One of the better hostals, great value and comfortable.

Always kept clean especially bathrooms , very sociable and great safe garden space with pool area. Good value meals available. Good location scruffy from outside but little oasis within

Many showers didnt run hot.

Lugar cálido y seguro.

EL luegar en general, es tranquilo, donde se puede hospedar y a la vez sentirse relajado.

El precio de las cervezas sí puede mejorar, considero que una bebida nacional no puede ser tan cara, debe estar al menos con un precio más competitivo como las de los bares y aun asi dejan un margen de ganancia más del 150%

Cheap, good location, if you are just looking for a place to crash it does the trick

The staff was nice, the location was close to bars if that is your thing, parking is included but a bit tricky to access.

Rooms were cramped, you can hear noise from the hallway. The bed was a bit uncomfortable.

La ubicación, la habitación amplia, buenos baños y varios en caso de demanda, buen ambiente, su piscina y restaurant saca de apuros para no estar saliendo de noche

Relax en plena ciudad

Súper limpio. Cuartos amplios. Cocina equipada. Duchas comodas y con agua caliente. Piscina super linda. Espacios comodos para descansar. Amo como esta ambientado con sus plantas.. te hace sentir lejos de la ciudad.

El personal no tenía mucha información sobre los tours, ni agencias de viaje para recomendarme. Es un detalle, pero me parece importante que el personal tenga esa info para asesorar al viajero

Anda con veneno para hormigas y la expectativa de que te mientan

Es lo más económico que sea más o menos céntrico. Nada más.

Segunda vez allí y segunda vez hubo mil hormigas en la cama. Menos la chica y el chico de la noche, los recepcionistas son inútiles y la con lentes es mentirosa.

Parada en San José

El hostel tiene todo lo que necesitas, cocina, restaurante, piscina. Sin duda, para pasar uno o dos días está muy bien. Las habitaciones son bastantes amplias y están limpias. Buen ambiente.

El ruido del tren, se escuchan los pitidos cada hora y hasta llega a temblar el edificio. La cocina, solo tiene 4 fogones, por lo que se hace muy lento cocinar. Sumado a que las neveras están llenas, y la comida no está marcada. Mi pareja dejó su bañador en el balcón para secar y a la mañana siguiente no estaba, había desaparecido.

Shame about the trains

Room had loads of space so was comfortable. Only one shower worked in terms of being hot downstairs but was good when you got it right. The staff were friendly and helpful and helped organise our hire car Shared kitchen was good with everything you needed (more bowls might have been good though) Good wifi Free coffee all day Good security

There was a cockroach in our room on the first night... Pillows were old and bumpy so not comfortable to sleep with. The hostel is right next to the train tracks, which blows its horn very loud from 4:30am, so it wasn't great for sleep and that would be the reason I wouldn't personally stay again.

It was cleaned in the middle of the night and a new guest arrived. The toilets and the bathroom were anything but clean. In general, it was also very noisy at night.

Great place to stay for the price.

Hostel amenities were really nice. Lot's of people hanging out around the pool, bar, restaurant etc. Very social, fun vibe.

Rooms are extremely basic, but hey, it's a hostel. The rooms and the bathrooms were clean.

great value for money for Costa Rica

The staff is really nice and they clean all the time! A lot of common spaces and a pool.

We had the double room with a metallic bunk bed which makes a lot of noise every time you move a tiny bit. The kitchen is not really clean but it is the backpackers fault.

Good value for money

The restaurant has big meals for $6-8 The hammocks and the pool are great The kitchen has always lots of free food and condiments The dorms downstairs near the pool/reception are quiet You can store your stuff for free, for up to a month

The dorm at the back, on the second floor (15?) Was very loud (traffic noise) from 5:30am, I couldn't sleep even with earplugs. The staff is not very nice Beds are soft, but can't complain too much for $10 a night;)
