlage, ausreichend kostenfreie Parkplätze, freundliche Mitarbeiterin an der Rezeption. Tolle Reglung bezüglich der Getränke und der Snacks. Großzügiges Zimmer.

Für 282€ habe ich mehr erwartet als ein riesiges Zimmer. Beim Check In gab es Probleme mit meiner Zimmerkarte, die Tür ließ sich nicht öffnen, also wieder mit Gepäck zur Rezeption, da muss ich mehrfach klingeln bis jemand kam, ich wurde dann per Generalschlüssel ins Zimmer gelassen, später kam der Hausmeister und brachte mir eine neue Karte. Die Betten waren sehr weich, die Lampenschirme der Nachttischlampen waren voller Flecken, auch waren Spinnenweben in einer Höhe ab 1,60m nicht beseitigt. Der Badezimmerspiegel ist nur für Menschen bis 1,60m, wenn man größer ist, sieht man sein Gesicht nicht. Die Duschbrause musste ich erst einmal zusammenklicken, damit sie nicht auseinanderfällt. Der Wasserdruck war mehr als dürftig, zu allem Überfluss ist mehr an der Verschraubung des Duschschlauches rausgekommen, als aus der Brause. Das Zimmer war sehr warm, keine Klima, lüften bei offenem Fenster ohne Fliegengitter. Das Frühstück war nichts besonderes, dass habe ich woanders zum gleichen Preis deutlich besser gesehen. Auch der Frühstücksservice ließ zu wünschen übrig, als ich um sieben zum Frühstück ging, waren bereits mehrere Tisch mit benutztem Geschirr nicht abgeräumt. Zum Abschluss musste ich dann 20min an der Rezeption warten, bis ich auschecken konnte, da mir am Abend vorher nicht mitgeteilt wurde, dass die Rezeption erst morgens um acht besetzt ist. Für so viel Geld habe ich viel mehr erwartet.

Preis Leistung sehr gut.

Nettes Personal, üppiges Frühstück und verkehrsgünstige Lage.

Der Fernseher war verstellt und konnte nicht mehr repariert werden und so nur wenige Kanäle sichtbar. Nicht genug WC-Papier auf dem Zimmer.

Ein tolles Hotel mit einer sehr friedlichen Atmosphäre und wunderbaren Mitarbeitern. Das Zimmer war sehr komfortabel, sehr sauber und wirklich toll eingerichtet. Das Badezimmer ist eine Sensation. Ein solch üppiges Frühstück habe ich schon lange nicht mehr erlebt und gesehen. Ein Aufenthalt der besonderen Art, ich komme sehr gerne wieder.

Top hotel vlakbij Phantasialand

Dit hotel was vanaf Phantasialand maar 10 minuten met de auto. Voldoende gratis parkeerplaatsen. Omdat we laat zouden aankomen kregen we een bericht met een duidelijke omschrijving hoe we zelf naar binnen konden komen. We hadden een 2-persoonkamer met aparte bedden. De kamer was erg schoon en ruim. Goede douche en we keken uit op de binnentuin. Het ontbijt was uitgebreid met voldoende keuze. Ook de ontbijtzaal was gezellig met een openhaard. In de lobby en gang staan lekkere snacks die je gratis kan pakken. Bij de koelkast staat een lijst waar je kan invullen wat je pakt en bij het uitchecken kan afrekenen. Al met al dit is een aanrader!

Absolutely lovely. I can’t wait to visit again.

Your staff were light and friendly. Very kind and helpful. Breakfast was lovely. I was travelling alone and having music/radio playing during breakfast was lovely. The access to Bonn, Brühl and Cologne was brilliant. All the taxis services I used were courteous and kind (I was a woman alone) it helps when people are kind - especially at night or early in the morning. He reception lady was lovely. My son lives next door as he works for Phantasialand - he recommended the hotel and it was simple, clean and lovely.

I’d have liked to have better access to Wifi. I’m a gardener - I would love to help you sort out the plants at the front. It looks a bit shabby. My advice - take out all the plants in pots. Dig a flower bed in each side of the path and simply plant lavender and rosemary - easy to keep, easy to manage, looks gorgeous and when it rains the scent is heavenly AND you wouldn’t need to water once established. I’d love to come and sort that for you!!!

Walking distance from Phantasialand as well as the train station for anyone using public transport

Really nice building with lots of gardens and seating areas in a very quiet area. 24 hour self serve bar downstairs. Room, shower & lobbies are very nice and well presented.

Breakfast could have a few more options, there are no nearby cafes, restaurants or shops

The staff were absolutely lovely and could not have been more helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and good value for the price. The beds were comfortable. Free parking, I would definitely stay here again.

The pillows are not good, if you are going by car I highly recommend you take your own pillow for sleeping. We had lots of ladybugs in our rooms, but it's the countryside, surrounded by trees, so we were expecting more bugs. The kids had fun finding the ladybugs.

from the description and pictures, we expected a lot more. In comparison, the room and options in the hotel were rather bland. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed due to staff shortages.

Stay would have been perfect, but not having hot water almost in winter time is a definite killer for me.

Breakfast, Hotel facilities and Parking is great.

No heating and no hot water. Called and they just said “let me see what I can do” we did not even get notified that something was damaged, heard it from all the other guests that were complaining as well.

Great location and a typical German Hotel, breakfast was nice with good coffee and lots of choice.

What ruined our stay was that we did not have any heated water at all: not in the evening and not in the morning. Had to take cold showers during our stay.

Beautiful, quiet, relaxing and historic.

We loved the cake and coffee that we could take with us into the garden to relax! The honor system beer selection was nice too. Breakfast was delicious and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Lots of close parking and lovely grounds for strolling!

Awesome place to stay if you are looking for peace and serenity. Hospitable Staff.

Breakfast was okay but not the best we had, the location was great and exemplary and so quiet to sleep at night. Even though the hotel is undergoing renovations, the staff did not fail to impress its guests with their hospitality and excellent customer service

One of our TVs did not work and the housekeeping service was not so good (not enough towels, toilet papers or tissue) but it did not matter since we were out of the room most of the time.

Really nice stay in a Castle

The staff was really friendly and spoke english. the breakfast was tasty and the room was really nice. Room has a kettle and some teas as well as a cute postcard of what the building looks like from above.

Free breakfast was nice. The employees were very friendly. Free parking. Huge room.

No air conditioning as stated on website. Felt hot and stuffy most of the time, even with the windows open. Could not imagine staying during the heat of the summer.

More than enough

I enjoyed my room quite a bit. The hotel, in general, is quiet and tranquil. Breakfast is pretty good and has pretty flexible times (06:30 - 10:30)

The location is tricky. I arrived to the hotel walking and the entrance was not explicit enough.
