Romantic peaceful stay in the countryside

Great idyllic location in the countryside! Attentive thoughtful staff who couldn’t do enough for you. Tasty food on the lovely outdoor terrace beside the river

Great hotel on the Our

Great location on the river Our. Nice building. Very modern rooms. We had a great terrace overlooking the river (worth the extra money!). Restaurant had great food and good breakfast. Owners very nice and able to store bicycle in garage overnight.

Great base for bike riding with a god in-house restaurant!

They have a good restaurant, so no need to go out to look for food in the evening. Great location for bike riding.

Exceptional

Superb location, hospitality with a capital H. Wonderful terrace, literally on the border between Belgium and Germany, offering a lovely view of the river and the sunset behind the mountains, with an ice-cold beer after a long day hiking in the mountains and forests. The region is a hidden gem. The Alte Mühle is the perfect place to discover it. Hiking trails, long or short, directly from the hotel. The owner and his staff make you feel very welcome and pampered from the moment you arrive. We enjoyed the outdoor meals. Traditional rather than fancy, but tasty. The trout is a local delicacy and there is an excellent Riesling to make it swim.

Would like to spend longer if ever we travel that way again.

Excellent breakfast. Pleasant staff. Lovely situation. Good outlook from room over countryside.

The room was overheated and it was difficult to adjust to a comfortable temperature.
