Good value

Location was good, the room was very simple (price was low), WiFi was good, breakfast was basic, and personnel was very helpful, more than I expected.

Nice for someone without high expectations

Nice hostel (around average) with all the commodities : shower with hot water, air conditioning, tv and a lot of space in the room. The establishment has a private pool and a nice social area. You can fill your bottle with water at anytime (useful before trekking or boat excursions). The breakfast is modest but satisfying. The coffee is good (which is rare for the hostels). The service was kind and helpful at any time, although if you want to book a ferry or a trip, it’s better to go outside and book it on your own. At the España Hostel they charge you an extra fee apart from a higher price than two blocks away (i.e. the round trip to Isabela island with the hotel costed 85 usd whereas in other places is 60 usd).

The bathrooms of the old rooms without ventilation to the outside only to a hall, stained sheets and towels. Room without a desk, simple windows, a lot of outside noise.

I would never recommend this property or stay here again

The location was good

The pool was so dirty I could not even get into the water My room was on the fourth floor and I had to walk up four flights of stairs. I requested for a room on the lower floor and they never responded to my request. The breakfast was terrible. They served cold food.

Superb

The lobby was nicely decorated and the pool was really nice. The pool fountain was not on during our stay which I normally would not note but it is on their cover photo. They offered separate pool towels for the pool and bathroom right off the room. Good size room. Overall I thought it was a good value for the money. .

There only seemed to be one place to plug in anything in the room. The beds were ok but not great. No refrigerator in the room but you could use the community refrigerator in the communal kitchen.

One star accommodations for four star price

Location was decent, and breakfast was ok.

Expensive with terrible accommodations. The room was dark with no view. The wifi was so slow as to be unusable. Even the shower was cold. And they refused to accept credit cards. It really felt like a cheap one star place but at a four star price. There are much better options in town that are both nicer and cheaper.

Perfect location, no wifi

The room got cleaned very thoroughly every day and the location was perfect!

The wifi was absolute garbage, even for galapagos. It didn't work in the room and was basically non existent in the lobby. It was obviously a family hotel with ALOT of kids. The staff didn't speak much English.

Staff was very nice and the view from the upper terrace was very expansive. Good breakfast!

Window looked out onto service entrance hallway and had to turn off toilet water after each flush.

Great location and very close to everything . Helpful staff.

Too basic. Poor breakfast. Price was more expensive on booking than in reality. My friends paid much less in the same hotel for the same period with us!
